I have some problems using my nokia x2.
Plz let me know how i can send a message to my groups.

This morning i created a group in contacts with specific people i would like to send SMSs to. In other words, i associated few contact names to a category. I am able to go to my contacts and have the specific contacts show up but what i would like to do is send one SMS to that group of people. I was sitting for atleast 25 minutes trying to figure it out and i would appreciate if someone can point me to the right direction. Thanks in advance.
ur one step ahead of me.... i can't even seem to create a group in my contacts... i'm using a tilt with dutty's v3 rom...
and i would love to know how to send sms's to groups as well because i do a ton of txt msging
i use Skb Group SMS...not free though...

What do you mean by this???
you can already send sms to a group of people. just keep adding numbers into the "To:" box.

Application By Which We can send SMS to Group Means more than 1 members by simply pressing two , 3 buttons
Still thinking how a costly phone with a so-called powerful OS (Windows Mobile) dont have this feature....
SMS Groups Messaging
This is built in to the Eris. Slect People, then select the 3rd icon from the left (Group of people), select add group, then select a contact and click group and put them in the group you want. THen when you want to send a group text go back to the group icon, select the group and then group text.

I searched around bt couldnt find a solution. Actually dnt hv proper keywords to search..
Heres my problem.
In Android, wat happens is, when we send a message to a group, lik say to 3contacts, a new thread is made in Messaging with the 3 contacts.
Now, i want to send Group Sms bt dnt want the Group Thread to be made. The Sms shld b in d individual contact's thread.
Any Solution/Suggestions?

Ok there is a setting for it in Handcent.

Hi I bought a new Nokia X2,, but there is not this option to send sms to group of contacts,,, i can make groups in people but there is no option for sending txt to group,,, i dont want multiple recipient, because i can do this in go sms pro,, i want to send sms to a group to contacts which has already been made ,,

So, you can do that by swapping the Contacts area that pops up when you choose multiple reciepents, Then choose any of your groups.

Nokia X2 Android: SMS'ing groups?
I've got an X2... have created a group... but find I can't SMS them.
Yes it is possible to add people to an SMS one by one...
but can't find any way to select the group itself to save you entering multiple contacts each time you want to SMS a group.
Has anyone figured out how to SMS a group on the X2?
PS. All the software is up-to-date... including firmware.
