[Q] Broke my x8 help

hi, after installing the rom launcher app to my phone i accidently flashed it for the wrong phone type, now i cant start the phone, it just hangs on the sony erricson screen. is it possible to fix this?

please tell me you installed xrecovery. if so then boot into xrecovery and restore a backup
option 2​use pc companion to restore.

hi, i had x recovery installed on my x8 which was rooted, i had upgraded to froyo bread but was having issues with the camera, so i dowloaded a new rom, and tried xrecover to install the new rom. but kept getting md5 checksum errors.
i have just downloaded flashtools to try and re write the firmwear, but it wont see my phone.
its stuck at the sony erricson boot screen, and the flash tool is reporting the phone has usb de bugging turned off, so i guess it wont let me re flash the firmwear

ok. got pc companion trying to update the phone, fingers crossed

p.s i think it says md5 sum error because something was rewrote. title maybe?

hello again, thank you for your help. my phone is now opperational again.
i used pc companion to re write a copy of the original firmwear, and everything is now working fine, just as it was when i purchased it new. phew.
cant thank you guys enough.
i was actually trying to change my os when this happened. from froyo to gingerbread. the version i downloaded used md7?? (i am new to all this and dont fully understand) but my phone was looking for md5, something like that.
got the fun job of rooting it again now lol.
what is the best android version for the x8 that still alows for the use of the camera?

lol, it all helps, just wish i could remember how to install xrecovery, cant remember where i downloaded it, i had the individual files, but all i can find is the apk now, and the forums are awaysh with methods of installing the apk, but i cant get any of them to work. i cant find the original thread i used to to get it installed, and cant remember what i used to change the permisions of the files lol. having a bad memory day.

Flashtool?
- Grab it, enable USB-Debugging on your phone, connect it to the computer.
- Press "Ask root perm" and keep an eye at your phone - you need to confirm a superuser request.
*Achievement unlocked*
- Press the now unlocked "xRecovery" button to inject xRecovery
And remember that you can also root your phone from Flashtool.
PC Companion... Update Service... Hah!... Useless crap since we got Flashtool... Sony Ericsson doesn't release any more updates for the X8 anyway, so it's kinda useless as the Android drivers can be installed manually without the need to install PCC or SEUS.

i Reflash it with nokia care suit but my problem is not solve.......so i went to nokia care but they could not resolve the problem and kept my mobile and said that come after 20 days

i had same problem and i solved with this method...

Please help my nokia x2 software 2.1.0.13 ..I installed Google services and root...after I turned it off it just keep restarting..I flash it with Nokia care suite with V( 2.1.0.11 and 2.1.0.12 and 2.1.0.13 ) but all these versions have the same issue and no use just keep restaring.. I tried to wipecash and reset factory.. I also used nokia software updater.. thanks in advance

I think you should take one more try on 2.1.0.13.. and confirm it thAT this is 2.1.0.13....

I have had similar issue, my phone sometimes started after leaving my phone for several minites. But there was no network. I googled and found that this happens because of corrupted imei partition. Gave it to nokia care they fixed it free under warrenty.

I downgraded it with V 2.0.0.11 but after selecting language it hangs on (please wait) then restart again..I downloaded Rm-1013 2.1.0.13 059V782 via (nokia software updater for retail) and just has boot loop...do you suggest me a soultion please? thanks

Oh, maybe cuz with( V 2.0.0.11 ) it starts normaly but when after selecting language it hangs on (please wait)for a long time then reboot but when I flashed it with (2.1.0.12 and 2.1.0.13) it complete sucessfully ...but loop boot again....please tell me how to fix it. If you already know .Cuz I have no Nokia Care

Mine's not starting.
My phone was stuck on bootloop so I tried to flash it, nut in during the process, the phone just went off. Now it's not even booting into recovery. Help please! All it shows is QHSUSB_BULK in my devices and printers. Anything useful would be really appreciated.

install Nokia Care Suite Select (NO CONNECTION) and uncheck Automatic product selecting plug in your phone then flash it..

I tried already. I didn't work. My phone isn't even responding to any thing I do again. Doesn't come on. All it shows is QHSUSB_BULK in devices and printers. I also can't flash because my phone doesn't show the Nokia logo that allows me start the flashing process.

I have had the same problem with my nokia x2 About 2 months ago.I had tried everything you mentioned above but nothing worked.The handset kept restarting and there were no signal on both of my sim cards.So, i unrooted my device using nokia xtools and gave it to nokia care.I told them that the problem started after trying to update it
Then they replaced my x2's whole motherboard under warrenty.It took almost 2 month to get my x2 Back and now it's working fine.
Best of luck bro...trust me there's no other way to fix this without nokia care.

I have the same issue and i can't find any rom , i even contacted both infinix mobile and the vendor but they didn't provide any solution.

There are still chance to make your phones boot. But I will need these info first. A friend of mine have one these too, but it's HARD bricked (can't even power on, although computer detects it)
How bad are your bricks ?
HARD or SOFT ?
Can you still boot to recovery ?
How did the bricks happen ?

Mine is Hard bricked too by flashing it using Sp flash tool, and accidentally checked format without having having all the files, i can't power it but the computer detect it.
When i tried to flash it with one of the 2 ROM from infinix mobile website, the SP Flash tool, tell me that the ROM is not the right one.
Did your friend found a solution?

No, we need a working Hot 2 LTE even if it's just soft-bricked.
I think he ended up selling it at a repair shop LOL

You need to root your fone...install twrp as your recovery and backup the ROM by ticking all checkboxes

Bootloop problem of nokia x2 after installing play store

Hi everyone . Sorry for the earlier post stating the use of cracked app . I will buy apps always.
B.T.W I have a question. I tried to install play store on my new nokia x2 ver.2.1.0.12 using nokia x2 tools and after rebooting it went into bootloop. My friend has a nokia x2 ver2.0.0.11 but he never faced such a problem while installing play store and is smoothly running it. Please help me to install play store in my nokia x2 . I have tried to manually install it also by copying the essential filesin system\app folder after repair of my phone as it was under warranty, but it again gone in bootloop. Please help!!!!!!!!. Thanks in advanced.

I'm not much experienced but I think u should flash a clean stock rom using Nokia software recovery tool and then use Advanced Nokia X2 tools v5.20 by symbuzzer. My version was also 2.1.0.12 and I never had a problem.

Can u tell me what u did in a little detail? I mean did u rooted first or directly installed play store or if deodexed etc. And u said u flashed stock rom, u did it by flashing zip thorugh mobile recovery or by nokia software recovery on pc?
