Root with locked bootloader - Xperia Z3 Compact Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys!
I have the x3 compact since 3. October and i'm thinking about rooting it.. I have experience with the arc s and i dont want to unlock the bootloader because the z3 compact will get lots of updates for sure and then i can flash almost every rom with locked bootloader..
Is there any method now to root it or no way at the moment?
Thank ya anyways,
Yours slimy!

Wrong forum and answered like 50 times. I could answer it I suppose, but do a search.

Come on.. I thought an exploit had been found. See former post and use a "?"

1) Rooting and unlocking the bootloader has nothing to do with sim unlocking. Flashing a custom ROM will NOT sim unlock your phone. Goto a paid for site or speak to your carrier to get sim unlock.
2) There are loads of guides in this forum to root and unlock the T, no need to look under other device forums.
3) Is this a question? I think so for several reasons.....one, I answered it, two, you even said it was a question in your title....guess what, it should be in the QUESTION AND ANSWER section.
Thread moved. Please post your questions here in Q&A in future.

[Q] Unload Bootloader for 20A-ESA-XXX

Hi guys,
First i would lie to apologize to start this thread, as many have threads with a similar question were been asked. As I still cant find the correct answer, hence I am starting this thread.
I am currently of JB Stock ROM 4.1.2(20A-ESA-XXX) and i have just rooted my device few mins back without any kind of hassles using the the method given in this link (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2180688).
I am willing to install a custom rom, but without unlocking the bootloader it wont be possible. Request you guys to direct/show me the correct way to unlock my phones bootloader.
Thanks & Regards,
Bhavik

Dude, read the forum rules and use the search function. There is a sticky thread here which says "Do not post questions here". Besides that, there are some threads that will answer your question

Thread author:
If status shows, that Boodloader Unlock allowed: NO, then it can't be change to YES.
You have hard locked your bootloader by your carrier or something else.
If you was on 4.1 ROM or sth, and then the status was YES, but after installation to the newer android version if became "NO", then it can be reverted to the previously status ("YES") with flashing .ZIP (search in forum, I've did that and it worked for me, but I can't remember what was it named like, 'cause I've did that ~ 8 months ago).
Hope helped

Is it so hard to answer this question? Well, you've warned him, but you haven't answered his queston..
He's new here and it doesn't take too much time from you to answer 1 or 2 sentences.

Xperia z1s (c6916) custom roms... Any yet?

First and foremost, let me start off by saying.. I already HAVE used the search function to find threads related to this topic, however, most of them are very outdated, and don't give a straight-up answer to the question. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Z1S bootloader has a method for unlocking as of now. My question however is this... Are there any Z1S ( Not Z1) Compatible custom roms? Do regular Z1 roms work on the Z1S? and if so, is there a special procedure in making them do so? I just want to know this because I'm most likely gonna unlock my bootloader. and I would like to install a custom rom on my Z1S if possible, but I cannot afford to be taking the risk of bricking my phone if there is virtually no chance of a custom rom working for it.....
So... Any clear answers that can be given would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!
As far as I know...
The Z1s has never been unlocked. I have this phone and have had it since the beginning and it hasn't been unlocked. I'm pretty sure after many tries everyone finally gave up.

@fluffi444
Why?
Much shorter and easy to handle. I know that your link is actually the same procedure. But I would prefer to link the original post from dev who invented this.
Ah okay thank you since i´m new to the z3c (my G4 & S4 died a few weeks ago), i´m also learning. Yet my z3c is locked and without root, but i think i will change this in the next few days
Keep it locked until you saved your TA partition.
