I've tried to put the fixed framework-res.apk inside the ROM package itself and it gets stuck on the bootscreen

obviously.. this APK is not signed up and can only flashed after the ROM is extract into your device
I get FC any time I try to open the camera.
No nav buttons and I can't find a way to add...

don't forget that it is test build.
Nice rom, but there isn't the navbar. Have just installed a notification navbar (uncomfortable). How i can enable a navbar?

You can't at the moment, but I found a little trick: set the center clock and tap on the status bar
I know it's not enough, but you can move easier inside this awesome rom

Edit: @afi1982 I have no problem with the camera and thanks to fix wifi and sd card working, the only problem that i have is that the earphones not working, it is as if they were not put in, but for a test build this rom is amazing, great work mate

It also allows me to set APN manually, but whenever I saved the same ... it got disappear ...

you may try to patch libril.so and libril-qc-1.so from your stock gb rom to system/lib/

Tried and got new mobile , have to flash RC3 to get it normal ... next time, need more careful

I have been running CM10 for the last month and it works flawlessly (except for the camera ofcourse)
But there is one issue which I have been facing. I can't find/install some of the apps which were working on CM9 like Zomato and Tweetdeck
Is there a way out of this? Should I edit the build.prop file ? Or is there something else?

Here is the quick feedback. I will provide detail feedback after some thorough testing the battery, wifi performance etc tomorrow as that will take some time.
- ROM is booting OK.
- At the beginning it asks you to restart to add SIM. Back button press does close that and it is the desktop screen you get to see.
- MIUI is resource intensive as we all know, but I do see it is quite usable. All the basic functions are working fine.
- WiFi is working fine.
- Calls, messaging apps are working as expected.
- Camera: picture and videos are captured as expected but noticed force close after the video is played.
In general I am really happy with this alpha version! :good:
One request. Is there any way to remove the mi cloud, mi credit etc from the settings app? there are quite a few MIUI app (I do not use them) that I like to remove.

Errors at boot
Thanks for the Rom. New roms are always welcome.
This gave me errors on boot. Just flashed your modded rom then booted again and flashed gaaps. Still no luck..same errors.Some google errors and other I dont remember.

Flash my version, you will get
2 minor FC's but they won't stick around.
never heard of this rom, but it looks like a flyme clone...which is also based on cm11=p

Odd, I did upload a "modded" version without
the SetupWizard.apk, perhaps you downloaded
the previous modded version that had it still..
Try to re-download and flash perhaps?

Yeah seems the Official version is most stable
without Gapps.
Now I have updated Flyme OS to the newest version which is 4.5.2.2. It is still based on 5.0.2 since I really cannot figure out how to solve the problems in 5.1.1. However, many bugs was fixed.
Bugs fixed in this version:
1: dynamic blur fixed!!!!!
2: navigation bar fixed !!! now we have 3 buttons
3: I think GPS is fixed.

Actually I will disable the action bar in the next version. You can use smarttouch. To enable this, you can go to Settings/Accessibility/Smarttouch. This is much much more convenient than the action bar

It is a long time, its not stuck
Please fix NFC , I loved this ROM, but i use NFC for many things and i can't stay without it :'( and please fix the wireless hotspot , that have some issues on sharing by wlan , (is little buggy to work , and sometimes can't activate)
Other thing that happen, is the phone getting hot on normal use .

I just release a patch for the navigation bar. Take your own choice to use the patch.

I'm confused. If I flash attachement in OP, will I have 3 buttons in my navigation bar or wont I have any navigation bar? You said something different here and in the OP.

I don't think that the headphone&audio FC is device or rom specific...
It was there in Redmi handsets too..
When too faced that bug in a version of MIUI dev ROM on my Redmi handsets...
I tried Sprout8 version on my Sprout4 (couldn't wait plus spare data due to Jio Effect), everything works fine but how to enable Gapps? Flashed it (pico) but Play Services always gives fc

I haven't tried this ROM as I have sprout4...
Bt I think it's based on Chinese beta version..
If so there no need for Gapps.

Thank you dev for your hard work on this! This ROM run quite smooth, besides screen resolution issue, and I've found an issue when I can't authorize adb in my phone, which means I can't use adb from my computer. Please fix that if you can, thanks!!

No man, the ROM doesn't include gapps. It's size is big bcz most of the stuff is installed in /data partition.
After clean flash, it occupies 745 MB. space on /system.
So you can easily flash a Pico version of open GAPPS
