Well, as all of you can see from my signature,my XZ's mobo is screwed.The baseband is not detected.
And what am i gonna do with a mobile phone that cant make PHONE CALLS!#@#[email protected]$
I want to get it replaced.
I live in India
So,How much is it gonna cost in Rupees. if i get it done by Sony
Also,are any of you guys willing to SELL me your C6603(or any model) motherboard on eBay.IN

Its very difficult to get camera for x8..i tried searching ut no luck..
So any estimate guys? if i give i it to a sony service center

I dont have a sony repair center in my country only in Macedonia already e-mailed them hope they will reply something positive and hope that we will get our high end phones rollin again
I searched already at rounded.com but they dont have mainboards for the xz1 anyway thanks for trying to help me out

So I bought an HTC one, international version two months back from eBay India. (It has no warranty)
Recently, the charging port on the device has malfunctioned. HTC won't replace it for obvious reasons
and my seller has no hardware warranty. Is there a way in which I can get it repaired/replaced.
All suggestions are welcome (Even do-it-yourself ones).

Im sure there are many hardware repair stores in India. Locate one nd give it fr repair. However, im sure that it will b quite expensive nd may require a motherboard replacement.

I live in New Delhi. Expensive as in 1000 - 2000 Rs, or even more?

That actually depends on how bad the problem actually is. If the full motherboard needs to be replaced, then it will cost u much more than 5000 INR. So i wud suggest that u show it to a repair shop nd ask the quotation before actually asking them to do it.
However, im baffled as to why HTC wont do it themselves. If there's no warranty, it won't be done fr free. But i live in Dubai nd here HTC outsources their hardware services to another company, who does all kinds of repairs.
Keep this in mind, HTC has listed quite a few service centres in Delhi on their website

Check wat they have to say. Ive got many devices repaired by these local hardware technicians in Mumbai. I dont think IT support is any worse in New Delhi

Actually, i did go the HTc center, they said there was a problem with the micro USB alone, but as this was an international version, they didnt have the parts for it.

Ur only other option would be to go to a local hardware technician.

are you sure that Xperia Z can b repaired ? why asking means one of my friend has a c6602 and its damaged . display problem. and the service center guys told him that he have to pay 18k and they will provide new mobile. becuase xperia z can not be repaired.. service center told like this.. thats why i am asking

www.rounded.com is the only place I know of, but they're not cheap. They give prices in INR, so should ship to India. You could contact them and ask about shipping to your location.

Of course you can repair it. It's just not as easy as usual phones because of the water resistance (everything is glued to the frame).
See this thread for a guide on replacing the screen assembly.

This is the only firm that i could find to purchase a replacement gasket to reseal the back cover,for the sake of £3.00 i couldn't see the point in skimping, to have peace of mind that the phone was sealed properly

Remember, i'm not in USA, i live it Tunisia, so is not so far from Poland. I always buy things from Germany, France, Spain, UK...etc and I have never encountered any shipping problems or high charges!

Sure but all parts inside like speakers, headphones port etc. are removed. I checked local post and if they accept it as letter not package, shipping will cost around 5$. I can give You frame that looks like new for another 5$.

well, i was trying to prey under the LCD , excited for replacing the new frame that i'd get from you, but the lcd cracked, i think i didn't heat up well. i know using a hairdryer was not the right solution, so i checked the prices of LCD's and it's too much to invest for a replacement, so i decided to let go about it... well the PCB is still functional and i'd sell it for you, but i need to check how much the shipping fees, if you wait me until monday because the postal office doesn't work tomorrow, then i let you know. concerning the price of the mainboard, since you were generous with me i would ask you to suggest a price and i'd sell it for you
