Recovery disappeared stock - Huawei Ascend P7

Good night, was wearing the b126 version which opened my bootloader and actualize the b133, the case is that I want to put the Israeli version b135 and I get to have the bootloader locked and I can not get into recovery mode, and put in the dload folder sd_externa the b135 to update the same way I did with previous and me missing the recovery, if any sabria appreciate fellow tell me how to solve this problem.
A greeting and thanks.
EDIT: I also just gave me that I turn off the phone and put it to charge and I turn in a blank screen telling me that the bootloader failed.
The phone itself starts good and perfect except the above said.

I have the same problem, read my post and let me know if it s the same.

Hi I solved this problem in this way:
First of all, I had a rooted phone, so I denied the permission for adb on supersu app. Then I downloaded b135 firmware , I extracted from the update.app the file RECOVERY.img
At this point, you have to open ADB, turn off the phone and connect it in rescue mode/fastboot mode and as soon as possible digit this on adb:
Fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
(U have to put the recovery file in the same folder of adb) if you need help in italian, so pm me cause im italian like you!

I did all but nothing happens. The only recovery that work is the TWRP.
I flashed the recovery from the B126, B133, B135. Nothing to do! No one works.

Hello,
You must first install stock recovery in order to manually update through Updater > Local update, and yes update.app must be in the dload folder on the SD card. (connect your device to your PC, install adb, reboot it to bootloader using 'adb reboot bootloader', put 'recovery.img' into the same folder as adb, execute 'fastboot flash recovery recovery.img', then do 'fastboot reboot', once your device is fully booted go to the Updater app, and do a local update.)

That is exactly what you need - adb reboot bootloader (<- it's one word!) gets the phone into fastboot mode (same as flashify). From here you can flash the recovery. On the PC, run fastboot flash recovery <path-to-stock-recovery>. This will get you the stock recovery on the phone. Now you can use the 3 button method to flash the stock ROM.

You must get it into fastboot mode. If the phone restarts and does not boot into the OS, then it's a huge problem. You may try to restore the phone with HiSuite, but my bet is that you'd better get it to a service - you probably flashed the wrong bootloader.
You might have luck with the recovery though - hold down VOLUME UP and POWER when turning the device on. This might get you ADB, so you might boot into fastboot mode.

Press power, volume-down and connect device to PC simultaneously. You will get into fastboot mode. Flash boot image and recovery image that was exactly from your firmware version.

[FIX]Marshmallow BOOTLOOP

OK people, so i bring another (hopefuly helpful to someone) exprecience with BOOTLOOP.
Problem: I had stock B200 firmware (5.0.2). I wanted to try beta update of marshmallow, so i decided to try it. It was told me i can update directly from B200 one, so i just copied update.zip to DLOAD folder, went to settings and run local update. The phone restarted, booted into recovery and started flashing. BUT, i forgot that i had custom TWRP recovery and not stock one, anyway, TWRP started flashing the zip, error after error, but some files still copied and bricked the phone. I couldnt start any recovery, just fastboot and some mode that should download online file and reflash system, but it would be very easy so it has error too.
Here is what i did:
1. Download the update zip of marshmallow you were trying to flash and unpack UPDATE.APP
2. Extrac: RECOVERY.img and BOOT.img
3. set phone to fastboot mode and flash extracted BOOT.img, then RECOVERY.img
4. after that, you need somehow copy whole B200 firmware into sdcard / dload folder (i took micro sd and inserted into another phone, then copied it)
5. now you can boot into force flashing mode (power + volume up + volume down buttons) and it automaticaly reflash whole system.
6. after reboot you can use your P8
OK, i got it work!

NEM-L21 bricked, bootlooped after trying to go back to 6.0

Dear XDA members,
Maybe someone could help me.
I was using the beta Nougat on my 5C (7lite - NEM-L21) and I decided I would like root. I installed Nougat TWRP and went well then I've encountered problem when installing supersu.zip - data problems, so I googled (damn google specialists) so I wiped system and DATA. I left myself without any operating system. So I managed to instal Lineage 13 for P9lite-Honor 5C.
But no, that was not enough, I tried again to install the beta update + patch for NEM-21... And thats it no more Lineage 13 no more nothing. After that I have installed TWRP through ADB and I could not go into it. So again google - I managed somehow to install original B132 firmware (before it I installed recovery taken out of B132) and it go through installation with success.
Unfortunately that's it - phone stays in the HONOR logo and nothing more - ah yes I did clean to factory through Honor original recovery.
Can ANYONE help me solve my problem, or you think it's a lost cause?:good:

Unfortunately should work doesn't apply to my case
I will have to send it to Service in Huawei.
If anyone encounters my problem please use method passed by fellow xda member y4c1ne .
1- Extract the update.zip from this thread, u'll find an Update.app. Open it using huawei update extractor, and then extract BOOT.img, RECOVERY.img, SYSTEM.img to adb folder.
2- Boot your phone into bootloader (shut it down, press volume down - then connect it to your computer)
3- Flash the files extracted from UPDATE.APP using these commands
Code:
-fastboot flash boot BOOT.img
-fastboot flash recovery RECOVERY.img
-fastboot flash system SYSTEM.img (this will take some time so be patient).
Again thanks for help: y4c1ne

PRA-LX1 I want to install stock firmware.

I want to flash my phone with stock firmware, but I cannot find it anywhere.
I am looking for PRA-LX1C738B123.
I own Huawei p8 lite 2017
I wiped my system because I wanted to install other rom, it didn't work so I want to go back to the original.
Unfortunately I wasn't smart enough to do a backup before so I am stuck atm. The bootloader is unlocked and flashing works, I can boot into huawei eRecovery and TWRP. (eRecovery gives the getting package info failed error) I have tried the dload method with other app files, it fails at 5% every time tho.
I tried using Huawei Update Extractor and Firmware Finder but I cannot find the exact firmware.
Could someone help me with installing my firmware? Oh and I am kinda new and it would be nice to get some guides,
Thanks.
I have the same problem but with a different firmware.. now only thing i can do is use dc-phoenix paid software (15$ for 72h of use). I will try that tomorrow as i also can't find exact same firmware it was on my phone.

Hello ! I think I could be of some help since I encountered the exact same problem !
edit: well I just realized I can't find your ROM with firmware finder either, sorry for the failed attempt
In your case I'd try with each firmware until one would work or a I tried them all.
You need some utilities first :
- Firmware Finder
https://forum.xda-developers.com/tools/general/huawei-firmware-finder-team-mt-t3469146
It will allow you to find the stock ROM that fits your model
-Huawei UPDATE extractor
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2433454
It will allow you to extract the .img files from the firmware previously downloaded.
-fastboot and adb
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2317790
The programs that will allow you to flash the .img files.
Now:
1. Find your ROM using firmware finder (the model is usually on the box you received the android in).
2.Extract the necessary .img files : system.img, boot.img, recovery.img.
3.Reboot into the bootloader, connect your device to your computer, open a cmd exe (powershell in my case) by holding shift+right click on the folder containing the .img files and flash each .img file, e.g. for the system file:
"fastboot flash system system.img"
4.then use "fastboot reboot" and after that shutdown your device
(in my case even after flashing the .img files I was greeted by a blank screen, so I shutdown my device holding the power button).
5. Boot into recovery holding vol up + power buttons (be sure to disconnect your device before shutting down and powering it up again) and choose factory reset.
It should then reboot into ROM installation procedure where you will have to follow the same steps as when you booted your device for the first time.
edit: formatting
Also, as far as my limited knowledge goes, there is no custom ROM officially supported for our dear device.

Yes I had the exact same problem, but once I did what I described, by rebooting into recovery (without twrp), I finally had the option to restore factory settings.
I believe the issue is in the fact you don't have access to the stock ROM for your model.

I got rom that allows me to do a factory reset, it's stuck at 99% for like 2 hours now, is it normal? If not what should I do?

Unfortunately I can't help you further than what I already posted.
But keep updating in case someone more knowledgeable peeks in.
similar problem....I was fairly good but play store was stuck in pending download....
I did a wipe in TWRP, and ended with a black screen...
I can boot to eRecovery, but it fails.and also to TWRP.
when attached to PC it keeps being seen and unseen as if its stuck in a power on cycle
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello did you already test ???
Here is the solution for every PRA-LX1: [http : // www . htcmania . com / showthread . php ? t=1326478] (sorry for the spaces, but I don't have enough posts written to post external links )
Unfortunately, it's from a spanish forum. I didn't found any problem to follow this tutorial, but maybe for someone it could be a little difficult.
Anyway, it works!

Yes, but any PRA-LX1C432 i tried doesn't work for me, flashing by fastboot. I believe any PRA-LX1 should work on this phone, but i will need to use that dc phoenix software to flash it.

Where did you find the C432 firmware? I can't succees to find it
Flashing to a completely empty phone via DC phoenix or manual via fastboot still didnt got my device started. Sometimes I end up in the eRecovery and sometimes its just stuck at boot.
I tried different version from the hicloud but none so far did the trick. Maybe someone can point me into the right direction so i can finally rescue this phone?
EDIT:
PRA-LX1C432
Sorry cant link to these files since i don't got 10 posts. Maybe PM ?
Copied the Mega TWRP backup (B100) to SD card
Flashed TWRP via fastboot
Disconnected the USB cable
Boot into TWRP
Restored TWRP backup
Restarted phone into fastboot
OEM unlocked it
Got booted into TWRP since no stock recovery there
Booted into fastboot again
flashed stock recovery
Android started to work!
Tried to update to B164 and failed
Reboot
Now it offered B110 and I tried to update to B110. Success.

Also i noticed everytime a OTA fails you get the full version offered on next boot. So you should get a full B164 aswell after it failed

Switch the phone off, connect to PC - must have drivers and ADB installed.
Boot by Volume- & Power - must boot to Fastboot.
Flash boot.img - corresponding to your installed ROM, to the boot partition.
You can use Firmwsre Finder - from PC or another Android to download update.zip (FullOTA, corresponding to your ROM), unzip and extract boot.img from update.app by using Huawei Update Extractor on the PC.
And take care what you flash and where
