[Q] Bluetooth Controller Support CM10/CM11 - TouchPad Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey all, I recently updated my Touchpad to CM10.2 and realized that there is no more support for wii remote pairing. After looking around on the web a little, it seemed as though CM11's newer builds include support for wii remote pairing again, so I downloaded the 07/06 CM11 nightly and tried pairing to the wii remote, to no avail.
My question is what I should be using to get this bluetooth pairing to work (preferably besides getting an external bluetooth dongle). I am willing to find a PS3 controller if I need to, which seems to report more success in pairing with the newer versions of Android.
Please ask if there is any additional information that I need to provide.

[Q] WiiMote Working on JPP?

Hello, I have noticed that Bluetooth in JPP has been improved. Before JPP I usually needed several trys for connecting my BlueTooth acelerometer (WiTilt ). Now I connect always at the first try.
Maybe they solved the problem with the bluetooth stack and WiiMote can connect now.
Please can some1 with a WiiMote check this, I'll buy one if works.

[Q] cm11 tenderloin KitKat now 4.4.2 ?

Does the 12-12-13 update include kernel changes which are suppose to repair black box issue in default browser api ?
UPDATE: Forgive my ignorance. I now see the commits included in Milaq's CM11 KK 4.4.2 update for the TouchPad (tenderloin). And understand the devs are still working updating 3.6 kernel. So will need to live with the Kernel 2.6.35 for a while longer. But until then apps utilizing default browser api are problematic. At least Chrome and Firefox are working.
I'm running Milaq's 4.4 ROM also. Happy to run with it for now even with "black box" issues, is running incredible smooth so far. Using shortcuts to Chrome bookmarks is my workaround for Gmail etc just now, although same issue in the BBC news app (and others I'm sure
I don't have enough posts to post or reply in development forum so posting here.
On the CM11 dev thread a couple posts about audio issues. I've flashed the 12/10, 12/12 & 12/14 CM11 nightlies and have not observed/heard audio issues.
And BT and WiFi are working ok. And file transfer via USB and BT ok (although BT transfer appears slower from what I recall in CM7/CM9 or WebOS).
Haven't yet figured out how to get BT streaming (from a Windows PC) to work.
If I could get my Plantronics Backbeat 9033+ BT headset to charge correctly, I could test those with CM11 (previously I the BT headset working well in CM9 as well as WebOS). Wish I never bought this particular headset, as they hurt my ears, no matter which eartips I use. And now will not charge. (I only used a few times since purchasing late last spring). Need to look up my warranty. Sorry I digress OT.

When I stated BT was working ok, I was referring to paring the TouchPad with an HP TouchPAd Wireless Keyboard as well with a WIndows XP PC.
I was able to get the BT headset working with my WIndows PC (it was charging ok...issue was operator error). And when I search for BT devices on the TouchPad CM11) my headset displays in the device found list. But when attempting to pair the CM11 Touchpad with the headset, Bluetooth on the TouchPad turns off, and then within a few seconds BT turns back on.
Anyone able to get a BT headset working with CM11...yet?
I probably should just sit back a bit and wait for the updated kernel.

[Q] Nougat and Bluetooth contollers

Is there anyone in here that has attempted to use a Bluetooth controller for games on 7.0? Every ROM I've tried I have issues with my d-pad sometimes working but mostly not. Its a brand new Steel Series Stratus XL controller. I'm going to go back to 6.0 to see if maybe its a Bluetooth driver issue on Nougat, but just wanted to get others input on this issue.

Bluetooth Gamepad Problem

Guys I have a problem with our beloved xperia and I'm posting only now because I am sure now it's actually the phone, not the device (I tried it on an old KitKat Samsung and a nougat moto g... Everything is fine there).
So I have an iPega 9025 bluetooth gamepad which was working all right in my previous Nexus 5.
Here's the problem: FIRST TIME I try to pair the pad everything is fine, gamepad is working as it should be in games, emulators and within the android system. After first use though, if I turn off the gamepad and turn it on again it just doesn't work. I can see the Bluetooth icon in bar system and I see it in Bluetooth settings as Connected, it just does doesn't work.
Before u ask, I already tried going in Scanning settings and play with WiFi Scanning and Bluetooth scanning (on or off) : it doesn't change anything
I also tried in Developer Options in change Bluetooth AVRCP version from 1.6 to 1,4: doesn't change anything.
Bummer, I was planning on heavyly using emulators and games...
Does somebody has my same problem? Or maybe it's just this particular ipega gamepad having some sort of conflict with our xperia? In that case, does somebody is using some other Bluetooth Gamepad and NOT having any problems?
P. S. I'm on last build 47.1.A. 2.374
Nobody...?

Bluetooth media button not detecting

Hey all just a query, new to the forums so apologies if this isn't the correct area for this post.
So I'm running the SYGAV 10.2" Android headunit running lollipop in my car and my car doesn't have steering wheel controls to begin with, so I had an idea to buy one of the Bluetooth satechi media buttons (the eBay version lol) the idea was that all I would have to do is Bluetooth this to my headunit and stick to to my steering wheel no dramas, however for some reason my headunit can't seem to even find it while both are searching for Bluetooth devices. My phone is able to detect it so I know it's not the remote that's not working and I've tested it on an iPad as well and the controller has worked on both devices. Anyone know why it won't connect and/or does anyone have any ideas? The headunit isn't rooted either and I'm not really planning on it so that's out of the picture.
Cheers.
