I'm guessing your an idiot that can't read lol.uhm where am I blaming the phone!? I simply stated "I put my SIM card in and it didn't read it correctly,in trying to figure out what happend I messed up the gold contacts that reads the SIM card." It was stupid on my part for only having the phone in less than 1 hr and I broke it by accident.
If you don't like a certain thread or post simply ignore it and move on. It's people like you why most devs are staying away from xda.theres always that one person who's trying to bash on other peoples post just because you disagree with what's on there.

Trying to bash on other people? I didn't attempt that. You called me an idiot. Guess that's "why most devs are staying away from xda".
I didn't say I disagreed with you either. What was there to disagree on? You said "Can't believe after not even having the phone for less than 1 hr its already messed up", which to me seemed like you were blaming the phone saying "it's messed up". But in your post it was as though you had caused it.
I just thought it was a little odd, and I didn't think you'd lash out like that.

Get 10 posts. Gives you access to being able to post in the development/phone specific sub forums. It also gives you access to have signatures, post in the marketplace (where you sell phone and phone related things), post outside links, etc. Also, you may want to avoid this specific sub forum or just mainly DanWilson. He's dangerous and may get you banned/hack you. Also, people like it when you use the search feature at the top of the page instead of just posting in a sub forum. I'm not really against or for this. But many people get (VERY) angry. Sheesh. Have fun, and enjoy.
Yes I'm feeling helpful today OT.
How many post u need to allow new users to add links because i want to post a thread about fixing my phone and to explain carefully i need to add links? Im just asking.
10 posts should get you the ability for external links if i am correct.

Well, you'd wanna use some lube if it is your first time, because going bareback might hurt a little for both parties.
You'd also wanna ease it in a little before going full force.
I'd give you more advice but I see PDL here and he's probably more experienced, what with his marriage to Dan and all that.
Don't use this site. You're gonna brick your nice new phone, and by the time you get it to work again, a newer, better phone will have come out. Forget this site, go look at porn insread.

[Q] Might have screwed my HTC One

Hi guys, I might have messed up my HTC One and would like to see if anyone has any insights. The phone originally has TWRP installed. I then download ROM Manager and install CWM on it. I restarted the phone and now it can no longer power back on. Is there anyway to save the phone?

First time I saw that I thought something was def broke and maybe getting a phone with a non removable battery was a bad idea but than read on here just keep pressing and it will go to bootloader. How are you going to ask that but then not see his reply about him apologizing for not seeing it because he got the notification and came straight here. So get the hack out of this thread and quit trying to be cool by an attempted flame that already apologized AND answered your "flaming question" before you even ask it but then you ask why he didn't see something?

haha for real? here's a response formatted in the long run-on sentence structure that you like to use because I fear if I don't use it you won't get my point.
"How are you going to flame me but then go on to say that it's not cool to flame when you clearly don't understand what the point of pointing out this kind of lazy behavior is? So go troll somewhere else and quit trying to be some sort of pseudo mod by trying call out legitimate criticisms of other users because you don't understand that apologizing for doing something wrong while performing it doesn't make it right ESPECIALLY considering the facts the OP gave us about not turning his phone on for a week. Who would come on here and assume they are the first to get an update without thoroughly checking? and make a thread in the dev section so rashly? The OP would. So I called him out on it. So he won't be inclined to make the same mistake twice. I can only hope that this post will be as beneficial for you.
good day.

I really hate to be that guy, but this really doesn't belong in the development section.
Well hot dang....
I am currently on trip and have not turned on my phone on for the benefit of my family. I was in the airport when I first turned it on to see what I missed. Since it came up when I turned it on, I came here first as I've been dying for an update and I was willing to bet that others were in the same boat. I did what I would normally do with updates and download them and upload them somewhere for safe keeping. Then came here and posted my screenshots and moved on. It wasn't until I got into the plane that I saw that its been about a week, that its been out, and that development goes on with or without me. Sure I didn't have to apologize in advance and sure I didn't have to put the disclaimer at the bottom that if what i posted up was old news then please delete. I would of been fine with the thread being deleted or moved in which case it was. I've been here for so long and have contributed to numerous threads and development to know that if something new comes out, jump on it and share the info with the everyone. It wasn't to flame on the threads, it wasn't to spam and clutter the dev section. The mere fact that this happen show immaturity.
A simple note saying please move thread to general discussion would of suffice, not bring hatred and ignorance into a community that is devoted to acquire knowledge and to share it.
While some of us don't have that pleasure to get updates first, I have been blessed with having on time or in Moto case, Moto feedback team which I have always participated in. Again plain and simple I tried to help by providing info and supply for devs out there to work on. Yes It would of been simple for me to thorough look thru the threads and see whats been going on. And I did that after posting and did see that I was not first. Thats fine. It wasn't laziness that brought this, it was something that jumped on in the hopes to help out. But take the hatred else where as if your going to take offence in someone trying to help then you dont belong here, plain and simple.

[Q] My battery gets extremely hot is this normal

Hello I just upgraded from the droid maxx to the droid turbo and I love this phone bit for some reason whenever I do any sort of thing on it. The CPU gets extremely hot. According to my pjone y CPU has reached all the way to 139°f and right now I am only using the internet and it has gone from 90°f to 134°f. Is this normal? I can understand if I am using a lot of apps at one time but I am only using the internet and it keeps getting hotter and the app I am using to check my CPU temputure says that at this tempurture it can damage my phone. Should I take it in to have it looked at?

Apparently this is a common problem. I just called VZW today about it and they are overnighting me a brand new device since they have no refurbs left due to sending out so many replacements.
Thank you for the information. I just called them and they said because I bought the phone less than 2 weeks ago they will replace it with a brand new one. However, I wonder if they are ever going to be able to root the droid turbo. Because if they ever do that will help the battery life and would probably other things like the heating problem

I wish I could say I was even hopeful for root at this point but there seems to be no interest in working on a Verizon exclusive Moto device. Our only chance, in my opinion, is if we can benefit from someone taking on this years Moto X.

The battery is going to get hot because of many things. Its not a over heating issue. Just because Verizon says it is doesnt make it a problem. Verizon half the time has no clue. Call motorola they will give u the best information. They will tell you its normal.

You know there is no interest how? Anyone that is legit about root knows not to post anything until they have the work done.

Read my post a little more carefully next time. It says "there seems to be no interest", not to mention none of the Motos havent seen a full root exploit since 444 came out. Roughly a year of no further development for an OEM would suggest little to no interest in my opinion

and i did read if u read my post. You posted the same opinion over and over. Again if u read post from others ....and I quote "if people are working on root exploit usually they would wait till the next big OS release which would be lollipop and also they would not post anything to avoid commentors like yourself from bugging them about the exploit". Its common knowledge here on XDA. Research it sometime.

Commenters like myself? Are you serious?! Last I checked there a no rules about posting your opinion whenever you please. Never once have I asked a Dev for an ETA or update. So unless stating your point of view on a subject would deter a Dev from releasing anything, which is unlikely, how about you get off your high horse and quit acting like an entitled troll. Its commenters like you that have given XDA a bad rep

I was asking to try to determine what other people's average is. Never said it was a problem. I have called moto BTW for that same question and they had no clue. Stop making assumptions.

I'm going to get a replacement and try it out hopefully it's better on temperature management somewhat. I got 4 days to test out the replacement to then send the defective device
