Oh. Em. Gee. HI LEIGH!! ITS BEEN SOOO LONG!! ALSO: im super happy to see youre still building roms and such! i hope this is fantastic, because god dammit, i want aosp.

Another AOSP ROM with broken camera and GPS or whatever it is that's busted and waiting on Samsung/CyanogenMOD?
Ugh.
Actually the OP has not said this is AOSP based. But if it's not, then I don't think it's allowed in this subforum.

And if it works on all variants of the Snapdragon variant, it is allowed in the unified section.

This is not my work.
This Rom is ported by spegelius. I've found this here: http://forum.slimroms.net/topic/100-galaxy-s4-active/
Everything seems to be ok.
Bugs:
720p video recording produces crap video(but 1080p works fine)
HDR

-Gapps
Screenshots:
I am sorry I posted in General but i couldn't post in Development.
Thanks for making this more public, this way more people will get the chance to try it
Just one important hint, @spegelius didn't port it, he compiled that beast from Source, which is an important fact
I can confirm that this is a good, daily driver for sure!
Greetings
Thomas

Oh hey, thanks for putting this up . I never got around to it, didn't seem that too many users were interested about it. But good to hear it works for people. And about the build, i used LeJay's kernel sources etc to make it happen.
Happy to know about this! Already dowwloaded it but I need my phone working this weekend and I can't risk to have any kind of problem, I will surelly try it as soon as I get home next week.
Thanks a lot! Hope more people start working on I9295, my son's Moto G just got the OTA 4.4 update, lucky him!

What Android version is this based on? 4.2, by any chance? I was foolishly hoping that it could work with Safestrap for us suckers without the international variant.

Install the rom? Flash it with CWM. Install the kernel? Well i don't know about other devices than Intl S4 Active, but inst it like, even if there was such kernel, it can't be flashed due to locked bootloader?

This looks good. Has anyone (besides spegelius) flashed it? I'm reasonably satisfied with my rooted 4.2.2 stock ROM and really want to move to 4.4. On my SIII I already had KitKat and now I have to settle with 4.2
Cheers
I installed this ROM but google play acts strange. It doesn't reinstall all my packages and still refuses to install for instance swype. I chose for the aroma gapps but will do a new wipe and try another gapps
Cheers
Must have been the gapps. Up and running now and reinstalling apps. Looks good
Cheers
I have several issues. My titanium restored Wi-Fi passwords are disappearing each time. The phone discharges as fast as it is charging. It will probably be empty after 1 hour on battery.
I think I will switch to my LG G2 I recently acquired... any ideas?

Official 6.0 release
Based on 4.4.4
We completely overhauled the rom and rebased the crap out of it. Lots of new features and so much better. Current kernel build is 4.4-3.3 as posted in the kernel thread.
Full changelog will be posted in the OP soon. I'm waiting for it to get finalized and posted...

Official 5.2 released
We are already working on 5.3, and so far it is freaking AWESOME!
My Lightning Zap! kernel is featured in this Rom. With Validus and Lightning Zap! combined, we have made a spectacular, super smooth, and buttery fast kernel Rom combination.
Enjoy!
**NOTE** If you have random freezes and/or reboots, try downloading trickstermod app from play store and under the general tab, enable frequency lock. Some of our devices don't like to be oc'd for all 4 cpu's. Since cpu 1-3 (aka 2-4) go on and offline, they aren't governed by the underclock settings, meaning there is no setting the mx_cpu_freq to less than 1836mHz. I'm working on fixing this, and hope to have a kernel update out soon.
For kernel updates click here

You will get none..
As System updates means related to google update bt as you are rooted and on a custom rom you wont be able to get the Google system update.
AND
As far as I know this rom doesnt have OTA updater.
Correct me if I am wrong.

Yes, we are
Had to work out some issues because we changed some sources. Running a new build and all should be fixed now. Hopefully, I'll have a build out within the hour...
**EDIT** Sorry guys but some things got broke upstream. I have 5.2 booting, but ringtones and sound notifications still don't work. We are working on it thought and can hopefully have a build out soon. If not tomorrow, then it will probably be after the weekend since I have plans with my family this weekend...

(Tablet UI lol)
Overview
MIUI-v6 (It's called this in MiCode so I'm going with V6) ported to MSM8960.
Thing is it's awfully ****ed up looking due to it's tablet interface so this is going to take a little bit of work probably.
Working
-Torch
-Data (4G on boot <3 you guys)
-Mounting
-Recorder
-Music
Not working
- Launcher layout
- Dialer (Xiaomi didn't make it LOL)
- ???
WARNING
HEAVILY EXPERIMENTAL, will require a metric fkton of tweaks to become a daily driver most likely I am only posting this to show love and for observation purposes.
Download:
MIUI-v6: Alpha-0.01
PS: It's in tablet UI and prolly all ****ed up but herewegook

Ok I uploaded this, It's pretty incomplete and exists ONLY for people who are curious; this cannot be used as a daily driver; a lot hasn't been translated and the UI is totally mangled because of resolution differences.
This is only for people who are curious about the general direction MIUI is going in, it will not be pleasant or beautiful; minds will not be blown using this firmware a lot of work has to happen still

Nice!
But how did you ported that? Did you have a script or a tutorial for me to follow? Cause I want to try to port roms from the Galaxy S4 to this phone ( like the MIUI V5, I know you did a topic about but I still want to try ).

Any progress to report?
Basically I don't take money for developing because I do it for me, in the spirit of that I've decided to direct all my attention onto the only device I own since doing work for other devices really does not benefit me
I would like to do work on S5 TouchWiz, Sense 6. I want to work on interesting firmware that is challenging and this has almost become an art project at this point since at a code level everything mostly works. I have to admit I wasn't really prepared for that.
So pretty much if you folks have seen any firmware of interest let me know in PM and I will try to bring it to the MSM8960 tree
In regards to this I really can't give an ETA, I'd frankly rather just work on something else
Than you for the hard work anyway. You've been trying to get this stable as new versions approach for awhile now. I don't blame you for taking a breather... I must say I have to light you up with a donation for all the time and effort from previous versions... I got you.. Thanks again

This is an Official Port of FlymeOS for the Samsung Galaxy S5. Many other devices will be supported by me as they get developed. But, for now there will be only two devices, Grand Prime and Galaxy S5. These devices seem to be the main phones people use now-a-days because of their customization. Our website is based off from Meizu's website, so there isn't confusion on what you, the user, is downloading.
About the Creator, what makes this "Official?"
Code:
I, Slenderman8090, am known for developing ROMs for multiple devices. A(n) developing
agent from Meizu's Flyme Operating System Development team had noticed that I had been
building Flyme ROMs for multiple devices, and asked if I wanted to be a volunteer at their
team, clearly I said yes, because I did not want to miss an opportunity to develop software.
What is FlymeOS?
Code:
[B][U]FlymeOS[/U][/B] is a(n) operating system created by a Chinese
Telecommunications company known as Meizu. This OS is known for being simple,
yet sleek, when it comes to looks. This device is supported by thousands of devices,
as well as their-own branded Smartphones.
Estimated time:
Code:
Since this version of FlymeOS is in early development and testing,
this could take quite a while. While you wait, why not try other options
such as LineageOS or MIUI (If supported on your device.)
Download:
Code:
You can find the download link (once released) at our
website [URL="http://flymeosofficial.tk"]http://flymeosofficial.tk[/URL]
Want FlymeOS to be built quicker for your device?
Code:
If you are willing to help develop FlymeOS as a group of individuals.
You can get this operating system developed faster, and be able to have an official
OS. The instructions can be found [URL="https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BzYtmgtRzB_Ad05zSXh5aENLYkk/view?usp=sharing"]here[/URL]
Software that will be required:
Code:
[LIST]
[*]Android 5.0+ Firmware
[*]Non Dual-Sim Device
[*]Qualcomm Device (No Exyphos Processor aka International Version)
[/LIST]

After using 6.7.12.29R Beta build with Gapps Pico and Magisk for a day, I'm quite impressed with the rom.
Besides no rotation and being a little hungry on battery it is smooth and responsive.
BT works great. No problem with WIFI and data (after the fix).
Overall a basic rom but fun to use. Backed up to my favourites file :good:

NOUGAT
I'm not going to make a colorful thread on this. This is just a PURE STOCK deodexed rom.
There are only minor fixes here and there. There are ZERO mods added to this rom. That means its
STOCK........
Flashing Instructions
You MUST be on the newest 7.0 bootloader. No exceptions. This WILL NOT
work on a 6.0.1 bootloader, so dont try it. A FULL WIPE is required before flashing.
Once your phone boots up (like 10-15 minutes) the welcome screen will pop up. Your phone will reboot ONE time,
and it will be fine after that.
This rom comes with my stock kernel with SafetyNet commits. It also has the latest Magisk App
for enabling SafetyNet.
My kernel is EXCLUSIVE to this rom. Which means do NOT use it if your a rom builder, UNLESS, you ask me first.
Using a kernel made by someone else will be very hard to hide the contents. So if you want to use it, ask first.
Enjoy

Should/could Edge users use your ROM with either stock Edge kernel from official TMOB firmware or the Edge noxxx kernel posted on Forums here?
I guess I have to ask, like your last MM 11.5 Kernel, plans on release for Edge variants in general?
Thanks for your time.

Should work for the Edge as long as you flash a different kernel.
Me building for the Edge are very slim......I hate to keep saying this, but there
isnt enough feedback around here anymore. And that goes for the Flat as well.
I have ZERO motivation at this point
Working awesome thus far, thanks for your hard work man.

Well, slim is better than an absolute never
Without my stepping on toes, just trying to figure out why on Telegram group is this posting in their info area:
G92xF/I only.
T-Mobile kernels will only made by The Sickness (his own work).
Rules:
1. Discuss kernel related stuff.
2. Dont share kernel outside group.
3. English only.
4. Noxxx can decide the rest
The noxxx kernel being used right now for NNE4.5 is listed as [email protected] #1 Dated May 28
This same kernel for flat and edge users was graciously provided on the Tmob S6 Forums here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-galaxy-s6/orig-development/nougat-noble-kernel-t3612808
I guess my confusion is an initial release was provided June 17...only a few days ago, with references on Telegram to you. I am actually putting my own foot in my mouth as I type here, so I guess I will close with a thank you for all your past work. Hopefully enough of us oldies still around here can wake the sleeping dragon in you to get some more motivation for those of us still happily using the last unlocked Bootloader model from Sammy and Tmob.
Back to my corner :good:
