I have created this kernel because I needed something simple, but also features.
PLEASE NOTE: This kernel is intended for ROMs based on 10.5.A.0.283/292 only. Do not flash it on any AOSP firmware.
Please don't post bug reports if you don't use this kernel with a 10.5.A.0.283/292 ROM. They'll be ignored.

How to report a bug?
Include the following in your bug report:
The ROM you are currently using + a link to the ROM's thread
A log, preferably dmesgs or kmsgs (use Google to find out how to pull these from your device)
The version of HodorKernel you use (=date, e.g. 20141104)
Bug reports not meeting these requirements will be ignored.

But it works extremely well on Xzkernel v26 and yes there was indeed some issues like, the phone will wake up itself when in pocket but it all works fine now on v26. No one is complaining about that anymore...

I had still huge probs with V26 and reverted back to stock kernel therefore!
I think the best solution would be a version with and one without dt2w,
but that`s not our decision!
so far this kernel so cool and stable
There is a bug: when you change GPU frequency in TricksterMOD it's reverting to 400 MHz
Kernel works like a charm and battery life is great!

Did you uninstall xz kernel via aroma first?
It might be the WiFi drivers that come with xz kernel and you must uninstall the kernel via aroma installer first to get a clean base for the new kernel.

Also, please do not include double tap to wake, really, it is the only rason than I revert to stock from XZKernel, it works for people than keeps their phone on the table, but for many others than have to use it in the pocket is a pawnfull feature. :/

For some reason, after flashing, the kernel does not install.
I reboot to twrp, dirty flash WW134 ROM, flash supersu, flash xposed, flash twrp and flash this kernel. Wipe cache and d.cache.
Reboot and it stock kernel.
I tried 2nd time. Flash kernel in twrp and it still stock kernel.

Okay, did you have xposed installed? Could you please try to remove xposed and just flash the kernel without it? This Anykernel thing seems to be the only available option...

Q: Synapse says no UCI detected

A2: If you had random reboot without undervolting, then make a proper log please. Which means I need a last_kmsg from right after the reboot.
You create the log by using this command in adb shell or a terminal or use any 3rd party app like Syslog.

I just flashed the kernel with flashify apk and after the reboot all the icons works in the opposite way. If I push the icon on the left side open the apk of the right side. It happens the same with the TWRP recovery. I tried to recover with the copy before the flash and nothing resolves. I have reinstalled the rom totally clean and nothing changes. G920F

Does anyone know how I can use N0G33K with Magisk hide module? Arter Kernel works for me with Magisk and Im able to use Pokemon go. But with N0G33K Kernel I cant play anymore. Any help? Im using a S6 Edge 925F.

It's left at its stock values. You'll need to specify the overclock, the step is enabled but not selected by default. I use Kernel Auditor with SuperSU and BusyBox to modify the settings, and so far it's worked just fine.

Hard to describe. After play 30 second normal sound. After that 30second some distortion. Distortion like sizzle, like cable tv when it lost signal.
Then return to normal sound.

AFAIK system changes are needed to properly support an EAS enabled kernel and without them you won't see the power saving benefits.

i tried guyver 2.3 and it also stuck in mi logo, well i guess its time to update to n bootloader
! This kernel is based on treble tree,so make sure you are on a treble ROM !
【! From R20 , it only support 4.4 compatible ROM since we are having 4.4 kernel !】
! Some profiles from /vendor will be replaced so if you want to fully uninstall this kernel,just dirty flash your current ROM!
If you are coming from other kernels,better to do a dirty flash on your current ROM to avoid any strange problems

I can say with certain flashing this kernel is safe at all.Kernel will not go on OC freqs if u dont choose OC freqs by using tools like KA(from R12).So in fact u can use this kernel as a non-OC kernel Lol.
But the kernel has a lot of settings that could cause unstable like high OC freqs (2.53/2.46/780/2.0),so its strongly recommend to test the freq you want to use before you set it for daily use.Just lock min and max freq to it and see if theres kernel panic or crashes.If everything is fine,you can choose it for daily use.Or u can try to raise voltage for it and test again.
For every device:
OC 2.26+1.68+624 is stable
For most device:
OC 2.34+1.76+710 is stable
For some device:
OC 2.41+2.0(1.86)+780 is stable
For little device:
OC 2.5+2.0+780 is stable
So if this kernel is good at performance or battery depends on ur settings.Default settings(1.8+1.3+624) prefer battery + smooth.

From R20 , it only support 4.4 compatible ROM since we are having 4.4 kernel. So go to flash a ROM with 4.4 kernel build in(Latest arrow,aex,etc.),or you ll get problem with video playback and usb.

Flashed the new kernel (R6) over AEX 5.4 and Cosmic OS but still no sound from the speaker....
Also after the phone boots when I try to enter the sound option the config hangs on black screen

Permissive SELinux perhaps? Seems like there's historically been an "oh hey here's a new release for Z2 Pro... oh sound doesn't work... okay, set permissive SELinux, now it works... then figure out something with DD3Boh/cosmedd/davidevinavil about how they got it to work with enforcing" cycle every time a new ROM/kernel comes out, if memory serves.

Here the sound also dont work with SELinux on Permissive....
