If you have a locked bootloader, take it to warranty

ok . i have updating ota suddenly reboot and problems start. great problem is not accept any custom recovery . only reboot and stuck htc logo .
i dont know what work to do . i have tried RUU NOT ACCEPT . ERROR 131 AND 140 .

what guide did you follow to install recovery? have u actually installed it? if it was there it would load. when installing it, capture a screenshot on the pc, save it in paint and post it up. you have missed something or you would in there

ahmadjan0098 sent me a screenshot where he flashed a recovery.img (size 3820kB) without problems.

@ahmadjan0098:Which image you used (CWM 5.x)? Can you boot into recovery now (HBOOT should do that normally)? Which system ROM do you have on the Salsa?
Help me i tried to install android 4.4 htc sense 5.5 on my htc one but it stopped the phone working . Now it wont reload and gets stuck on the green htc logo on start up. i cant get into recovery and my phone is a unlocked htc. Please help:crying:

Post the output of fastboot getvar all minus IMEI/sn.
Is your bootloader locked or unlocked?
what did you flashed to your phone? Ruu, custom rom? (link)
what recovery version are you using?

None of this is familiar. Are you sure you have a desire 500? Single sim or dual sim? Because the latest s/w version for single sim is 1.30, while you are looking something 1.80.
Is your phone rooted/unlocked?

Still, your software version doesn't make any sense. It says 1.80.1403.14, while the highest software version i've ever seen is 1.34. I can't help, I don't have those files.

I am thinking to start development of it but before it i need stock recovery file of htc desire 501. if any one of you can pull out stock recovery of your phone then please provide me so i can make custom recovery and start development of custom rom of htc desire 501.

My phone is soft bricked.. stucked on boot logo.. though ,Somehow I got to instal cwm recovery 6.0.3.2 and I can see the fastboot menu .. so, can anyone help me out..? as I don't have much knowledge on flashing ROMs.. yet, I tried to flash a Rom by cwm.. but it showed error that this rom is for bravo devices but this is a CSDNUG device...

You must have ADB-Fastboot installed. Connect phone to PC in fastboot mode, enter the command "fastboot oem readcid". Make a note of your original CID.
If your CID is 038 or 044 download this, is for HTC Desire 501 dual sim Asia

Hey guys I need help with my desire 510 I'm locked out my phone everytime I turn it on it goes to the HTC screen then the screen just goes blank .. tried factory resetting same thing blank screen. I get this ***tampered*** ***locked*** when I press power and volume down I'm a noob at this stuff if anybody can help me and point me in the right direction to fixing this problem it will be greatly appreciated

as long as it is locked.....download the HTC Desire 510 RUU for your carrier,
1.) boot your phone into bootloader
2.)plug into pc.
3.) run the RUU.exe you downloaded and follow the prompt and let it do its thing

Ended up getting the ROM install from HTC and reinstalled it to the phone and it fixed my problem.
