[Q] Z3C will available in Thailand? - Xperia Z3 Compact Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi, I'm from Thailand. Someone know Z3C will available in my country?
PS: Sorry, I'm not good at English.

Hi, I used to live in Thailand
Probably yes, but If I were you I'd order from a company called 'Clove' in the UK (google is your friend here). You won't be charged VAT (tax) on your order so at the moment you can get the phone on pre-order for around 470USD, cheaper than you'll find it in MBK or anywhere else :good:
I've used them myself shipping to Thailand, no problem at all. Good luck!
EDIT: probably worth checking that the model they're selling (DG5803 I presume) is compatible with your carrier. See below:
D5803 -
UMTS HSPA+ 850 (Band V), 900 (Band VIII), 1700 (Band IV),
1900 (Band II), 2100 (Band I) MHz
GSM GPRS/EDGE 850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz
LTE (Bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 13, 17, 20)
D5833 -
UMTS HSPA+ 850 (Band V), 900 (Band VIII), 1900 (Band II),
2100 (Band I) MHz
GSM GPRS/EDGE 850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz
LTE (Bands 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 28)
TD LTE Band 40

I don't know about Release there, but if you tell the used frequencies for LTE there, we could answer if it will work there or not.

[Q] Which model best for Australia LTE networks

Hi,
I was wondering which of the two Z3 Compact models would be provide the most coverage with the current LTE and future ones in Australia?
With the Z1 Compact there was 2 models released one for china only without LTE (M51w) and the other for rest of the world D5503.
With the Z3 Compact there is the D5803 which provides the same support as the D5503 but I also see the D5833 listed. This looks to provide more coverage in Australia with band 28 (Telstra and Optus) and 40 (TD LTE 40 - Optus)? For the best coverage should I try and get the D5833? I have only seen the D5803 listed for pre-order. I guess the D5803 would also provide support in the US (and international travel) where-as D5833 wouldn't but would support China.
I know that the Z4 or Z5 compact will replace this in 6 or 12 months but since I tend to replace my phone every 2 to 3 years so I'm trying to future proof myself as much as possible. Thanks.
D5803
UMTS HSPA+ 850 (Band V), 900 (Band VIII), 1700 (Band IV),

LTE (Bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 13, 17, 20)
D5833
UMTS HSPA+ 850 (Band V), 900 (Band VIII), 1900 (Band II),
2100 (Band I) MHz
GSM GPRS/EDGE 850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz

the second one mate, with BAND 28 LTE

D5833 or D5803 for UAE!!!!

As i saw both models are selling on dubai online seller, is it fine with any these two models in dubai ?? If anyone knows the problem plz let me knw. Thanslks

I believe the only different is the LTE bands they support:
D5803:
UMTS HSPA+ 850 (Band V), 900 (Band VIII), 1700 (Band IV), 1900 (Band II), 2100 (Band I) MHz
GSM GPRS/EDGE 850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz
LTE (Bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 13, 17, 20)
D5833:
UMTS HSPA+ 850 (Band V), 900 (Band VIII), 1900 (Band II), 2100 (Band I) MHz
GSM GPRS/EDGE 850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz
LTE (Bands 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 28)
TD LTE Band 40
Etisalat uses bands 3 and 7, Du uses band 3. So yep, they're both fine.
If you travel, you can check what bands other countries use, one might be better for you. But even if you end up somewhere unsupported, you can still use 3G which is probably good enough in most cases. Etisalat and Du both use UMTS Band 2100.

[Q] Stuck on EDGE data connection.

Hey there.
I bought my Moto G v2 a few weeks ago in the US, but I live in New Zealand. Because of this, my data connection is stuck on edge here (woo hoo 0.19mb/s download).
Does anyone have the modem files or something?
Did you check the 3g band used by your carrier?
Its unlocked?

"2 Degrees uses GSM900MHz (older 2G technology), UMTS 2100MHz (new 3G technology) and also can use GSM1800MHz and UMTS900MHz"
I have the US version of the phone, which uses different frequencies to the international version.
Yes, it's unlocked.
I was under the impression that it is a hardware thing and you'll not get 3g there with the US model.

As I understand USA model is missing the 900 and 1800band for 3g
Is unlikely that will work but you can check this thread you might find something
