Actually this is a ROM and @alinghi100 question was justified as it is NOT specified in the OP if the firmware is rooted or not.
Please, stick to the topic.
EDIT: Sorry, I just downloaded the files and unfortunetly this isn't a full ROM, just the deodexed files and a script for zipalign. My fault, sorry for the confusion Anyway the OP could specify more clearly what it is.

Op is not so clear, and without downloading it is impossible to understand If it is a full Rom or only files. Fortunately there are some users that understand people asks without telling in other words to other users "you are stupid, just read"

This causes justified confusion
I'm not sure when did he added "patch" in title but it's quite clear if it's patch then it's not ROM.
It's deodexed patch...
Script will delete all your dex and apk files in system folder (subfolders app, priv-app and framework) and replace them with deodexed apk files.
You have to have rooted device on 438 firmware.

Yes, so if this requires root and root is not available, what's the point of this?
I don't have the device and I don't know if the old rooting method will work on this latest firmware or not...

So I understand you recommend flashing it coming from 4.0.4 - I currently run 'stock' ICS 4.0.4 Touchwiz (but cleaned up somehow and with custom kernel) so can I just wipe everything and then install the zips from you?
How can I flash the custom kernel? Is it already integrated or do I have root access standard?
You say a v1.2 is on its way with integrated Play Store - is it going to be there tonight (it's 20:03 here in the Netherlands) or should I wait until tomorrow?

I'm on original 4.0.4 pre-rooted and with CWM. Wipe all, Flash ROM, then superSU in original recovery I assume, then extract apps?
Does your rom include custom kernel preventing brick bug?

i'm not very sure if it works fine from other firmware
So i suggest you to be on .69 to flash this as these apps were from .69 firmware

No I searched a lot for a way to root but all the ways is only for unlocked bootloader and my phone is locked

Today i've done "my rom" for Xperia Z.
It's based on 10.7.A.0.228.
Main features:
- deodex (0 FC's)
- debloat
- fixed SystemUI (alingnment, navbar bugs)
- included recovery
- included SuperSU

Insert it on zip in catalog /META-INF/com/google/android and try install it again. This'll not install recovery (i've used this updater becouse i've UB)

Okay, i've found bug with SetupWizard. It's already fixed, and i'm uploading v2.

Sorry but for me xposed causes bootloop
Hi,
Thank you for this great rom and of course your work !
But i have a problem with MMS, i can't send or receive them, same if mobile data are activated...
When someone send me a mms it it appears like this "Message not downloaded" if i make a long clic on it and then clic on " Download the message" a popup appears and says "Can not download the message. Check the settings for MMS"
If i want to send one it doesn't work and under the MMS there is a small popup : "wait before sending"

As wifi is activated i haven't seen that i've no mobile data connection but why ???
Everything works with a Galaxy S3...
Maybe this could help, i tried to debloat a little bit more, but i've surely deleted an apk that make mobile data don't work ?...

Swiqi settings is for bravia engine. Probably you have problem with baseband, try to reflash it.

i've found that under settings i have to clic on "Plus" then on "Internet Settings - Download settings for internet and MMS" then i choose my provider (SFR) and now it works !! :good:
