Hi I've created a prerooted firmware using PRFcreator by @zxz0O0
everything seems to work fine, I have root access (tested with root checker)
How to install: take a back up of your current rom just in case
1-Download the flashable.zip
2-Go to recovery (I have used cwm) wipe data,cache and dalvick cache.
3-Flash the zip
4-Press thanks here and here http://forum.xda-developers.com/crossdevice-dev/sony/tool-prfcreator-easily-create-pre-t2859904
note: if you are coming from cm,pa,etc,etc do a clean installation.

This is 4.4.4 update. I really didn't test yet, but it seems to be very smooth, no lag at all and camera has been improved pictures are very clear not blurry like in the 4.4.2 update. can't tell you about the battery yet but feel free to ask and I'll test

It will work on both LB/UB but you need a working recovery for this

mine works fine.
I haven't found a problem yet, although the battery doesn't seem any better. Still getting a lot of drain from Play Services

If your bootloader is unlocked, yes, if not, don't yet know of any that actually works.

For one who has a lock bootloader, The only way I know is that u have to downgraduate to a vision which is easy to root and REC, Andriod 4.1 for example. After that u may update to the latest vision by a flashable zip using the CWM, then flash the kernel by flashtool.

True, I actually did that before now that I remember. I just made a deodexed/zipaligned/rooted 4.3 flashable zip ROM out of the latest .199 FTF, but I haven't tested it yet; I haven't seen any other flashable 4.3 ROMs for XTX.

haha,I have made a flashable zip based the .199 ftf too. and I am using it now, If your root script works well in the 295, It will work on thr 199 too.

Cool. With mine I first want to see if I can manage to add Philz recovery to the stock kernel which I'm currently using, that way it will be a complete flashable zip file, with recovery and everything.

By any chance is the zip you made deodexed? If it is, does "Settings" force close when you open the sync menu for your Google Account?

I keep the rom odexed, no FC occured, but I also hear that someone else are suffered from the FC issue,u may ask @leo, He said he had solved the FC issue

Well, I initially flashed the version found here, but after booting it wouldn't detect my Sim Card, so I then flashed my version, and the only problem was what I mentioned in my previous post - Settings would FC every time I'd open the Sync menu for my Google Account.
Every time I flash a ROM I always wipe /system for good measure, but then I tried again with the initial version that wouldn't detect my Sim Card, except this time I didn't wipe /system manually (which supposedly is done by the script anyway, from what can be seen in the updater-script), and now it's working fine, no issues at all.

Yes there are d502 fw about, you need to flash recovery before flashing .167 for further instructions see the dual recovery thread in Dev forum.

There is no changelog of this rom, it is just a carrier update and with taiwanese bloatware, nothing new just 4.4.4

I tied, after wiping everything when I flashed it after saying "Installing files, this may take some time' just after 1 sec it said "Installed successfully" then it said Unpacking superuser and something and then it gave an error.
After trying several times I flashed CM again :/

if you only neet root on stock 5.1.1 with unlock bl
you can flash the FTF and flash any kernel with recovery
then flash supersu zip and recovery zip
and then flash the ftf again exclude system

This .zip will deodex your Z2 D6503 running the newest build number 23.4.A.1.264, disable signature verification (AKA super user mode) and will give additional permissions for the external SD card. Over 350 MB can be gained by deodexing and deleting apps that get reinstalled every time you do a factory reset. Demo video will be deleted too.
Download from MEGA
Download the .zip, put it in your phone, install via recovery (Tested OK with TWRP) and after finished clear caches. If you want to keep the SuperSU app please reinstall the SuperSU installer. NDR Utils will also be deleted. This is a good opportunity to install the Xposed Framework

U can simply deodex ur 232 by using SVA deodex tool.. Here is the link for u.
