Lol what ? Let me clarify.
This build is odexed, hence theming/porting is very hard, however wallpapers are not affected by a build being odexed.
Ok so i found the wallpapers.
K there a lot of other image besides the wallpapers that are actually quite appealing. So i've uploaded two things
This: just the wallpapers
This: every apk in the dump extracted, all u have to do is for eg in windows 7 open the folder and type "Picture" and u'll see all of em.
hi am a noob and would really like to know how to add other/more wallpapers to the default wallpapers in the gallery. that is in order for me to change and have a more customized feel to my Samsung Galaxy S.
Thanks!
thanks a lot...!!!
i was looking for "seafirebg" wallpaper for a long time

[Q] Aminations in DLEV ROM!

Hello guys and girls....
Has anyone here used DLEV ROM?? Have you seen the windows animation?? I really like them, and I like to know if it's possible to port them to others ROM... like Symply or Apex, i mean, animations looks really *****ing amazing and it would be great to have them in others ROM's... I hope and answer!! Thank you very much!!
That's pretty easy actually.
open up the rom with the animations you want with 7zip go to /system/framework/framework-res.apk/res and drag out the amin folder to a place on your computer.
Now you can take any rom and open it to the same place drop that in and you should have them

7zip file manager. what i did was set that as the default program for .apks si now i just have to double click to open them up. did the same for regular .zip files too.
NO you cannot just plug in the framework-res form other roms. that will more than likely result in a bootloop. there is ALOT more in the framework-res.apk than just the animations... pretty much the entire theme of the rom (except the pulldown) is contained in it. Not to mention a lot of other system functions...
Thankyou

Simple answer, I think no one knows on our forum. See if someone did it with some more popular phone. Like S2, S3... If it is done there, it should be possible for our phone. It need some modding, change in some xml if it is even possible.
I think you should find xml for lockscreen in framework-res.apk, and see if there is possibility for font size change. And after that there is question is there way to put it in place where you put it in picture.

So should I do a search in the sections dedicated to Galaxy SII and Galaxy SIII?

You should search all over xda, for GB TouchWiz modification of that lockscreen. And if you find it, you can't use that, our framework need to be moded like that.

it should be in /system/framework/framework-res.apk; unzip it, go into drawable-hdpi, edit files "zzz_unlock_clock_[number].png" to suit your taste, push it into zip, rename to .apk, push to system, change permissions to 644 and reboot

How do unzip a file .apk?
(On your PC) Just use WinZip or 7zip to open the APK file.... Go to your destination folder.. Drag and drop it on where ever you want... Open it.. Make the changes... And put the folder back in... Therefore replacing the original one..
Note that this can be done only for replacing normal PNG or JPEG files.. For editing anything else you will have to decompile the apk and do it

Thanks for the answer but now it appears so
Please use a Transparent PNG file and the white background should disappear
I think you just resized the original PNG file using something like MS Paint.... Just use Microsoft Office Picture Manager or anything similar for this...
Or use the software tool Fast Stone Image Resizer (sorry I forgot the exact name) for Windows.... Its pretty simple to use..
Its better if you still have the original backup of the original framework-res.apk... Because you can't use your new PNG files as you might need Photoshop or any advanced photo editing software to remove that white background.....

I just resized the original file ... She says that instead of resize with "Paint" I have to do with other software specific to that type of change?
Photoshop, Gimp... Save it in transparent png.

As I told you before; to only resize your PNG files use Fast stone Image resizer... (google it!!) And for any advanced image editing use GIMP or Pinta (if you find GIMP hard to use)

[TuT] How to port Lolipop Check boxes and Radio buttons with animations

Hi, I really like Material Design and I want to share with you how to port check boxes and radio buttons with animations
(if you dont know what i talking about: Material Design)
We need a decompiled framework and rescues (download at attach). It's very easy, and if you know how to decompile & recompile apps you should not have any problems
Lets Go!
1. Dowload rescuses and extract it.
2. Find any btn_radio and btn_check files in your drawable-xxxx folder and delete it
3. If your framework supports xxhdpi resolution just copy and paste files from xxhdpi folder to your drawable-xxhdpi folder in /res.
If you dont have drawable-xxhdpi folder in /res just copy this folder from extracted rescuses to /res folder
4. Now copy files from extrated drawable folder to drawable folder in your decompiled framework
5. Recompile, and push your framework-res to /system/framework folder
Added drawables with all resolution, thanks to @rhar****
so big
My phone dont support xxhdpi.. I put it on my hdpi.. The box and check is so big. I hope you make smaller resolution icons. But yeah, it works. Thanks bro. Waiting for smaller resolution.. Hehe

OK, there is something wrong in your xml files..
I managed to find the xml mentioned pngs somewhere on line but 2 files are refering to on_x pngs and I think that you named them wrong.. it should be the whole btn_xxxx_on_mtrl_1
here resized icons for MDPI.
Here's an attached zip containing all dpi folders created from the OP.

Even so the pngs referred to dont exist in the package so I dont know how this is supposed to work...

Shouldn't it be RE-COMPILE up there?
Just helping...
Nice post btw :good:
I took a quick look at the xml's and I see it's the pressed state which is animated. Does the animation play even if I just push the button or I have to keep it pressed in order to see the full animation?
Please elaborate a bit
I m using KK 4.4.2 as my base... now you are saying me to decompile my systemui.apk or framework-res.apk .. please elaborate and tell me which files to change as i am using a 1280x720 resolution device. Thnx in advance
I'm a little confused
So when you copy the folder drawable-xhdpi to /res... Do you then copy the files in drawable from the downloaded package into the folder drawable-xhdpi, or do you just copy the folder to /res. Then to recompile do you just compress the two folders as a zip? Or am I completely wrong. Please explain. Thanks!
Sorry if you have any problems
Tomorrow I edit post, and all graphic in all resolution
