Aroma Version:
Its the Big Daddy of all the other versions and the most ideal version to install for a person who knows what he is doing. It contains almost everything Sony has to provide along with all the other Modifications, Tweaks, Fixes, Addons, Applications, Kernels, Recoveries, Mods, Bootanimations, Glass Apps, Google Apps, Bloatware Removal Script etc. The main thing that makes the Aroma Version perfect is that everything in the Installer is optional for the user to install, He/She can either install everything or nothing for a clean install. It gives you complete freedom to configure the ROM and your Device exactly the way you like.Minimal Version:
Minimal Version is a new version which has been specially optimized keeping the following things in consideration:
Lowest Possible Size
Battery Friendly
More and More Free RAM
All the Possible Bloatware Removed
No Additional Apps (Except the Most Required ones)
Optimized for best Performance, Speed and Smoothness

The Minimal Version contains All the Modifications, Tweaks, Fixes but Only one Kernel and Bootanimation, No Glass Apps and No Google Apps either. It does not have any undervolting script pre installed but all the Bloatware is already removed from it. If someone wants to install something from the Aroma Version He/She should download the Addons Pack and if someone wants any of the deleted apps that were deleted while the Bloatware Removal, He/She can get them from the Official FTF or from Aroma Version.
This Version is Ideal for those who like a very very clean Install and like to customize and add everything exactly What and How they want. The only things left out in the Minimal Version are the Core Apps without which you would loose the entire feel of Sony Xperia Z and without them there would be no pleasure in installing it.Addons Pack:
The Addons Pack has everything in the Aroma Version except the ROM itself. It is being provided for Minimal and Official Versions because they do not have anything from Aroma Version included in them. So, In case if someone wants to install something from Aroma Version, He/She should use the Addons Pack and as its based on Aroma to, so naturally He/She will have all the options with what to install and what not. This Pack will not only work with my ROM, or any other Stock Based ROM alone, it will work with all other ROMs too (Ofcourse, The ones that support the Included Kernels).

Locked Bootloader:
Install Oficial FTF for Firmware 10.3.1.A.2.67/74.
Root Your Phone Using Towel Root or DooMLord's Toolkit or Whatever You Like.
Backup TA Partition.
Copy the ROM to External SDCard.
Install the Latest [NUT]'s XZDual Recovery for Xperia Z.
Reboot into Recovery (If you already have a working Recovery, Skip the above steps).
Make Sure to do a Wipe Data/Factory Reset before Installing the ROM.
Start the Installation. (Install Zip >> Choose Zip for External SDCard).
Switch Off Your Phone (Do Not Reboot). Select No to Disable Flash Recovery Confirmation.
Skip to the Last Step if you are already on Firmware - 10.5.A.0.230/233.
Flash the compatible FTF (230/233) with Flashtool to get compatible Kernel and Baseband. Remember to exclude everything except Kernel and Baseband.
Reboot and Enjoy.

Its always recommended but if you are on the same firmware the rom is based upon, its not required.

I think i've got a bootloop at the RAZRUI REVOLUTION boot up screen . D: I flashed it correctly , wiped dalvik cache , wiped cache , wipe apps , even wipe battery status . :C
I guess neko will be really busy with thos ROM coz this needs alot of improvement when comparing to what neko is capable of waiting for updates

-Update newest FW (244)
-Update Kernel only to FW 423
-Used DoomLord easy rooting kit V18 to root the device
-Update Kernel only back to FW 244
-Install DualRecovery for LockedBootloader
-Complete Wipe of Internal Storage
-Install Excelsus Rom V4.0.0
-Full startup of device

How to update EXCELSUS Z when it gets an update:
1) Download the update and move to storage
2) Reboot in recovery
3) Flash update like normal
4) Wipe only dalvik cache (avoid wiping cache!)
5) Reboot

Per app DPI Instructions - make your apps use tabletui mode!:
1) Download xposed framework , install it and press install/update when you are in the app and reboot
2) Download + install App Setting Modules
3) Go into xposed installer > modules and tick app settings and reboot
4) Go into app settings and then scroll down until you found the app you want to make into TabletUI mode
5) Set the DPI (240 is recommended for standard tabletui) and then set "screen" (dp) to 1000x1600
6) Tap on "save"
7) Go into the app you changed and everything should look like TabletUI now!
Fix call button in dialer bug:
1) Download xposed framework, install it and press install/update when you are in the app and reboot
2) Download + install app settings module
3) Go into xposed installer > modules and tick app settings and reboot
4) Search for SemcPhone
5) change dpi to 480
6) save changes and it should be fixed now

I have some tips for Xposed Framework and apps that is not optimized for lower DPI settings:
Switch the Sony apps like camera, contacts, dialer to 480 DPI (provided that they are the same as in the stock ROM).
I have noticed that the Sony apps works best with that setting, they don't handle multi DPI very well. Other apps is great in tablet mode.
My own settings are those:

File Manager HD 240, 1280

I have not tried the 1024 x 600 mode since 1280 gives the proper tablet UI. Those settings are what I use and they work very well but I am on ROMAur 2.6 though. I use similar settings on my Note II and also when I use Paranoid Android.
I can also recommend Tablified Market as a decent way of finding tablet apps. Google Play in tablet mode is also very nice.
Those settings I listed are for the App Settings modul for the Xposed Framework.

I don't know how you unlocked bootloaders flash it so I can't help you sorry
I already stated in the OP that it is not stable and has a few bugs...

It's still pretty buggy and I was planning on doing a normal, stable XZ ROM, if I do then I'll ditch the idea of this rom...
If you guys want me to release a stable version which does not have tablet mode, I may do an easy OTA update in the next version (And change the name of the rom to something else)

yes, you can set any apps per dpi in App Settings Module (In OP) so if I switch back to PhoneUI Mode in the next version, all of you will still be able to choose per app dpi settings

What do you mean?
Are you downloading via pc? it's recommended you download from PC...
I have decided to switch back to PhoneUI with stock 480dpi because it is the optimal dpi for our device + all the other software in the rom
But that doesn't mean you can never have Tablet UI, Xposed Framework with App Settings module will still allow you to modify per app dpi (Like in AOSPA) so you can still do things like that

yeah it could be that I screwed up with the upload last night...
Will try to upload the new version of the ROM ASAP today already got all the PhoneUI Features back...
The new name for this rom will be EXCELSUS Z

I just want to present you my first Rom. My aim was to provide you a very customizable, fast, stable and battery friendly Rom which has everything included one may need. If you don't like stuff you can disable it during the installation process. After doing many tweaking and modding to the stock rom the Nightmare was born!

Change your Pull-Down Background:
●Download the Background_Changer.zip from #3
●pick your desired image(resoulution: 1280x720) and rename it to notification_panel_bg.9.png
●open the zip and navigate to: /vrtheme/system/app/SystemUi.apk/res/drawable-xhdpi and replace your image with the one found there(it's a simple black image. So if you want to revert back to stock just flash the not-modifed zip)
●copy to your phone, flash it and enjoy

●on stock video player there's no picture while in portrait-mode(landscape is working fine) while audio is working. Please use another video player until it's fixed(or only watch videos in landscape). I'm working on a solution! (only present on the transparent themes!! Stock theme with mods is NOT affected.)

Reboot into CWM
Take a Nandroid Backup
If this is the first time you're installing 'Nightmare' perform a Factory Reset(if you're using Philz touch recovery I suggest you to perform a 'clean up before Rom flash)
Install the Rom and configure it to your likings
Reboot
Ps There's no need to wipe caches, the installer will do it for you
Additional Notes:
To receive OTA Updates just open the UpdateMe app once! You'll get registered automatically and will receive a push message once a new version of the ROM is out
Do NOT install any mods which mess up with "entropy"!!(eg 'seeder') This will break the included CrossBreeder Mod!
Do NOT use any Ad-Blocking app(eg AdAway)!! An Ad-Block is already included in the Rom! Using such an app will break the Ad-Blocking
During the Setup of the Viper4Android Mod choose ARM v9 with Neon! Also enable "FX compatible mode" in the settings!
[*]Bla bla bla, you flash this on your own risk! bla bla bla, no one is responsible for what you're doing!!
[*]Use CWM to install the ROM!! Themes won't apply if you're using TWRP!! If you don't have CWM installed yet grab it here!
If your keyboard is laggy after a clean installation(means performing a fullwipe before flashing) goto the keyboard settings and disable all the pre-selected languages. Now enable only the languages you want to use and the lag is gone!
If your apps disappear after a reboot reflash the ROM, but do NOT check the zipalign script in the Aroma.
Some Tips:
'Greenify' battery hungy apps(eg facebook, maps.. For system apps the donation version is needed!) to save lots of battery!
Window Animations are Set to 0.5 for a faster experience.. If you don't like it you can set them to 1.0 under developer options
You can disable Ad-Block with the following command in Terminal emulator:

and re-enable it with:

su -c /system/etc/CrossBreeder/ENABLE_ADBLOCK
If you wanna change the theme without re-flashing the rom you can find the themes as stand-alone package in the Download section
If you need access to developer options tap on the build number 7 times
For better battery set brigthness to "auto" or keep it at half
How-To report a Bug:
If you experience any kind of bug please describe it exactly! Also mention any additional mods you've installed! Maybe also post some Screenshots if they describe the bug better.
If you have a FC(=Force Close) of an app(if it's an app delivered by the ROM. If it's a 3rd party app write its developer!) do the following:
Download and install Cat-Log
Start the logging
Make the action which leads to the force close
Stop logging in the Cat-Log app and send the log to me
Now I'm able to fix it! (I'm NOT able to fix something if you only write "XYZ gimme a FC" I NEED that log!!

Well that depends on your usage! I get ~4 hours screen on time with E-Mail Sync every 15 minutes and massive Whatsapp/Facebook usage(mobily data), gaming and browsing.. If you don't sync your mails often and only using Wifi you're getting more screen on time..
Just try out your self... For one it might be 6 hours and 2 days runtime while it's only 4 hours and 1 day runtime for somebody else..
There are so many factors which are having an impact on your battery running time that really nobody can provide you an effective answer to that
But I promise you that you'll get a very good battery life with massive performance on my rom!

Thanks^^ I'm glad you like it Powersaving mode is useless^^ Just makes the screen look worse and saves only ~15 minutes screen time

Well,this rom certainly don't look or behave like someones first ever ....everything is smooth and responsive. I didn't test all things but for now it is really awesome. installation went fine i just flashed SuperSu 1.8 zip and didn' t have root issues. Good work @SkywalkerZ...Thank you very much

Thanks for the feedback..as soon as a new Official firmware will be out (expecting MK6, Not from dump) ill update the rom, fix that stupid issues(hopefully) and add a few more things

Well that makes this rom perfect for me, because I don't use any of that stuff,i don't even use any of googles services also....I like light roms with few fancy things like transparent accuweather but nothing more. thanks again(spent my 8 thanks for today)

i dont do all this for money..i do this cause i love android and i am just 15 (LOL) so just appreciate my work by hitting the thanks button(Once or how many times you guys want) it will just make me happier and motivate me to do more(Now i am actually learning how to unpack kernel and add init.d support my self and maybe some tweaks if i am succesfull)

So far so good, got a lot of my apps up and running. Phone feels very fast and very snappy, more so than the other non-debloated ROMs out there. Now to test out the battery life. Only issue I had was that my root was broken after flashing, so I had to re-root with SuperSU 1.80. Overall i think its pretty good for a first time ROM great work!

Thanks mate and i know that issue was reported by me in 2nd post.ill fix that hopefully in next version which will b MK6(Official)but lets see and do let me know ur review on battery life as well

The one you linked is version 1.65, while the latest is 1.80 and I recall Chainfire recommending most people to update as it includes some important security fixes on a rooted device.

To install this ROM follow these instructions EXACTLY:
Boot into Philz recovery
Select "Wipe Data/Factory reset"
Select "Clean to Install a New Rom"
Select "Yes I will install a new ROM".
Do the above twice.
Select Power Options in Philz
Reboot Recovery.
Then flash this ROM.
NOTE: Clean wipe twice. Some users have reported force closes when this installs. I have wiped twice every time and have yet to have any force close issues upon installing.

Installation Notes:
turbo Z-RAM first run **New for v06**
1. Click on the turbo Z-RAM app in the app drawer.
2. Grant it permission in Super-SU
3. Select Baked in Z-RAM *NOT* Module Z-RAM. Press the back button.
4. Close the app by pressing the X in the lower right hand corner.
5. Reopen the app.
Installing this ROM
1. Boot into Philz recovery
2. Select "Wipe Data/Factory reset"
3. Select "Clean to Install a New Rom"
4. Select "Yes I will install a new ROM".
5. Do the above twice.
6. Select Power Options in Philz
7 .Reboot Recovery.
8. Then flash this ROM.
Installing/configuring Dolphin Browser
1. Install Adobe Flash player from here.
2. Click on the Dolphin Jetpack icon in your app drawer. Not the Dolphin Browser. This will automatically install Jetpack in Dolphin and open the browser.
3. Swipe through the setup and click start. You are now at the home screen.
4. Click the dolphin button in the lower left hand corner or select menu. The menu screen comes up.
5. Click settings. Then user agent. Select Desktop. This will allow you to get the REAL versions of websites. Not the mobile ones.
6. Ensure Dolphin Jetpack switch is green and "turned on".
7. (optional) Switch on "Set as Default Browser" I'm sure after you've tried it, it WILL become your default
8 Click "web content". Ensure "Load images" and Flash player are set to "always on"
That's it! Enjoy true flash browser content!
Configuring Viper4Android
1. Open Viper4Android FX in your app drawer.
2. It will ask you to install one of 3 types of drivers: Super, Normal, or Powersaving. Chose one. The higher the quality the more battery it uses.
3. Reboot your phone.
4. From your home screen hit menu > settings > My Device > Sounds > Music effects.
5. Ensure that VIPER4Android FX is checked.
6. Open Viper4Android in your app drawer again. Select your settings for Headset, Phone Speaker, and Bluetooth to your tastes.
7. (optional) From within Viper4Android FX select menu > ui setting for more advanced options including sound volume gain tweaks.
Enjoy Great sound!
Updating the native ad-blocking host file
1. Open AdAway app.
2. Select the menu button then preferences...
3. From the menu select "Target hosts file" then "Custom target"
4. From the menu select "Custom target" , type in /system/etc/CrossBreeder/dnrd_root/master then press OK.
5. Select "NO" to Symlink missing!!!
6. Close app, you're done!
If you later wish to update manually, repeat steps 1, 5 and 6. Automatic updates appear not to work when the Symlink is missing.
(Please totally disregard the "Disabled" and "Simlink Missing" banners . We are using AdAway only to update our master file. We are not using AdAway to block ads, hence the message.)
Installing Xposed framework and Wanam Xposed
1. Open Xposed Installer in the app drawer.
2. Select Framework.
3. Select Modules.
4. Check the Wanam Xposed Module
5. Select Install/Update (check that the current version is at least 47)
6. Reboot your phone.
7. Open Wanam Xposed and customize the ROM as you wish.
Installing KTweaker pre-made settings
1. Open KTweaker and select Backup Prefs to sdcard
2. Keep the default name of Settings if you wish or Simply name it Default.
3. Close KTweaker.
4. Unzip the profile(s) of your choice to /sdcard/KTweaker: Turbo.zip | Low Gear.zip | Low Gear v2.zip (use this if your phone won't wake up after screen off).
5. Open KTweaker and restore the settings.
6. Click apply
Installing the transparent notification drawer settings in Wanam Xposed
1. Unzip and copy this file transparent notification drawer.zip to the /sdcard/.WanamXposed folder. (note the period before the foldername)
2. Open Wanam Xposed.
3. Open menu.
4. Select restore a backup
5. Select transparent notification drawer.
6. Reboot to apply changes.

The reason it's easy to theme is due to the deodexing. Look up odexed vs deodexed ROMs and all will become clear. The battery life so far is just fine. I have only been running it a few hours on my phone for testing.
To be clear there are no performance mods in this ROM. There are no battery mods to this ROM. IT's 99% stock. The only mods to it were the deodexing and rooting and the removal of knox. And as I noted I did fix an issue with Story Album closing. I don't plan on making too many mods to this (if any). I want this to be used as a base for other Devs to use for their ROMs.

It is indeed clean. There are some Samsung apps but not many.

You should flash this with Philz Recovery (stock CWM *might work* as Philz is CWM based). I put a link to it in the OP. I do not recommend flashing this with TWRP for now.
This includes the stock kernel. WiFi is working.
No hotspot mod. No overclock as this is the stock kernel. This is stock rooted.
..and ill and ill adk this 1) can i flash a mja kernal with this.

1) No. You cannot flash a MJA kernel with this. You will bootloop.
