So i got my new 816 and i want to get a car charger for it ,, i had a bad experience with car chargers before ,some stopped working ,some have damaged my old phone battery ,, so what is a good car charger ,and if u can provide some links to buy them plz ..

I use a dual-port charger I got from Best Buy and haven't had any issues with it. Even charged my old Galaxy S3 without an issue.

Hi guys, just bought a used Optimus Black and i love the phone. The screen is awesome and everything is so smooth. A great first android for me. I only have one issue with the phone. It seems to go crazy while plugged to the charger. Touch screen doesnt work and it starts to vibrate like hell. It only quiets down and charge when it's already in standby mode. Is this a common issue with OB or there is a problem with the charger? Any help at all will be appreciated. I dont want to make my first experience with Android a bad one. Thanks!

Original Ac Adapter?
I bought a chinese for my htc wildfire and what you told happens when i used that. After that only original ac adapter. Test with another
With my LG P970 i dont have problems with original adapter

Hmm this is new... yeah try factory reset & always use original ac adapter.

Just noticed tat charger isnt ori. Infact has a sticker tat says N85! No wonder. Thx alot guys.
May i know wat is the output of ori charger? I cant find one for OB here, so most prob take a diff LG charger.

i had a htc charger for my OB and the phone literally was a frying pan ) the original lg charger has 5.1V~0.7 A written on it and iworks perfect but the htc had 5V~1A.

Hi, I wan't to ask about the actual specification charger required for HTC Incredible S? I've been purchased the HTC regular charger with this specs:
Input: (100-240c.a 50-60Hz 0.15A) 10-20VA
Output: (5Vc.c 0.5A)
But unfortunately my touch screen not responsive and also goes crazy some times (the UI scrolled by itself). Is there any special charger for every different HTC devises? Now I'm using iPhone 4 charger and it work greats! I'm afraid misused type of charger can broke my phone.
Please help! Thanks.

Faced the same with cheap erzatz chargers, use branded chargers of 1000mah minimum (htc,blackberry,apple) they all work
Nb: they will not break your phone, its just annoying and battery might charge slow or not completely

Iphone one should be perfectly fine though, try to stay away from cheap ones

Try direct USB charging from PC but never use cheap chargers at all. Charging from direct USB from PC is slow though but can be negotiate.

today while charging my incs i think the current was a bit stronger than usual because the charger started smoking a bit
but i can still charge the phone with it but there is a prob
while charging now i turn on the screen but there is no response from screen
in other words the touch is NOT working while charging
p.s : i cant get another charger because i'm in syria
any help :crying:
Are you using the charger the phone came with? (the HTC one)
Just use the usb cable part of the changer with a computer? Any usb port and cable will do.

No, htc has 1 a charger. One is charging very slow compared to S4 ( i also sold mine ) . Anyway you can use 2 a charger.

My original charger is lost so I need to buy a new one . At this point I am charging with my friend's charger .
I will not buy the original one as that is costly . So tell me which charger I should buy for comparably fast charging
You need to find a charger which has the same kind of ma rating for similar charge speeds, the current (ma) is basically the limit on how fast it will charge.

I still recommend the original charger They may cost a but more but it will ensure you that you are using the correct one
