What do you mean by gapps thing? I flashed PA gapps and it was fine...
I'm back to my previous rom because I find it annoying not having swipe to switch between notificiation panel and toggles, rom looks and feels rather solid from my short experience...

[Test] [Rom] [4.2.2] Domination 05.30.13

New to compiling for this device, I am sure there will be errors/issues...
Download : Domination ROM 05.30.13
Use the gapps package found on this page
I do -not- own this device so please be patient. This was not pretested in any way this time, so please report back promptly about any serious issues so I can try to get them resolved and so other users don't have to suffer the same fate.
Consider this experimental, not sure if it is daily driver suitable yet but coming along nicely.
for more information on the base rom, please visit Owain94's site or Unjustified's goo.im or Unjustified Dev's Fascinate thread for pretty pictures and stuff.
Thanks to Unjustified Dev and Owain94 for rom source

no problem, hopefully who ever the first guinea pig is reports back fast if it's no good.
I am thinking goo.im will have to show the file sometime soon as I uploaded the rom nearly 20 minutes ago :|

[DEV] [ROM] [LP] Lollipop (CM12) for the SGS

Hi guys,
i am Jeffreyvh and i am compiling cm12 from source now, i hope that there are devs around here who can help me with fixing bugs else it will take around a year to get it stable since i have not that much experience with fixing internal bugs... i hope that someone wants to help me, there will be another thread for the rom itself ofcourse it will be in xda-developers->Samsung Galaxy S->Android Development->[DEV] [ROM] [CM12] Cyanogenmod 12 HomeMade
i am currently doing a full repo sync of the cm12 source after that i will try to make a early build so that we can see whether the rom boots or not.
Thanks for reading this and hopefully i see some new devs around me

Lol, nice to see you use zorin as well
so that error is because you need to run extract-files.sh from the vibrantmtd source tree. If you don't have one, try extracting the files on the root of any vibrant rom (bml_over_mtd, modem.bin, etc.) and placing them in vibrantmtd tree. I will send you the files if you cant get it. Just send me a PM.

I successfully compiled cm11 and i have added some tweaks, its a lot faster now. The question is: should i release it or use it private only?
I dont know if people still are interested in kitkat, but i like the speed... Its one of the most important things for me!
Let me know what u do think

I have added some kernel tweaks, cant tell you what i have all done. Its a lot and if i write it down then im typing for hours on my little phone(lumia 630 - windows 10 for phonez).
i will make an thread today and i will also upload it today. I removed all useless things like voice dialer and etc. The battery life is amazing , its even better then it was on my S2 with cm11. I will post screenshots of the battery life too, maybe i should include my own launcher which is very very fast since it has only an list of ur apps and some shortcuts in ur homescreen no widgets and etc. I will make 2 versions
thanks for ur interests
and by the way, sorry for my bad English i am dutch

Paranoid Rom

Hello guys how are you!
A few days ago I realized that some developer compiled the paranoid for Moto G4 Play, only for some reason, they excluded, I believe
I think it's a good rom to bring to the Moto G4 Play
It is a test build, of course they won't post it on XDA
It still exists and its build has been updated recently, I tested it and is very stable.
You can download if you want to test.

Official Paranoid for G4 Play is impossible. The PA team do not buy Motorolas for some reason. PA is close source but not completely. So this PA won't have colour engine, new pie, pocket mode and all the other PA exclusive features
Great... so I might as well look for a better alternative.

Correction: PA is not completely closed sourced. The ROM in itself is open source (that's how we are able to build it unofficially in the first place). Only certain main features like Color Engine, Pie etc are closed source and available only for Official devices.

Like I said, better look for an alternative. If I can't have the standout features, I might as well either wait for LOS 15 which will by that time hopefully include OMS or switch to one of the other OMS-enabled ROMs out there... crying shame really.
Excuse me for double-posting, but Paranoid Android has or will release the source to all the added features like PIE and Color Engine and stuff like that. Now even unofficial builds can have the same features as the officially supported devices
Thought i'd let you guys know here rather than starting a new thread
Code is out . Compile. Upload. Share. Thank you so very much in advance. =)
I wish I had the knowledge to compile a ROM.
It sucks no one is willing to make PA for our device
Edit:
I tried it and failed already at the horrible description and the fact that the ROM doesn't officially exist for our device.
Turns out the dev made 4.22 builds - I tried them and they will not boot, so don't try them.

It boots up, sim doesn't detect, there is a blue flickering bootanimation. Colour engine, new pie and all other stuff are working. @Dark98. For people for which it didn't boot, when it is boot looping reboot to bootloader and then start. It should work. I hope this becomes stable

I presumed the flickering animation was a boot error - its done that on some past phones 0.o thanks for the information though.

Sim card should be fixed, and the boot animation is because the resolution isnt correct, but as far as I know the only bugs the ROM should have bow are camera problems

Before we'll see bricked devices here, and also i am sure again there's a rom used as base people don't have the permissions for (yes, also for official roms you need to ask for permissions)
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=961840155545572626 & https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=817550096634769278,
please someone fix the RIL on espresso3g - i won't do it.
And while on it:
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=817550096634790962
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=673368273298976929
There have been reasons not releasing any other roms yet, but people can't be patient...
i'd like to have ril fixed first, but be happy with a buggy RIL versions.
First boot takes a while, wait some minutes before you start Gapps Setupwizard, else it might crash.
And please DON'T report any bugs - i am not interested on it.
And before i foget:
Take some of your money now and make a small donation to a charity of your choice!

No, I don't allow to use any of my work or official ROMs I maintain (official Slim, Omni, CM, Lineage and Unlegacy Android) to use as base for a port!
Every use for romporting will be reported to the moderators immediately!
Reuploading also isn't allowed and will cause legal consequences!
A shame that those trolls have been that rude to you, that you closed down the LineageOS thread @Android-Andi. I'm sorry for what they did, cause you definitely didn't deserve to be treated in such a manor. On the contrary you deserve to be carried on our hands by the whole community. Thanks again for everything you did to hold our Tab2 alive.
Thanks for sharing! Will stay on LineageOS 13 for the time being though.

Yes, see screenshot.
Installed your build, installed gapps, installed AnyKernel-2017-07-09-22-11-espresso.zip, then reboot.

Will it work for GT-P3113, the kernel? I saw that kernel on XDA for 5xx, but I don't know if other tab 2 models are supported.
Sorry new to making ROMs for Tab 2, I make ROMs for tab 4.

Before we'll see bricked devices here, and also i am sure again there's a rom used as base people don't have the permissions for (yes, also for official roms you need to ask for permissions)
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=961840155545572626 & https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=817550096634769278,
please someone fix the RIL on espresso3g - i won't do it.
And while on it:

There have been reasons not releasing any other roms yet, but people can't be patient...
i'd like to have ril fixed first, but be happy with a buggy RIL versions.
First boot takes a while, wait some minutes before you start Gapps Setupwizard, else it might crash.
And please DON'T report any bugs - i am not interested on it.
And before i foget:

Ok, sry have seen my "porting friend" posting here and thought it's a port too because nothing's mentioned in OP.
I'll PM you next days or you can contact me on Hangouts (I am sure you'll find out how to find me)
