[Q] Can i use Xposed framework? - LG Optimus L90

Can I use the Xposed Framework safely on my device T-Mobile LG-D415, I know how to use it but I just switched from an HTC Sensation And I want to know if I can use it because I know we don't have an easy way to do recovery after a Brick. :fingers-crossed:

Hi mcslamer,
using it on my D405 without problems. xposed with gravity box.
kindly regards
4pio

Yes, XPosed Framework works wonderfully with the D415. Also, we now have access to fastboot on the D415.

question on xposed framework?

Will the xposed framework work on a root android one phone? Specifically the gravity box mod? Has someone installed the xposed framework on a stock android one rom?
My phone is kind of a daily driver, so just checking to see if some one already has done this and their experience if any.

It works perfect. I've been using the gravity box mod for quite a few days now and it works extremely well without any issues. I'm using stock android one ROM and have faced no issues so far.

Thanks guys. Based on feedback went ahead and rooted stock ROM. Got xposed installed and gravity box running.
Did not loose data as I did not unlock boot loader. So app data remained, which is what I wanted.
Overall, I would recommend anyone with this phone to go with xposed framework.
What are the other modules that you guys are finding helpful apart from gravity box?

Ex kitkat themer is another great module for getting better UI . Then there are others like xprivacy Bluetooth unlock toolkit android tuner (this one is an app and module combined in one) and is very useful . These are the ones i can remember now . Scroll through the list to discover others that you need. Hope this helped

Nope. It's not working. While flashing through recovery it says that the architecture version in 5.1 is 22 while the frameworks been made for 21.

Yes I did. Flashing the zip through recovery gets my phone stuck at boot animation and I have to restore a backup to get the phone back to normal.

Any resources to make Xposed work on One Plus One?

I have a new phone One Plus One with me. I don't have any custom ROM in it. Neither do I have it rooted. Is there any online tutorial on how to get Xposed working on this phone?

Without root - no Xposed for you. Furthermore I would suggest to check the OnePlus One sub-thread here on XDA, there is a high chance that this topic has already been covered.
You'll absolutely have to root. There's no way around it. Depending on the modules, you can maybe unroot after, but you'll definately need to be unlocked and have a custom recovery, and would not accept any OTA updates after you install it. I am running xposed on my 1+1 right now with slimrom and AK kernel.

You need to flash this version of the framework using TWRP: http://dl-xda.xposed.info/framework/sdk23/arm/xposed-v86-sdk23-arm.zip
Since you're running a custom firmware, I'll assume that you know how to do that.
After that's done, you need to install this version of the xposed installer: http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3383776&d=1435601440
If you prefer a prettier version of the xposed installer, you can use this one instead: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/material-design-xposed-installer-t3137758

Does Xposed work with ZUI?

I'm looking to buying this phone, the standard model, and i want to know if xposed works on the ZUI ROM? I've had experience with MIUI where it wouldn't boot after, so just making sure.
Thanks in advance!

Yes it does. I would make sure to update ZUI to the latest version FIRST then I would install xposed. The one issue I have experienced with xposed is that you cannot download and install modules on the installer. Modules have to be downloaded from a browser then installed like any other apk.
