New device. - Galaxy S Advance I9070 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys,
I'm going to buy a new device but now I need your thoughts on something. I'm going to buy a Galaxy S3 brand new or S3 LTE (4g) secondhanded. The major difference is that the LTE version has twice as much RAM as the original S3. Will I experience this with normal usage of phone, so no heavy games etc. Give me your thoughts guys.
Ps: Of course I will keep this device, everything for me started with this phone and now I want to see how far we can go with this phone.

To stay away from a lot of problems caused by low RAM, the standard of RAM amount in Android devices (look medium range) today is 1 GB. More RAM means more multitasking performance and no memory problems for heavy apps, going through Android system slowdown while RAM is almost full. With 1 GB you should be ok, but not away from possible risks, especially if you use "always open" apps like Facebook/Messenger, Whatsapp, Email, Exchange Services... With 2 GB you are totally out of RAM problems, also because in 2+ GB devices the Android's lowmemorykiller (it's mainly because of this when you have slowdowns in low RAM devices, Android tries to close apps to free memory but when it reach the point where cannot close other apps? Slowdown!) is almost not used anymore, it's present, but you will never reach the point where Android uses it. About LTE, if in your town there is it, you can take advantage of faster network speed.
My suggestion is to buy LTE version.
Now depends from you, if you want a brand-new device that in 6~8 months, especially after Android L came out, will do the end of Janice (look at slowdowns caused by low RAM amount) or buy used LTE version that has the double of RAM.
The future is always behind the door, technology has big news everyday, you buy a device today and tomorrow it's old. More time passes, more future apps will require and occupy more RAM, leaving away new Android versions from this speech

Maybe with his budget can buy only S3 device.
All Samsung devices suck while original, just change ROM to see it become to fly fast like a rocket.
Nexus 4 is a good phone too but battery sucks

I think buying a samsung phone second-handed would fit the budget well and give you the benefit of a great battery performance. Just 'upgrade' to any custom rom asap.
The plastic and old fashion looks also have an advantage, if you drop your phone here and there quite a lot. Replacing a screen on a slimmer new gen unibody phone would cost you a fortune!

I own a Samsung Galaxy S3 (GT-I9300, so 1 GB of ram) and runs so fast with a custom rom like cyanogenmod. About LTE version, I didn't test it.

Maybe Blu
What about a BLU brand, maybe a BLU Studio 5.0 C HD? I have not tried a BLU product but am impressed with the specs and the cost.

Already did haha nice developement in there. And Archi's CM of course About that KitKat update, I'll check it out.

I think I'll be more satisfied with the developement of the normal S3. And I really want to try Archi's CM.

Nexus 4 vs Galaxy s3

I had to do it.. It was needed specially after the iphone 5 comparison video I got a lot of pms and requests so I had both of them at home and said..why not?
Remember..this is not stock vs stock, however a ROM'd s3 but for the purpose of the video I think it works just fine
Well enjoy

Galaxy s3 is for a general population who are inclined to buy stuff form ads but have no idea what an Android is.

If it wasn't for the nex 4 I would have gotten either an gs3 or a note2. The GS3 is definitely a decent phone. Still for the money I think the nex wins.

SO DAMN TRUE!!!
And you see people saying oh look how fast it is, and the previous device was a nokia with flashlight or an iphone
WTH! -_-
For my two pence worth I had the s3 went back to my gnex awaiting the n4. I love just stock. Also I agree with the comment above about going back to operator logos on handsets. Its hideous. I know why they do it but its horrid. As for the s3 it was very very fast and more than enough for most but after 4 months of use and adding all my stuff to the device it did slow a bit. Not a huge amount by any means but for hard core users it was there plus I couldn't live with the dismal redraw issue when coming out of apps yo the home screen . I know the Gnex is far from perfect but besides battery life I would have the Gnex as my every day phone anytime. So I decided to go for the n4 as my main phone for the next year as it should perform just the same but look better and have a bit more use with the bigger battery although I know tests don't show it being much better. A little would do me. Anyway awesome video and thank you for taking the time to do it

I wouldn't necessarily agree with that. For a user like myself in the states, the lack of LTE was the deciding factor for me between the GSIII and N4. I wouldn't call myself general population and I know what Android is, lol.

Galaxy series is brilliant, but touchwiz is a piece of shyte next to stock android. Also there's no substitute for getting updates on time.
The Nex 4 looks nice, but not having a removable battery like my old EvoLTE and only having 16GB of storage without the ability to upgrade are killers for me. The GS3 development community is Legit as well. I only have 4GB left on my microSD and 3GB left on my onboard 16GB GS3. The battery and storage issues are a Fail IMHO for the Nex4. There is no way I could use it as my everyday camera, video recorder, offline music player, and document storage device. Also, when traveling out of town, you realize how much having extra batteries around makes things a whole lot easier, especially when you are using your phone as a GPS and listening to your offline music on flights (I did have the mobile battery juice device when I had the EvoLTE but it really didn't help).
I use Nova Launcher and HD Widgets so no need for TouchWiz. I will say the Sense and TouchWiz Calendar and Appointments look and function way better than the stock Android Calendar.

That is truly one of the most ignorant statements I've seen on xda in quite some time...and there have been a bunch lately. Besides having more storage, LTE, removable battery, nicer camera and more options...yea, I'll stick with my "general population" phone...Lol. I had the Galaxy Nexus for a while and just left the One X for the Note 2 (similar to the S3...that's why I chimed in)...the first thing I do with any of my Android phones (this is my 6th) is change to Nova Launcher...so while pure Android had it's advantages a year or more ago, that is far from the case now with the heavy duty processors being offered in combination with these launchers. I have debloated my phone, run Nova and also have all the little motion gadgets that are actually useful that are not options on pure Google. It's nice to be able to call someone within a text conversation just by putting the phone to your face or to have the screen automatically stay on as long as you're looking at it. These are features that I actually consider highly useful in the real world. Flame away, but with today's processing power and Samsung's openness to bootloader unlocking and dev community, I actually consider pure Google to be a step backwards FOR ME.
Glad that you guys are starting to get your phones though. I canceled after I received the bo email.

I got a SGH-I747 from Telus. Paid $0 for it.
It's "only" a dual core, but it has 2 gigs of RAM. And not a single logo on the front.
I'm running CM10 on it. With the 4.2 keyboard and camera/gallery. So maybe I don't know what Android is all about.
I might still get a N4 if Google ever allows me to buy one. But for now, I'm enjoying my S3 very much.
I can't wait for my n4 please please let it arrive this week!!

I love my Nexus and exclusively buy Nexus brand phones ever since the Nexus S, but I wouldn't call the GS3 just a device for the general consumer. Its component sheet is very good and is still considered a high end phone several months after its release. It does have some good dev support (though Samsung could be a lot more helpful with getting more info about their processors out there) and considering many chose that device after the Galaxy Nexus failed to impress when it was finally announced. Personally I prefer stock Android but there are a couple features I wouldn't mind cherrypicking from the S3 like screenshots, tap to top, and not having the screen go to sleep when you're looking at it. Having sais that, the phone I chose is definately the right one for me and I belive it to be superior to the S3. Also it will be supported longer than the S3 from Google and the dev community.

i have played around with my friend's Note 2 for a whole day and i decided to install Nova to see if stock Android isn't worth it anymore. it turns out it is. Nova + Touchwiz was not as stable or fast (by that i mean touch responsiveness) as my Galaxy Nexus. i wanted to believe it since i am paying almost as much for the Nexus 4 and i really appreciate the Note 2's battery but i just wasn't convinced.
Hmmm... I've sold my SGS2 and waited for N4 but.... SOLD OUT...
This gave me more time to think about and I've realized that getting N4 was like step back to me.. Didn't want to end up like all iPhone users... Easy to break glass all around, very limited storage and non-removable battery.. I'm Not saying N4 is bad but it's Not perfect... (to me not even close to perfect...)
Android Support will be better for N4 and the Hardware is slightly better but I'm very happy with what I've got. It runs super smooth, using GO launcher, 2GB RAM makes a huge difference comparing to S3 tho.
To me GT-I9305 FTW

[Q] [4HD]Good buy or bad buy

Hi guys
I hope you won't kill me, but I am a samsung boy. I had a Galaxy II and I was real pleased about it, until it got stolen. So it's time to pick a new phone. I have already read that the bootloader will be unlocked with the jelly bean update. Sadly I fear this might be only a rumour. So this leaves me with some questions.
Will the bootloader be unlocked?
Does this phone really contain lots of bugs?
Is this phone worth buying
Should I got to a Galaxy S3 or another phone
Thanks a lot
I loved my S2, fantastic phone!I upgraded to this phone, more on the fact it looks similar and I didnt like the look of the S3, its a good phone, but its a bit old hat now really, things change so quickly!
Neither do I. But I am curious if there might be other inspiring phones out there. Anyway.. the new upgrade of the SII is sadly enough just an embarrassment. Besides I was wondering if there were any other interesting phones arriving shortly. But I don't know about a lot about the bootloader, but I want my phone unlocked and bug free. I was kinda a flash-addict, and I do like this LG phone, The design, pricing and its hardware ofcourse. Still this phone hasn't received much love, so what should I do?
with my new CustoNexus port-rom, this model has suddenly gotten my interest back. So, i think its a good buy for the low cost you can find it for now comparing to a OneX when it was cheapest.
nexus4 or Optimus g is the only better alternative, comparing to SIII.

True But in this case, I don't want to limit my choice based only upon money. I do feel like getting the SIII, still the S4 might be just around the corner. If I buy this phone, I will have to used it for over a year and hopefully even more. Still I really need a smartphone and I want it to be excellent.
Your port is certainly a good solution to the dreadful UI made by LG. (I saw your rom already and it made me smile)
Still the future of this phone is quite unsure, so .. updates, bugs, .. bootloader, so tell me what should I do?
PS: I heard the display was great, can anyone confirm that?
Odp: [Q] [4HD]Good buy or bad buy
^ SGS3, lolnope, don't buy that piece of plastic! Buy 4X, it'll have JB and get unlocked soon (official CM10.1 is sure), or buy G... don't buy the phone with 1080p, it is just the waste of cash. HTC One X would be a good choice too, but if u want to play with custom roms without losing warranty, just choose O4X
@edit yes, it's the best screen after LG OG! And jelly bean update will solve most problems which exist now
@edit2 human's eye can't even see differences between 720 and 1080p (in phones, on tv u can see it ofc)
@edit3(lol) SGS2 is good phone imho, design is better than "three's", but i hate physical home menu in Samsung's phones.

I am quite unhandy and to be honest. .. I always whine about, NO NO MOVIE 1080p but honestly you can barely see the difference and I am sure this would be the case on a smartphone.

The only unsure thing in future is if LG will upgrade it to JB 4.2 or further. But it runs good even on ICS, and as Dexter said, only "better" system availible atm is the Snapdragon S4 Pro in Optimus G or Nexus 4.
The display is really great. I haven't done direct comparison to a SIII, but the 4X doesn't have burn-in thanks to IPS instead of AMOLED.
The bootloader unlock was confirmed by LG's Developers to a few users here. So it's still not official, but with LG nothing is official - you just get used to that after a while

S3 LTE vs nexus 4?

Hi all
I'm debating on buying either of these two phones
I play a lot of hd games so is the s3 LTE's gpu good enough (compared to nexus 4)?
The only reason i don't want to buy a nexus 4 is because of the paltry storage.......
In terms of performance does the s3 LTE match the nexus 4?
The S3 LTE is approx. 40$ more than nexus 4 where i am going to buy it and will the S3 LTE get android 5? (or even further)?
I would appreciate a quick reply as i have to buy either by tomrrow....
also
i dont mind lack of lte in nexus 4 my main worry is storage on nexus 4 and performance on s3 lte

Nexus 4. Get a big one and storage shouldn't be an issue, else you're using it wrong. I base this recommendation on your posting this on XDA, I assume you were at some point going to flash a non-standard ROM on your S3 LTE, yes? You will never get a completely stable AOSP-based ROM on an S3 LTE, this means ParanoidAndroid, AOKP, CyanogenMod. They will run, but they might drain the battery more than usual and certain features will probably never work on them due to lack of source code from Samsung. Same goes for the Exynos-based S4.
Get a Nexus 4, Sony Xperia Z or HTC One... Or buy my S3 LTE for a good price?
Lol sorry man can't buy yours but i do plan to have 3-4 hd games and considering this takes up around 8-9 gb the remaining 2-3 gb on nexus 4 isn't sufficient......
Have you tried any hd games on ur s3 lte? How do they perform? And yes like you corectly concurred i will be running cyanogenmod if i buy an s3......

4G network is the trend, you should buy galaxy s iii lte

I had the same dilemma and my choice was i9305. Development is slow and painful but other than that it's great phone. 2GB of RAM and LTE on board makes it more future proof than N4. Expandable memory is a MUST so N4 looses again.
I've played few new HD games on it and there's no lag or anything, smooth and crisp graphics. Brightness half way up and you can play up to 4hrs non-stop!
Removable battery is a good thing if you want to play games on it.....
Price is going down as well, here in UK, you can get new one from eBay for less than £300 so it cost the same as N4.
It's really up to you but I'll suggest S3 LTE.
If I hadnt been given a 4G S3 as a replacement by insurance when my orig S3 broke I would have gotten a Nexus 4, Not a fan of samsung anymore they are far to closed to development on there hardware. My friends with the Nexus 4 dont mind the lack of LTE as its plenty fast enough and with so much Wifi I guess it depends on how important LTE is to you

I agree with the others, the S3 LTE is a good phone. But it is a terrible choice if you plan on running CyanogenMod.
Rekoil and co - how is it a 'terrible' choice.. Come on dram queens.. CM10.1 is working a treat on my I9305 don't kno wwhat your on about.. Stbale, feature rich (sure a few things not present) and development is nightly just like the rest of the game.. So I ask again.. Sure the kernal tweaks/modding is where we're lacking but with the right tools you can can very good battery life and performance is blistering..
All in all only negative is the scope of development presently - this isn't to say things won't change with respect to kernal.. In short nothing critical is missing and development is churning along nicely.. A few features i'm sure you'll miss if your looking but makes up for in performance/multi tasking imo .
Lack of ROM choices is another issue sure - but if your talking CM then not really as they're all pretty much on par..
So Kernal once again.. This is the big miss with the phone.. Anyway just eager for kernal releases if possible.. Otherwise i'll still be content until the next big thing comes my way and th ephone still rocks hard core

hm, imagine when all your friends are watching youtube hd video using lte network, getting a 40 to 100 mb per sec download speed without lag and wait time for start and you are still using around 10mb download speed. waiting the video to load up , hahaha
I think at that time your would regret buying a 3g phone at the beginning.
and the truth is at some point of time in near future ( actually it is happening now in Hong Kong), the mothly charge for a 3G plan is equal to a monthly charge of 4G plan. Would you think you are stupid when you are paying a 4G plan while using only 3G network simply because you are using a damn phone that can only support 3G network?
And for the wifi, come on, be realistic, in a coffee shop , 30 people sitting there sharing the network, how fast can you get from that wifi network?
Thanks for all the input guys......sat down and calculated how much storage i would need after all the games and music and excluding videos i will have used around 12.4 GB. Considering the nexus 4 has only 12.9 GB storage available to the user I will mostly be going for the s3 LTE.....
I'm sorry if I'm coming off as annoying but rekoil is cyanogen really that bad on s3? That would be a major put-off......because I can't stand touchwiz.....and right now on my mini almost every custom ROM like AOKP and CM has one problem or the other....
Oh and anguslaw 4G doesn't really matter to me we don't even have it yet here in india :-/

And what about the graphics glitches in keyboard and other places that will literally never be fixed? TV out will also never be fixed.
I'll be honest, I'm going off what I've seen on my friends non-LTE device (I9300, pretty much the same device apart from the modem), I personally cannot run AOSP-based on my device because if I run anything other than Perseus kernel my baseband doesn't find an IMEI, perhaps this has pronounced my dislike for Samsung (in my opinion, something like the modem configuration shouldn't be so easily breakable/writable). But everything I've said is true, all the good developers want nothing to do with the Exynos4 platform, codeworkx happened to have ported to I9300, making I9305 very easy to support, but he wont even accept a free I9305 at this point, because he is fed up with Samsung.
I will mention this again because I feel it is an important point. I very much like the hardware, it is simple in design and feature rich, this is a phone I would have stayed with for several years... if Samsung had released source code for the platform in a timely manner. At this point I am probably going to sell my I9305 soon and use my old Desire S until I can get ahold of an Xperia Z or something. All the sources for that device were released BEFORE the device even hit the market, now THAT is good support.
And... "development is churning along nicely"? This is literally all that is happening in terms of development for AOSP-based ports. If you know anything about programming you can tell that those commits are not development so much as fixing configuration mistakes and applying code loaned from other devices.
Although this is interesting... apparently the Galaxy S4 in my market will not be using the Exynos Octa, but rather a Snapdragon 600. This might be a pretty good contender in that case! At the moment I'm personally considering HTC One, Xperia Z and Galaxy S4 (but ONLY if it comes with Snapdragon 600).
I would go for a nexus 4. Brilliant processing and graphics rendering and no lack of roms or development for the next 3 years atleast. Also there is something called enjoying one game at a time. In my experience I have never liked playing more than one good game At a time on my phone. Nor would u b wasting your time removing the crap that Samsung puts on it's phones. Just my view, yours may be different

Thanks
Thanks for the input guys. I'm now decided I'm going to buy nexus 4. I'm also thinking because of lack of additional storage. But i have nexus 7. I can play all the games that I put there. My friend let me hold his note 2 and I was asked to root it and install rooms or kernel. I searched in xda and read threads. I'm a little disappointed because of few custom roms. I'm really looking for aokp rom but it's not stable on note 2 I think this applies to all Samsung phones except for Google edition?
If you're into tweaking and want custom roms, high performance phone go for nexus 4 and leave that additional storage, removable battery, LTE, and touch wiz!
Seems you made your choice. They are both equally good phones, just in different areas. The nexus 4 is faster, nicer and has a superior screen. As for stock android ... well I hate it - it is faster, but I guess it's a matter of preference. One advice - when you pick up your n4 take the phone as you would talk and listen for any noise from the earpiece - they tend to hiss a lot and if it does, ask for another one. Also look for a rev 2.0 N4 - they made some nice small changes in the design, google it.
Even if you will get a Nexus 4 i still think that S3 LTE is the way to go for what you need it, yes Nexus 4 has better development and better GPU, but S3 LTE you get more space, you can get a spare battery, better screen for gaming (the home buttons are a bit of a problem at first at least when playing some games).
So by me i'd say strictly for gaming:
Nexus 4: 1) better GPU (not that better in real games only in benchmarks).
S3 LTE: 1) more space (you will need it the more the game will evolve)
2) spare battery a must for gamers on smartphones (or a big battery)
3) games seem better on Amoled screens (but that's just my opinion, and no problems whit the buttons).
4) better sound if you use headphones
But if you want to mod the phone go for Nexus 4 v2.0.:fingers-crossed:
I would like to know how is the radio/antena quality of Nexus 4. Galaxy Nexus has terrible reception compared to S3. GPS chip is a second class (still talking about GN.) too. I got a feeling that they build Nexus devices to be crap intentionally, so that all software which is able to run on it, flies on other high end devices . Regarding Note 2, I am not sure what the guy is talking about. There are plenty of ROMs and support for it. It is a great peace of hardware IMO, and my favorite one. It always comes up to, what for do you actually need/use a device. I want to be able to work with it. For me that means writing emails, doing some system administration (I use PaderSync for ssh for example.), sometimes working even with Excel sheets, browsing the web, and making pictures of documents and singing them (stopped doing this.) and for all this I need a bigger screen and resolution, always good reception and decent camera. I also like colors of amoled screens .
So you decide depending on what is important for you, and check the value for money ratio, of course.

But if you are not in a hurry, why not wait a little and consider other phones? Xperia Z has great support, sources are published, it's a nice device, HTC One and S4 will get Nexus like versions. So depending on how do you intend to acquire your device (contract or free/unlocked) maybe you will be able to get one of newer devices?

N4 has good reception, high class gps and amazingly sharp screen. It's fast as hell , boots in seconds and loads apps instantly. UI is very responsive (butter) Camera is also decent, but not better than sgs3 and the led is weaker.
Only drawbacks are speakerphone, in call quality, lack of space and the terrible vanilla os with the onscreen buttons and ugly and very uncomfortable UI (personal opinion). Oh and that battery... Well it's not intended for gaming , it's a developer phone and ! If I was new to android I'd get the nexus, but the OEM skins actually make for a better usability ( s planner, better phone ui)

You like TW ! I don't like S Planer because it forces you to use Samsung Calendar, and doesn't have 2 way sync with Google calendar, what I use for work too.
Speaking about launcher, Nova is my preference. Simple but powerful. Should be the Google stock one.

[Q] Which new phone?

I have, for the last 2 years had a mini (which im still gonna keep), and i can buy a new phone now. My budget is 25000(maybe another 3000-4000 extra also)
Which phone would you recommend?
I researched a bit, and found nexus 4 really good. But will it be available now in may 2013 in India (bangalore) in ordinary stores or only online on flipkart and stuff? and what are the cons? I have read that its display is not too good... any other major factors i should be aware about?
Also can anyone recommend any other good phone in this budget? No need for links, ill find out about it myself; i just need the name.
Also I'd like something better for gaming and internal memory(lol as all mini users would like) size isnt really a issue, just its should be above 4 inches.
And which nexus is the best one? theres a google and an lg one, im getting confused...
Oh, and i would like to thank everybody on this thread for being so helpful, you were all wonderful!
thanks a lot!
For samsung You can increase budget by 2500 rupees and buy SIII on flipkart for 27500...Else HTC has some flagships but i dont trust other companies much...

Nexus 4 everything what u want a good design , a phone from google side which will give fastest updates , and yet even a popular phone on XDA
I am also the same with u, want to buy a new device, after exploring everything i have decided to go with nexus 4
Don't hesitate, screen is vry responsive, great dev support and very famous device
Dont waste ur time book n4 believe me u will never regret
Don't go for s3, its just waste of money, i have lost faith in Samsung after bought my mini, look wise n4 is much better than s3, glass back is premium look dont waste money on samsung plastic
I m pretty sure out of 27500, samsung is charging atleast 3k for thier touchwhiz ui which is not worth it, u can always apply tw theme on n4
At last i would say, u r lucky enough to buy n4, i cannot buy it for atleast 2 more months cuz of my bad exam result :'(

thanks for your replies!
Me too. I bought a Oneplus One and used it for one month. But it was too big and the sound quality was really not as good as the GS1. So I sold it and I am back to the SGS1. Small, light, great sound quality.
If I earn cash i will buy a Lumia 630 or 820 ;D

I got a HTC One mini. It started to break on me after 3 months! Took HTC 3 more months to admit it was their fault. Then got a HTC One as a replacement, but after the crap service I had from HTC I sold that and came back to my 4 year old Galaxy 1 which is still working great! And compared to higher spec phones is still a beast! Long live the Galaxy 1!!!
Also S1 has a huge dev section and still kicking with some good devs pumping out some great work!
If I do upgrade again I'm thinking Galaxy S2 for the extra RAM. Really cheap to get off eBay. Spending 400+ £ for the latest phone doesn't make sense unless your rich or want to play the latest 3D games..

I am still running my S1 as my backup phone. It is 4 years old. I am using it now, as my main phone is broken. I have installed CyanogenMod 11.2 M9. It is a little slow, but still works fine.
im using a galaxy s i9000 too. its internal memory is dead, but i installed the ROM using a external memory card. everything works fine. running kitkat 4.4.2 . i love the i9000 display.
Use it as my wife's main phone. Running MIUI. Still works very well.
Started to use GS again. Bought Huawei Ascend p6 and its gps is worse . Dont know how they managed to do that. Huaweis kitkat roms are horribly buggy too, and thats why I switched back to the good old GS1. Might go back to p6 if they release a real update to kitkat. Got bored of the upgrade downgrade cycle.
GS1 CM nightlies work much better, no crippling bugs so far. And ive been using it for years.
I've started using my SGS phone again.. After installing Mackay ROM, everything feels much smoother.
About to update to KitKat now
I still use it as my main phone. I want to add the galaxy s2 or s3 depending on how one can run android L on them.
Honestly I stopped using it in April because I bought myself one SGS3 (rocking!!!) and gave it to my son. But it is running 4.3 and the kid is happy as ever with it. I had it since it was released and love it since then!
It is still my only phone, but the only reason I still do so is because I transitioned to small tablets (both Nexus 7 and now the Galaxy Tab S 8.4) as my main mobile computing devices. The only thing I do on my phone is calling as well as occasionally chatting (even though I do that mainly on my tablet too) and it provides data for the wifi only tablet.
Even with that limited use I gonna buy a used Galaxy S3 LTE (or better) before this year ends. The S1 is just to damn slow for me and a little more screensize will probably make me chat a bit more on the phone instead of taking the tablet with me all the time (even though the later will remain my main device).
Is my spare wheel
