[Bootanimation] my works! - ONE Themes and Apps

Hey there! Just began creating some 1+1 bootanimations and so I decided to put the one that I think is the best that I made installation is classic: put the zip in system/media and rename it to "bootanimation.zip" (backup your previous bootanimation), then set the permissions to rw/r/r and reboot! For the flashable zips just flash it in recovery and you're ready to go!
I'll release these in different packs (usually 3-4 bootanimation for every release). If a bootanimation has the "Vx" in the name that means that i'll probably do better versions of it! If you want to use these for something ask me please! Also, if someone is able to compile it in order to use with cm11 theme manager, you're welcome but please send it to me so that i can keep the thread clean :3
Preview pack 1 (Cyanogen Metropolis, Cyanogen Aurora, OnePlus Glow)
Download (in video order)
Zip: 1, 2, 3
Flashable Zip: 1, 2, 3
APKs:
1,2,3
Preview Pack 2 (OnePlus-Minimal/OnePlus-KK/OnePlus-Glow_V2)
Sorry for video noises, I noticed it only after I made the video..
Download (video order):
Zip:1, 2, 3
Flashable zips:1, 2, 3
APKs: 1, 2, 3
Mono-Pack 3
Due to some lack of time i'm encountering lately, I only made one bootanimation for this pack: Metro Minimal. Still, i think this is the best BA i've made for now :3
The animation starts from the blue circle, the initial bootlogo isn't included but I could upload it if you want. Let me know
Download:
Zips: 1
Flashable Zips: 1

Well, I don't like the cyan/blue color you used in the OnePlus-Minimal, but I love the animation *-*
Good work!

Preview pack 2 bootanim 1 - it isn't very bright and the colours a bit gross {sorry xD} but.. It is my favourite one other than that. Would you be able to make the same one but have it in the oneplus red colour and brighter? Cheers :3

Do you know why the rotating hexagon very laggy? It's not nice

cool animations any chance to make them in an apk so we can use the theme engine?

I've found this bug on various roms and various kernel, and was able to solve only by putting Boeffla Kernel (even with underclocking). Still don't know why :/

Apks avaiable!
:3

Maybe is Kernel related? If using Nightlies M8 (I still keep a copy of the build 0813, the logo is rotating perfectly smooth)
The new one, even stock, the default Blue CM rotating arrow also laggy, but other bootanimation don't have such problem...

Could you make a red oneplus colour edition of Preview pack 2 bootanim 1? Chur

Themes Index
I will be using this post from now on to index out the themes I would be creating for dilli's ROMs (should be compatible with any JPY/X based ROMs).
For di11igaf's ROM v6
Blue theme for Di11igaf's ROM v6 -- Version 1
Blue theme for Di11igaf's ROM v6 -- Version 2
(Same as version 1, except for added boot animation by digi)
Blue theme for Di11igaf's ROM v6 -- Version 3
Lots of small changes, updating many many many many icons to blue...
Updated emoticons. Apps same as those in version 2
Blue theme for Di11igaf's ROM v6 -- Version 5
(Version 4 was an alpha and scrapped off)
Painstakingly updated lots of icons and used some honey comb theme elements
Blue theme for Di11igaf's ROM v6 -- Minor version 5a
Change log present in the same post
For di11igaf's ROM v7
Blue theme for Di11igaf's ROM v7 -- Version 1
Instructions: All themes are be CWM flashable, unless specifically mentioned.
Disclaimer: All standard disclaimers like take backup, I am not responsible whatsoever, etc etc apply as usual.
Things to verify before flashing any theme
Things to verify (for anyone who wants) to flash any theme NOT specifically designed for this ROM:
1. Download the needed theme
2. Open in any archiver, say winrar
3. Go to /system/framework folder
4. Check what files are there.
Strong recommendation: Do NOT flash the theme if it contains any JARs (unless u are sure of what u r doing). There should be only these two files (either of them or both):
a. framework-res.apk
b. twframework-res.apk
Any JARs that are present in /system/framework folder can change/update the overall functions present in the ROM, that may include but not limited to:
a. lock screens
b. haptic feedback
c. 2g/3g switch
d. button lights fix
e. and the list goes on...
As usual, please take a nandroid backup in case the theme causes unseen FCs and bootloops.
I have created a new version of settings app (v5.5), in lines of blue theme.
Anyone wanting to could try it out, and let me know the feedback so I can improve it further. I used the icons from this thread.
Installation procedure:
1. Download/Copy the file to ur phone
2. Use an app like Root Explorer to copy the file to /system/app folder
There is no need to reboot phone.
Edit: Please let me know if u want in other colors. I can update the same icons into the following colors:
1. Blue (in this post itself)
2. Cyan post #53 in this thread
3. Green (post #9 in this thread)
4. Purple post #37 in this thread
5. Red (post #12 in this thread)
6. Yellow
Cool beans. I might try this out.

[BOOTANIMATION] MIUI Big Bang 3D - Yes Horizontal - mtz file [4-7-11]

Follow me on Facebook or Twitter for updates and upcoming eventsGo to my signature and click on images
No matter what size screen you have, the Big Bang bootanimation can fit it perfectly and it doesn't lose quality. I have highly optimized the images and made the animation as smooth as possible. I hope you guys experience the same thing.
There is no audio for bootanimation. I just added audio to youtube to make it pleasant. Watch in HD and see the big bang
Leave me a comment if you want the same animation on CM7, Android in general, Nook,...
Instructions

If you feel different size would be better do this:
(Skip this part if you like the size of the bootanimation)
-Open attached desc.txt file and just modify the the resolution values based on your device screen size (Nexus one values are 480x800 (width x height). For example, if your resolution values are 300x700, your txt file should look like this in the first line:
300 700 24
-Save the file. Use winrar, 7zip, bettezip, etc to open your bootanimation in archive form (do not extract it) and drag the modified txt file and update the zip files. DONE! You optimized the file for your device.

it's a bug in theme manager, I have the same issue sometimes when I apply anything. Miui Gingerbread is kind of buggy.
You can try this: Go to sdcard/Miui/theme folder, choose a working theme (make a backup of it somewhere else on you device or computer first) extract the mtz file you downloaded (winrar, betterzip...) and find bootanimation.zip in "boots" folder.
Now open your working theme file you backed up. Open it in archive form and drag my bootanimatio.zip to boots folder and update. Once ready, import it with theme manager (you should see the theme name twice since you installed it before so try both to see which one is the new one ).
Hope this helps

[UPDATED 04/01/12] [OFFICIAL] Team EOS Boot Animations

As promised, I will be releasing animations regularly. Here are links to each:
1. Draw-On Graffiti Style Animation (The original from this post)
2. Team EOS Silver 3D Text Animation (A <2mb Replacement Quick Render)
3. Team EOS New Logo Design Animation! A first look at our new logo! (Full Animation) [NEW 04/01/12]
Artists! Design your own styled EOS themed animations. We have a skilled community and I'm sure you guys could come up with some great ones! They should be no larger than 12mb (at the most) and be verified working. Post them to this thread and I will add them here. Who knows, yours may end up in a later release!
To replace the stock zip use a market app like BAC orrr:
(this assumes that you are running a rooted aosp-sourced build and understand how to manipulate the filesystem in r/w)
Make backups of your bootanimation.zip file(s):
Check both /data/local and /system/media
1. Rename the downloaded animation file to bootanimation.zip
2. Check /data/local and delete bootanimation.zip if it exists.
3. Enter /system/media, delete bootanimation.zip, and move the new zip into its place.
4. Reboot the system.
If it borks it will either revert back to the shiny android text sequence and boot fine
OR
loop endlessly (could look fine could look crazy distorted, no matter) and still boot fine...with the exception that nothing will work.
If this happens, connect to the adb shell as superuser, list processes, and kill the bootanimation process. Revert your animation, report it to the designer and live happily ever after.

I did the same thing and ran into the same problem. I had to reboot into recovery and restore a previous nandroid. The boot animation looked cool, just not sure what the issue is. I sat there for 5+ minutes looking at "for science!".
to be honest guys there's two things I changed - firstly, we're running our build of ICS. Secondly, I'm using jpegs to reduce size. Nothing else has changed, and to be honest I've had this animation as well as others act unpredictably and work sometimes and loop others after copying over the *exact* same animation. I will do more research also, and any trials and error data would be helpful.
Quick side question: are you guys who are having loops using titanium backup, using the setup initiated google backup/restore, and/or running a security app such as Webroot on your tablets?
Also, are you copying these manually or using an app and to which location?

I'm using root explorer to push the bootanimation.zip to data/local directory... I do have titanium backup, but I only use it for user apps, not system, and I'm not using the google backup service or any kind of security app... Hope you get this working soon, really like this bootanimation. and thanks for taking the time to look into it...

[BootAnim] ICS Bootanimation Reworked!

So I reworked the default ICS bootanimation. I always found it really washed out and just seemed to me like a recording of the actual animation. So I decided to up the contrast and vibrance of it.
Here's the comparison video, you'll want to try and view it in 720p to notice the difference easily.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zgGKqGLiPmk
I'll probably add gif previews soon.
To install, you'll want to move "bootanimation.zip" that you have downloaded to:
Code:
/system/media/
>Download<
Hey, if you like it, throw me a thanks
I love this animation and have used it as my most common boot animation since it was first leaked, however you're reworked versions doesn't seem to work on my Droid X2. Is the resolution too high for me to use it, maybe?
There was a problem with the zip compression that meant some devices couldn't get it working. It's been fixed now.
Works great now. Love the more vivid colors!!!
Contrast and vibrance really nice! Love it

AOKP/CM9 060712 Theme Chooser Dialer Animations + AOKP CWM Package

I put together a few animations to test out in the AOKP/CM9 Theme Chooser. They seem to be working fine and fun to goof off with...
Depending on the popularity I may be adding more or different styles of animations, just kinda want to test if it's usefull to anyone being applied through the theme chooser.
Tested in AOKP Only so if someone would be kind enough to let me know if this is working well with CM9 that would be great!
Ignore the missing asset warning and Apply anyway!
If the animation doesn't show up either force stop or kill the phone or contacts app.
Install just like any other theme chooser apk or app!

I just noticed your signature. If your trying this in Tablet Mode if will surely bootloop you..
If you do try and a bootloop or problem occurs and you have access to a pc that has adb and all that setup.
From a prompt:
adb shell
cd /data/app
ls
Verify the name of the apk (should be: com.template.theme.YOURCHOICE_Dialer-1.apk)
YOURCHOICE is the one you downloaded and applied!
rm com.template.theme.YOURCHOICE_Dialer-1.apk
exit
adb reboot

I tried all three of these on build 36, and it says they've been applied, however I notice no difference in my dialer? It is a dialer theme right? I must be missing something!!

It's a dialer animation. Just bash some numbers...
Shattering_Glass_Dialer.apk - 556.00 KB - 05/29/12 (mdpi,hdpi,xhdpi)
Shattering_Puzzle_Dialer.apk - 766.41 KB - 05/29/12 (mdpi,hdpi,xhdpi)
I updated the OP as well with these. They are all new images and have artwork for mdpi, hdpi & xhdpi. Much cleaner...
yeah i know about hybrid ui. found out the hard way..lol. I spend more time on 37. Have working knowledge of adb and all set up on my linux platform. downloading now ...gonna test and will post when i get off. thanks for the work!
EDIT: Confirmed both working on sammy fassy AOKP build 37. Cool mod...nice work!
What are the chances of getting this to work with other themes like cobalt, mixer, etc? Love the themes but it would be awesome if I could theme everything and not just the dialer. good job though awesome animations! I just use the rest of my phone way more than I use the dialer

If these other themes you mentioned are Theme Chooser apk's, the original author would have to include it. Otherwise the Contacts.apk would need to be modified directly.
Appreciate the thanks know50!
Added one more in OP too! Forgive me the preview pic is the same...
Circuit_Dialer.apk - 604.14 KB - 06/02/12 (mdpi,hdpi,xhdpi)
That one cool too...still like the shattered glass though. good work.

what would be the best way to mod the contacts.apk? Should I extract it then just add the theme files, rezip then rename to .apk put it back in system/framework/apps? Or should I extract whole ROM change some stuff then rezip and flash? Sorry for the noob questions but I've only just started with theme modding where I have to do it myself lol.
