Hello,
I got the problem that the audio output from my Huawei ascend p7L10 is very low.
I tried installing different apps also rooted, but I keep left behind with dissapointment that the phone isn't (yet) supported.
So you guys are actually my last hope for help, because I really think that the sound output for headphones etc. Is very low.
It can also be me, my first rooted phone was a gs3. There is a ton of rooted apps/tricks for that phone.. so i'm left spoiled.
Please help. :fingers-crossed:
If you are rooted, install Viper4Android. You can boost headphone or speakerphone volume with that.

Yeah i found that app today, but i'm stuck with it. When i launch the app it says i need to install/update the V4A driver.
When i select yes, and select high sound. It's done within miliseconds, and it asks for me to reboot my phone.
Done that, launch the app again, nothing changed, and it asks me to install/update the V4A driver again.

Update your phone to B133. It has louder output then B121.

Well, i've tried to update my phone to b133, but it doesn't work.
So i'm stuck with bad sound quality and hope/wait that the update will be released in my country.

You have to be in B121. Otherwise, you will get an error.

Well, i am in B121, or i am wrong*. I tried to update it like it was said, create a dload map file with root, and copy the update zip in there.
But when I update it with the system update application, my phone reboots, launches back in ''download mode'' i suppose and than reads ''FAIL''
*I attached a printscreen.

Had that problem to at first. After a several plays it got better and now works almost without force closing.
Asphalt 7 does not force close btw, and is the better of the 2 imho

Should work all the time without force closing. Ridiculous.
I have LT30at and get force close everytime at welcome screen.
Download took me out of the refund window. EA with another license to extort.
I sent them an email to try and get my money back.
I have this same, when I launch a game app always crash to main screen...
It works on mine. Increasing dalvik.vm.heapgrowthlimit should be enough. But root is needed.

Locked bootloader has nothing to do with root access.
Use bin4ry's method version 15.

Make sure you download and install sony backup and restore apk if your device did not come with it preinstalled.

If you are on the latest firmware the only way to root is by unlocking the bootloader, Bin4ry's method does not work in the latest firmware

You can still root by flashing the older formware 7.0.A.1.303 and using bin4ry's method. Just stay on that firmware and you will be rooted. Follow the guide from the all in one thread

Download Root explorer, find file named build.prop in /system, open it for editing, find the line dalvik.vm.heapgrowthlimit and increase it to 96m for example. It should be enough.

I have Huawei app store in my phone pre-installed (P7-L00), but cannot use some features, e.g. the Cloud Service. I got my Huawei ID registering from PC, but when I'm trying to sign in from my phone it always says "the service is not available in your country".

There's no need to be root. Theoretically, it doesn't matter which firmware is installed.

It isn't necessary. If you don't uninstall the original app, you can install this new version as an update. Moreover, you can uninstall this update at any moment and recover the original version.

You have to download the HW app provided (one of the two) I think it's App Store and register there. Then when you open the music app you'll be logged in.

That didn't work on mine AND I made a account on huawei website and that log in didn't work either
Don't register online. One of those apps is the app store, the other is your Huawei account. Register there.

I also have the P7 L00....is not workng ,same mesage "the service is not available in your country".... and is not going to work outside china...i dont think you have a solution for this with the 2 apk you give.

Do you have ideea how (and from where) to install theme manager for EmotionUI? I have an Huawei Y6 customized for Orange (so it have a 5.1.1 android that miss some stuff e.g. this media player, the theme manager etc.)

If you download the OTA, would be on local-interno-dload_ota
you need to copy the update.zip to external sdcard and later upload to mega and give us the link[emoji1] [emoji1]

Uhmmmm....i think that once i installed it, the updater deleted the file. There is no file anymore. Maybe if I re-flash B609, then I can save the ota file BEFORE installing it...

Yes, it's necessary to copy it to sd before installed, but don't get back, we can wait to other Italy user who make the copy before install it.

It seems that the update B615 comes to those who have the sim 3 in the phone (3 ITA). Resolves roaming problems when you are not under cover 3.
1. Download the Files
2. Flash V4A 2.5.0.5.zip
To flash use Flashfire or TWRP
(I used Flashfire)
3. Start a Root File Explorer
Go to root/vendor/etc and rename audio_effects.conf to audio_effects.conf.bak
4. Reboot
5. Start V4A and Install Drivers
6. Reboot again and have Fun

Wow this actually worked! It now says processing: yes for both headset and speaker.
(although speaker volume doesn't seem to change get much louder with eXtra-Loud enabled, all the settings work and do something now!)
All the sony v4a versions, and universal compatibility fixes didn't do squat but your magical zip worked wonders. Cheers sir!

Did anyone get the convolver to work? I tried the OP's way, and v4a is processing, driver working etc but when I enable the convolver option and choose different irs files, I notice no difference in sound..
Just flash O3 ROM and flash ViPERAudio 4.7.1 Stock.zip from here. No need for se linux changer which is bugged anyway and says you don't have root.
Did anyone try to install it on the new 7.0 Firmware?

No problem on my device, using alarms since EMUI 10 v168, now on v178 and had no issue. It's true i've made a clean install each time using dload firmware.
Did u try clearing data/cache of Clock in Settings? If still no result, i reccomend you doing a Factory Reset of your phone and see if the problem persists.

and alarm rang this morning! i hadn't cleared cache just yet, wanted to see if the update might fix it and it seems it did!
