Is this for JB or KK Bootloader? Or Both?

its for KK ill confirm with sources and update thread tomorrow

i tried to flash the 9/9/14 release and it says its for the bacon a0001.
edit - i went to the main site and this link says theres only a version from 201http://probam.net/android-kikat-download/?device=xt907
edit number 2 - i found this link on the main site for the moto_msm8960 http://sourceforge.net/projects/probam/files/moto_msm8960/aosb_kk_1.3.7_moto_msm8960.zip/download im testing it now!
edit number 3 - the rom runs great! one issue i found tho is when ever i try to use the ota updater for gapps it seems to freeze the phone up until its done downloading.

Fixxed Links

Tested as per OP request.
0. The version provided in OP (_xt907) doesn't boot under KK bootloader. Switched to _moto_msm8960 and it boots fine.
0.5. No boot animation? Wrong - but the animation appears very late in the boot process.
1. Fancy icons and animations everywhere (which I personally don't like - IMO KitKat should stay KitKat and not use Android L icons).
2. In quick settings, battery tile's text is positioned too low.
3. WiFi bug. Same as CM11 for KK BL (see CM11 discussion thread). Static IP doesn't work either.
4. GPS bug. Same as above.
5. Camera/camcorder/video playback: fine.
6. BT: fine.
7. 3G: untested - I can't seem to get CDMA 3G to work, although this is likely my own fault.
My own fault: I tweaked the wrong parameters in DFS. Don't mind.
8. Audio: fine, both speaker and headset.
9. SMS: fine. MMS: untested.
10. Torch: fine.
11. ART: let it sat for 30 minutes and it didn't boot up.
To me, this ROM looks like a highly enhanced CM11, although the visual changes here and there keeps me away from continue using it. Plus the WiFi and GPS bug. Reverting to CM11 JB BL.

Sure, and I guess that's why it has the same WiFi and GPS bugs as CM11 KK BL (using the same tree, perhaps?).
Sent from Google Nexus 4 @ CM11

ok i'll look into rebuilding the ROM with kk bl

Hi. I'm on aosb_kk_1.3.7_moto_msm8960.zip, cause KK bootloader. XT907 device, unlocked. Let me leave some feedback
Cons:
1) Sometimes shell reboots - shows animated brand AOSB splash screen, and then after getting to desktop I can continue my work.
2) When I choose Themes, error - Trebuchet has stopped
3) When I'm trying to import contacts, error - Dialer has stopped
4) Can't choose HD+ hi fps mode (60 FPS) for video - camera crashes, have to erase app data.
5) Annoying notification about new update (pa_gapps_2.0.0_standard.zip), though I've installed it once.
6) NFC won't go disable in menu, have to silence it by force.
Pros:
1) GPS works, if you trick the phone with GPS Status & Toolbox
2) Great ROM, I love it )
If there is a debugger or something to catch that shell restarting bug, I would be happy to provide you with more info on issue

Version from SourceForge for moto_msm8960 - No WiFi problems, GPS works, found my position in building in cca 15sec.

It is on all CM based ROMS. NFC can't be turned off after first boot. But reboot solves it and then it's OK

General Info & Introduction
Android Open Source Project: Or in short AOSP. Android is an open-source software stack created for mobile phones and other devices. The Android Open Source Project (AOSP), led by Google, is tasked with the maintenance and further development of Android. Many device manufacturers have brought to market devices running Android, and they are readibly available around the world.
Rooting: Android rooting is the process of allowing users of smartphones, tablets, and other devices running the Android mobile operating system to attain privileged control (known as "root access") within Android's subsystem. Rooting is often performed with the goal of overcoming limitations that carriers and hardware manufacturers put on some devices, resulting in the ability to alter or replace system applications and settings, run specialized apps that require administrator-level permissions, or perform other operations that are otherwise inaccessible to a normal Android user.

Thx to th Team, nice Rom.
why not inverted?
i am a fan of yr inverted teambaked dark rom earlier
is this based on AOKP or cm 10.1?
Running smoothly for the past 24h+. Nice and feature-rich. Thanks a lot.
Just a minor "issue" (it isn't even a real issue) concerning the home button. While the screen turns off, when I press the power button, I will return to the last used app, whereas the home button is mapped as to return to the home screen. Nothing serious or critical
Again, a  and thanksfor this release
lovely i tried it
smooth , fast , i love it
but the only problem is battery normally i stay 12-14 hours max with my new battery
but when i tried it its 6 hours and the phone is 6%
if fixed this will be my rom forver

it has something t do with the newer cm builds i believe.
but the earlier dark inverted open kang teambaked rom had excellent battery life. i think it was based on the march builds of Cm 10.1

@all,
i test it now, with the Quasimodem Aroma inverted Gapps! build 8/4

Really awesome rom. No fc, no random restarts, no freeze, none of the frequently arising problems of non tw roms are there in this rom. Using NX kernel, working like a charm on 1200MHz and giving excellent battery backup. I highly recommend this rom as its the most stable rom I've ever used. Good job developers :thumbup:

Listen to me very carefully mate , battery performance = 20% kernel 40% ROM 40% users personal settings ...
I have been a very battery lover when i was newbie ...
So every ROM has a different battery life , though it is compiled with same source codes ...
Don’t really know why , but its true ...

LOL, this is the first release for our XZ and u r asking for official build, u have to wait until the Rom becomes stable and bug free, and this might happened after a couple releases.
Sorry for my dumb question.... Lol
Not a problem! One can ask anything for granted.
Will try my best to mek this one bug free. Atm i would say its quite stable for an initial release. For sure there are bugs
Expect anedda release on the upcoming weekend!

Try to open it again it'll open without FC, and as i remember, sound pack option is for changing the sound for clicking, turning screen on and off.... etc, but it doesn't work fore me.
I don't know if this is a bug or if it's just me;
Whenever i change default Keyboard (Swiftkey is what's oin mind here)
The keyboard always(!!) changes back to aosp keyboard. ALWAYS.
The solution that I found, was to delete the LatinIME input mode from system apps. This should really not be necessary.

FAQ and Know issues:
device speaker is low
Probam samsung kernel support boeffla sound engine , go to DSP Manage and enable speaker tunning
when probam in black turn on , the systemui make force close
try to switch off black ui then restart and try enable it again
after dirty flash the device hangs and systemui make force close
you need to make wipe all and clean cache and make fresh install in this case
when try video recoding the device freeze or slow down
screen video record with ondemand or pegasusq governors u will have a laggy recorded video. If you try with performance governor from performance in settings , then the video will be a lot smoother.
Camera crashing some times and not works anymore "camera not connected"
the rom included an small application "camera restart" you can use it for fix this issue
titanium recovery not restore my applications
For those who cannot find their previous files, because CM based rom will target the sdcard storage to use root/0/ directory.
So normally all the files besides the root/0/ directory will not be shown on the file explorer.
To solve this, you will need a file browser that has ROOT capability, eg. Root Explorer
then go to mnt/shell/emulated/ all your file should be here.
Now move all the files into mnt/shell/emulated/0/ folder.
Should solve the problem.
Privacy guard IS working?
after enabling privacy guard in security settings
you have to switch to settings>apps and then choose to enable or disable each app individually.
I'm sure nobody would want to tick every single app, that would almost be the same as enabling airplane mode.
I want PIE!
Here is the alternative PIE

WiFi is definitely having the worst of already documented issues ... losing password, poor connection, and slow. This is not Vzw issue ... across board AOSP issue. But seemed worse for me on this ROM and made unusable.
Is anyone able to get the phone mic to work on speakerphone?

Anyone else find the navbar actions seem to cause various applied actions to crash.
The application "Klondike" from the App store for example crashes immediately after pressing the additional back button I created.

First build for this thread is ready there were many minor changes but build it today and started Uploading BeanStalk-4.4.4001-20140626-mako.zip
DSP manager fix link in post #1 is dead... Has anyone determined if it is still needed?
@chineel - MD5 does not seem to match, can you verify? I D/L twice, and from Google Drive I have never had an issue with errors before...

Nevermind... Sorry, I'm an idiot... it is correct... I can't seem to copy and paste correctly apparently.
First off, thanks for carrying the torch! Was worried I'd have to switch up roms to stay up to date..
I updated just with a dirty flash the minimal gapps package with no issues so far. Everything's running tight and fast.
Big thanks for carrying on with the builds! Newest build running perfectly here so far, no problems at all.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Installed finally with PA standard gapps... So far so good, no issues at all, liking the new build so far.
Did notice one oddity though, the stock kernel is set to a maximum of 1134 Mhz at install. Not an issue, just odd, i bumped it up to 1512 and things really sped up.
No update from Scott yet but I had started playing with Aroma installer If I got success next build may come in two flavor 1) regular update 2) with Aroma Installer.

FYI... did some testing on 4.4.4, this is still required with latest Beanstalk build as Spotify and a few other media apps will force close DSP Manager without it. Not really sure if this needs to be updated or not, it works, but the dspmanager.apk, associated libs and other files embedded in it are kinda old (11/19/2013 build), but I'm not a dev and it still works fine, including all adjustments, so who knows. Also, this seems to be the original thread for the DSP fix: http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-4/themes-apps/app-apollo-dsp-manager-4-4-t2516306
So far this build is the best I have used so far, other than a couple very minor glitches here and there, like the maximum CPU clock set at 1134 Mhz and some repeat toast messages from Superuser (like 50 in a row when HKM makes a change, where SuperSU only shows one or two), this build is the most stable and battery friendly I have seen so far. Using Hellscore b47 CM kernel with all stock settings (except the headset and speaker gains turned up some) and this build I am getting around 2%-3% idle battery drain with everything enabled and synching (Google Now, Location services, etc), very respectable for one of the most feature packed ROMs I have seen out there.
@chineel thanks again for picking up the torch and supplying this ROM, I hope you can eventually get it official so we can get OTA updates in the future as well!
Hi chineel ... Have a lot of thanks for this thread here, this is a great rom and I have this use since 4 days ... I`m very happy with the BeanStalk rom and I have respect for your work, keep it up! :good: I saw that there was an official thread here in the section by He[]razor ... He was probably the official maintainer for this rom, or? What I have to say, your 4.4.4001 build is very good tweaked and I like the integrated tweaks, I`m not a directly developer but my hobby is tweaked the Android ROMs without lags, affecting the battery life or the system stability to deteriorate ... My way is professional tweak the system, lol and I`m learn since 3 years so ... I added only in your rom my build.prop tweaks, Darky Zipalign and zipalign for the data apps ... And now my device with the HD (HellsDoctor) kernel is very fast, buttery smooth and I have no lags, very great  ... Okay chineel, I look forward to your work and I'm excited to see what awaits us ... Maybe we can sometimes work together, we will see ... I wish you a nice Sunday and good luck for the UnOfficial BeanStalk rom!!!
Best regards

Anyone else noticing significant lag in Gmail only? Tapping things like Updates or Forums causes a several second delay before the folder is opened... Probably not a ROM issue, just curious if its just me.

I didn't had the time to flash my new build. Last build was stable ... Some Features like halo didn't work ... don't know if it is workin within this build. Don't expect a fully featured aosb ... this is the second build i did for pw but i for myself found build 1 much more fluent than most of the other aos..., cm or omni builds.
Give it a try and report back, link logs ... so the next builds would be better and better.

Looks promising! Downloading now will post back after testing for a while. Thanks in advance for your hard work I hope to see more Roms for this device in the future!!!!
Can I install on 321?
Sent from my Xperia Z1 Compact using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
For SGP311 Users always the same questions:
1) GPS working ? (cm11 = NO ; Omnirom = YES!)
2) HDMI working ? (cm11 = NO ; Omnirom = NO)
It would be so nice when both would be enabled in AOSB...
i don't know why CM11 coders don't look into Omnirom Source to make GPS run...

Just installed AOSB 1.3.6 and I can confirm GPS is working on my 311 :good:
Also, unlike with Omni ROM, Tablet does not crash/reboot when switched off and placed in dock to charge :good:
However, quite a few FCs in settings - Animation, Halo, About AOSB all FC...but on balance, I will be staying with AOSB :highfive:
One question - is there a way to move clear-all button in recents to right-hand side of screen?

I've seen you post this a couple of places.... Just wanted to comment, I've installed 4.4.4 Omnirom (Dirty Unicorns v7.6 build 3) and don't see this problem with my tablet when placing it in the Sony charging dock. Maybe you've got something wrong in the setup? Mine launches the clock (Settings -> Daydream -> Clock). Just tried turning Daydream off and no problems either. I believe this can also be controlled in "Smart Connect" app.

Hi, thanks for the response. Just to clarify, the problem happens for me only when the tablet is powered off and then docked.
It should show the Sony logo followed by a picture of a charging battery, but instead it does a partial reboot and shuts down. It does charge, but when you un-dock it it reboots again.
This was a problem seen in most of the early custom ROMs created just after the Tab Z was released, and seems to have come back (just like broken GPS).
Is your tablet on or off when you put it in the dock?

Ah... ok, I was docking it with the screen off, not tablet off. I don't generally ever turn it off.
Docking it after powering off... it seemed inconsistent. Many times. I got the Sony then the charging battery, but sometimes I got Sony then the "android" screen (which I assume means it was trying to reboot?).
Bug
Bug -
When using"AOSB in Black", you cannot see any of the text you input when adding a new contact in the People app.
I suspect this is because it has inverted the text colour to white, but has not inverted the background colour to black. So you end up with white text on a white background = invisible.
