Hello! I'm very thankful for you work, it's really awesome, but there are some bugs that are actually really improtant.
After disconnecting my headphones the phone doesn't make any sound any more (can't listen to music, watch videos and even talk). The only way to fix it is to reboot the phone. This is probably the worst bug so far.
When I play music by connecting to my bluetooth speakers it always glitches although my phone is just right nearby. I didn't have such problem before.
When I make the music louder the sound is really in poor quality, sounds like it's old speakers playing. And I've installed standart drivers for ViPER FX
Also now videos glitch too. When I skip it a little a bit the sound is playing but the picture doesn't move and I have to wait few second till the sound and the picture got synchronised.
All the games run slower. Even Flappy Bird.
musiXmatch always crushes when I open it.
I also have some suggestions for you: 1) Make it possible to swipe menu from the last screen to the first one. Same with the desktop. 1) Make it possible to create folders in menu.
Thank you! Hope it will be heplful for you! And sorry for my English if there are any mistakes.

Hi guys! I have 2.7-p705-20140907 on my device and it's very nice. ROM 20140914(16,22) can't finish boot and i get blue screen (update or clean install). My CPU work at 1150MHz max. Is MAX freq. default settings in new ROM set more than 1150MHz? What about future updates, would default MAX freq. higher than 1150MHz? Thanks.

Don't have problem with the latest build, working fine here. Just do a full wipe.
And also, if you can post on the original development post there. You can read previous posts as reference.

It's my second post on XDA, i haven't permission to developers treads
Full wipe doesn't help for my device. 1150MHz - max stable freq. other forums tells that default freq is 1228MHz at first boot (20140922 ROM). Is it right? I tryed init.d scripts like
Code:
echo 1100000 > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_max_freq
init.qcom.post_boot.sh and boot.img from 20140907 ROM... Get blue screen of death right after start "optimazing application 1(2) of ..."

Yup, its goes to max freq. That's default.
Did you try to mount the System and format after do a factory reset?
Or maybe you try to manually mount system and format..
This steps is what I do when I switch roms. And I don't have any problem.
BTW, what recovery are you using?

CWM 6.0.5.3
I do full format:
1) wipe data/factory reset
2) wipe cache
3) wipe dalvik cache
4) format cache (i'm sure it's not nessesary)
5) format system
6) format data
7) format sdcard
8) fomat data and data/media
My device can't work at 1228MHz (CM11 by IMER, CrystalPA, MAHDI).

Don't need to format sdcard.
Does it install and not successfully?
1228 is not stable, I normally go down to 1200 after successfully boot.

Install process complete without errors, but boot doesn't finish (blue screen few seconds afler start optimazing apps) . I always set max freq <= 1150, but mahdi doesn't give any chance...

It won't work because cpu freq. is too high for my device. It's realy funny, but i find the way to complete boot process... Good old overclocker's friend - low temperature. Just few minutes in freezing chamber and boot complete without any problems. But all performance setting can't help me outside freezing chamber, next reboot crashes before i see lockscreen.
Unfortunately, i can't use MAHDI since 20140916 build, seems boot process goes at max cpu freq (1228MHz) and performance settings and init.d scripts applied after. Thanks for help and answers.

Hmm, then go with liquid smooth. It's aosp based and feature rich.
It's what I'm using right now. it's running good since it came out, the latest version. [emoji3] [emoji106]

It seems the best way for me. :good:

Please, fix!
Will you fix that bag when after disconnetcting headphones the phone doesn't make any sound at all (I can't even dial). The only way to fix it know - to reboot the phone. But I think it should be fixed first of all by you. :\

I go down to 1200 because 1228 isn't stable. I have the last versión: final 2.9

OK, I added a new version of the ROM, and the SuperSU problem and battery drain should be fixed.
Download here.
Remember to wipe data before flsahing this, or else there may be problems.
I have been testing it for a day, and I'm amazed at the lagfree-ness of the ROM. Just speeding through tasks like they're nothing. There is no stuttering of animations too when flipping through tabs and pages, or going to the recent apps menu. Try it.
Here are the battery stats: 1 day without charging, 2.5 hours of screen time (mostly YouTube videos and a bit of gaming), auto-brightness, and still 40% left!
Gaaps are too big
Please explain
Can we flash 4.4.2 GAAPS from other rom.Because provided in link are almost 200 MB.
I want only google account sync and G+ and gmail.
Kind assistance would be highly appriciate.

Could I request a flashable zip of the kernel for step 2. The reason being my laptop is messed up on drivers as I have a Samsung,Nexus and Sony phone and I can't install the fastboot drivers for any apparent reason. I already have CWM on this phone.
Or would creating one myself work?
To my understanding I would need to put
META-INF folder with the certs and updater-binary and a customized updater-script to mount filesystems and extract the kernel
lib/modules folder

The only "bug" that I found is that the quick toggle symbol for mobile data is not centered, plus the user switcher toggle stays blank, no picture is shown
Pitty that ART is not functional :/
BTW: I love the boot logo

Seems fine to me though, try restarting? See if your picture is set in the People app (or rather, use the People app to set your picture).
Maybe it's just one of those bugs.

Hi,
Perform a Full Wipe + Wipe Internal Storage.
or
Flash CM11 or a CM11 based ROM and flash a 5.0 ROM afterwards.
sweet. Usinig this on my S5 as well. Downloading and cant wait to test out.
I've noticed a strange thing about the lockscreen, after the initial boot, the order of the PIN pad numbers were random (at least for the SIM PIN part) after changing the option to any other setting resolved the issue. I did 4 reboots before i've changed the option.
and...... i have to say, damn..... this is a fast ROM smooth as hell
did a full wipe & clean install, no pink kernel, no cpu /ram tweaking.....

I just can tell you what I do, and I changed several times from stock to cm12:
- Flash recovery (twrp 2.8.3.0)
- Full wipe (including internal memory)
- Flash cm12 based rom & gapps
- Full wipe again
- Reboot
Had some problems in the past, but with the second wipe after flashing, I've had no more problems.
Good luck!
Ah you using the latest twrp recovery? I tried with cwm, but only twrp latest did not give me a bootloop.

ok chargin battery and I'll try
Good rom but sometimes when pressing recents button the app minimizes and then opens again.. And I only pressed recents one time so it's supposed to show me my recent apps but sometimes it shows the recent apps 1 second and goes straight back to the app despite I only pressed the recent button one time and not two times.. Hope this can be fixed!
Hello,
are you an official member of the team? If so, you aren't mentioned on their site.

Great ROM, besides some known CM12 issues, everything is great! Thanks.

Try dropping back a version of twrp and do a format data. I find that sometimes being on the latest version of twrp causes more problems than it solves. I think I'm still on 2.7.1.

cheers,
Hey nice seeing new rom appearing! Can't wait to get back home and try this ...
EDIT: First impression is very awesome! Very Smooth.. Multirom booting works like a charm too.
The camera provided with the rom is kinda buggy (crazy refocusing when half press of the shutter button)
Please upload the screenshots.
This one was one of my favorites when i had the GS5 and the G3. Love it, downloading already.
By the way, this works great with MultiROM!
Its awesome and smooth
Happy to test this
Two questions.. Pin code entry numbers are strange because of security?
And it seems min clock is limited on 1457mhz. Is this a m5kernel v4 bug or ROM related?
i'm on stock based Moonwalker 4.4.4 as main rom with Multirom.

Just change the min clock speed. I was able to do so. Same kernel
EDIT: Some small bugs to report
1.
The quick setting screen doesn't change colour no matter what theme I set. Not sure is it due to a modified framework of the rom.
2. Unable to change the "user picture" that appears on the top right of the status bar.

I remember that on that build, you had to factory reset for the themes(*the quick settings panel to be coloured) to work (factory reset once to get it working).
Maybe it's the same case here?

Thanks! Hope to see more! Excited
EDIT: Ambient display not working properly on lift. The screen just turn dark(turns on but the screen is black).
Anyway I found this appearing very frequently in logcat(not related to the ambient display I think):
http://hastebin.com/ikujedeyuf.pas
Not sure what is it though.
I havent got much experience but I figured hey what the heck i'll give it a go!
I've only tried existenz by niaboc(?) earlier so I don't have much to compare with. The ROM seems solid so far (been running a few hours), unlocking bootloader, installing the rom, gapps and kernel (m5) went smooth.
Thanks alot for this, anxiously awaiting more updates.

Samsung S health and gear manager only work on samsung based roms, unless they have been ported. So, no, they'll not work here.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using XDA Free mobile app
@gmenelau I don't have a Gear Fit to test those apps, sorry.
Back to ROM, clear install, fully wiped, installed Gapps from Aroma installer and got a bootloop. It's strange.
Second try, clear install again with full wipe, now without the Gapps and have a bootloop too
I don't think so it's my fault. Every previous ROM I have tried works normally, it's first time with bootloop.

so the issue is stock kernel that is not booting rom then, abouth wifi issues u will have to talk with @Gokulbalram since he also uses boeffla kernel and it works for him.
try restarting phone one more time with wifi turned on and see,if not then **** hhh

Nothing as such lol. Stock kernel works fine, you can test it for yourself. Anyway, I have high suspicion on the gapps package he is using.

ok then my bad, sorry :fingers-crossed: still he has issues with wifi not working while on latest boeffla?
i would flash it but last few days i flashed i bit to' much so i need a bit of rest with my phone
and can post few screen shots? it would be nice
I can't agree with that suspicion, coz:
1. Those are just PA Gapps but with AROMA installer
2. They works on every ROM I have been using on 5.0.X
So should work here as well.

to everyone that reports a bug: if you don't provide logs, and I can't reproduce or don't have the bug myself, you can't expect me to fix it because I'm not a tech psychic or a wizard, i.e. logs are essential if you want me to fix the problem you're having. They can even be taken after a hard or soft random reboot (most easily using the SysLog app), and even in a bootloop (especially if you take them in Linux, you can catch adb earlier than in Windows)
So no more excuses for not providing logs in my threads. Either you do it, or I completely ignore your complaint.
It's good to see some life returning to the development scene for this device with Marshmallow. It would be interesting to see Android 'N' on it at some point just for laughs.

May I ask how much screen time can you get with Doze? I'd really love to make this build my daily driver, but i hope battery is at least as good as stock .

Doze doesn't really affect screen-on time, except in relation to sleep time. With my 3 years old yuga with original battery, with this ROM I get around 3 hrs SOT along 20 hours since charge. Of course this may vary with changed brightness (I use it quite high) and sync, location and data, which are all on for me. I also use Facebook app.

To install this:
1. Download Rom from first post
2. Download Gapps from here: http://opengapps.org/ and chose 6.0 pico version
3. Go to recovery and delete for sure /data /system /cache and /dalvik cache though i would recommend also internal, just to give it that clean install
4. Flash both rom and gapps
5. Delete cache and dalvik cache
6. Reboot and enjoy

No (for various reasons among which the most important is that it may not compile due to Tesla having different code base from RR), but you can download some better camera apps from Store. I think Snap Camera is some kind of clone of the one in RR/CM (the name is similar anyway).
