[Q] Touch screen connector replacement - HTC Butterfly S

Hi everyone! I've been recently replacing cracked screen using Droid DNA youtube manuals. But I was stuck at the step of disconnecting touch screen flex cable from the motherboard. On droid dna you need to pull up the white part of the connector - which I was unseccesfully trying to did, bit on butterfly s it's the opposite black part which should be pulled up. So, while I was messing with the white part I made some damage to the connector and now after the replacemnt touch screen doesnt work well. My question - whether is is possible to order replacement connector(I couldn't find one - maybe htc one has similar connector?), and whether it is possible to replace it at all?

"brighter" spot on the screen

Hi,
After months owning an N1, I managed to sell it today and buy a new one (with a guarantee this time) for a little additional money. The problem was, after some time using it, I noticed there is a small problem with the screen: there is a spot near the bottom left corner which seems to be brighter than the rest of the screen, especially when holding the phone in a certain angle. Kind of like this:

Do you guys know why this could be happening? Anyone has something like it? Is there a way to fix it, or should I send it back to HTC?
Nothing? :-(
Does it have screen protector?

[WIP] Wireless Charging on IncS

I am planning to install wireless charging in IncS.
I would need some advice from experts in order to move forward.
On going through various forums on internet, i came across a small difference between the HTC Droid Incredible 2(Which supports wireless charging) and IncS.

There are 4 small contact points on both the motherboards(Marked and circled in the pic). But on INcredible 2 there is a small plate soldered on those. Whereas, on INcS there is no such thing. I mean there is no way a Qi compatible charger receiver can touch the motherboard.
My question now is that should I get this thing soldered on IncS motherboard or do I need to do something else also?

Touch is not responsive after screen replacement.

Hey there. I've been using Xperia SP for a year now and my screen (the glass) broke after my phone hit the ground once. I bought new glass from the internet. It came just like that :

}
+ glue. Without the frame. I managed to replace it on my own but after that the touch isn't that responsive.
I'm using it for couple days now and here goes my question. What should I do from now on. It's almost impossible to write messages the touch just ... breaks? if i'm trying to scroll something it breaks and clicks the thing under my finger atm. I have to touch it very strong, push the glass to its limits in order to make the system respond, sometimes it doesn't work at all. Is it possible that I did something wrong while I was screwing the phone?
Try with hard reset if it doesn't work it is defective or you didn't build it the right way

Part of digitizer dead?

Is it possible a part of the digitizer to be dead? I didn't know if the problem was because of the rom, and after installing a new rom I realized that the lower part of the screen is dead. Both capacitive buttons and a part of the lower screen isn't responting on my touch. Here is an image of were the screen is dead. If I change the digitizer will it be ok? Or it may be something else?

I have some similar problems with the digitizer...
My digitizer has lost function in the middle-part.
so i changed the digitizer with a new one.
then the problem was gone for 4 month and now there is the same problem with the new one again at the same place.
so i think the problem could be somewhere else like on the board itself...

Xperia z1 digitizer

Hi. I have xperia z1 with broken digitizer, but it was working half way. I bought new digitizer with lcd and frame, replaced it and touch is not working. I sent this lcd/digitizer to service to be sure it's ok and they said me that it is ok. So what i think i have done is i ripped off from the mainboard a small capacitor or resistor when i was uncarefully unpluging screen. So it doesnt work anymore. And i have a great request if someone have their phone apart to give me closeup photo of area that i pointed in picture so i can solder something here. Big thanks in advance.
