touchscreen issue - X 2014 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys.
I got my moto g from one week and i find an issue in touchscreen. When you put the mobile for example on the bed matress then try to press quickly on for example calculator keys (press key 1 for 20 times quickly). I found that after 4 or 5 presses, the touchscreen not respond and it is slow in response. But when i take the mobile in my hand, the touchscreen working perfect. Did any one faced this issue?

Forget something. When put the phone on the bed, dont touch the mobile by any part of your body, just press wirh one finger. I mean only the top of your finger touch the screen on the bed.

This is the moto x section not moto g

Droid Bionic Dial Pad not showing up when the call button is pressed

So i just bought the droid bionic, loving it so far.
But i came across this one annoying thing: When i dial a number and hit call, my dial pad disappears. Any body know what i should do to keep the dial pad active?
Edit: Pressed the power button and that brought up the dial pad visibility back, but shouldn't that be visible anyways ?
Thank you.
All my android phones do that. Dialpad is hidden once the call connects
Shudnt it come back if u hold it off in ur hands once aftr hitng call btn

Is the whole screen turning black? Do you use a cover of any kind? Are you using phone in a very dark environment? There are sensors that detect light in the top right corner of your phone. You may be covering these sensors, and the phone is shutting screen off, like it should when you put phone up to your ear.
Its was the screen protector...removed it.. and it worked ...thank u fr ur help.

[Q] Extremely sensitive touchscreen, problem with typing

Hello fellow One bros,
I have a little but weird problem with my ONE.
Whenever I'm using it without my case (the grey / red htc plastic one) and I'm typing on the onscreen keyboard i am constantly pressing the lowest right key on the keyboard (mostly enter...) without even touching the screen there. I am holding the phone in my right hand and typing with my right thumb. I have never experienced such a problem with any phone. It occurs using the standard sense keyboard and with swiftkey.
I'm a bit confused If it's just me being too stupid to hold the phone correctly, or it's the touchscreen sensitivity (can I change that somwhere?).
Anyone else facing the same problem? Any ideas?
Check the hiden menu of android and test touch screen if u get problem then take it to service
I cannot remember the code for HTC just search in Google

Hello, I´m having the same problem.
Today I asked Amazon for a replacement.
i have the same issue here, when the phone is over a flat surface the touch doens't work...
Try this:
settings > Language & Input > Pointer speed >>> decrease pointer speed.
And check if it helps.

touchscreen is laggy

Do any one face this issue and what is the solution?
I think the problem is with your phone or bed.
I did exactly like you said, I put my phone on the bed and opened calculator with only one finger and pressed 1 for 20 times and it didn't lag at all. I didn't touch the phone with any other part of my body other than my finger.
Normally I touch my phone with only from the wrist up which is my fingers. Remember never to touch your phone with anything below the torso.
Thanks for reply. But your phone is moto g 2nd gen?
Please try it with no charging. And also try it on sofa and other surfaces.
Thanks
Please don't plug the charger, usb cable and spesker then try this on bed or sofa or any other surfaces. And also don't forget to dont toych the phone with any part of your body.just only your finger
Thanks

If you have the paper or whatever amazon provided during the purchase, you can contact amazon through their website and then mail to product to amazon. If everything is done properly they should send you another phone which doesn't have this problem.

Anyone else note 4 recent and back touch keys flicker?

Just got my replacement note 4,not sure if old one did this, but when after having screen asleep when hitting power or home button to wake screen up the touch keys will sometime lightly blink once before coming completely on with screen, doesn't do it every time,it's a bit random, wondering if anyone else see's this flicker?
To test if you turn off touch key duration completely in display settings, and then turn screen off and back on u can see the touch keys still ever so slightly light up,at least on mine, just trying to figure out if normal or not.

Mine do as well. Hadn't noticed it until I read this thread. Also, I couldn't really tell until I covered tje the screen and just focused on the touch keys.
