Q&A for [ROM][GPL]Clean_Cm_7.2[26-05-2014]

Possible bug
First of all: Awesome ROM! Never knew CM 7.2 could be this fast and stable!
Second: I've possibly found two bugs:
1, Entering "Settings/CyanogenMod Settings/Lockscreen settings/Delay and timeout" always cause a FC.
Always.
Have tried rebooting and shutting down but the FC remain.
2, Power button does not activate lockscreen, it only shuts the screen off. Pressing power button again or home button will go directly to home screen. The only way to activate lockscreen is to let screen timeout.
Have tried different screen locks but nothing makes power button behave differently.
I've searched around in setting for a way around this but so far unsuccessfull.
Maybe the two issues are related.
And now some requests:
* A big button keyboard? Stock was good with big buttons for my sausage fingers.
* Ability to easily add foreign language keyboards (not system language) and dictionaries.
* Remove delete thread confirmation in messages.
* Remove confirmation when enabling storage by USB connection.
* Ability to easily add sounds without trying to find the setting for each event. Still haven't found out how to change the alarm sound...

I'm not really sure what is causing your problems as I never faced these issues. My suggestion is the following.
1. Reboot to recovery
2. Format system
3. Wipe data&factory reset
4. Install Rom
5. Reboot
6. Reboot again
I take it, that you did not change the Rom package?

This is fairly easy, just drop the sounds into /system/media/audio/alarms
Our create a folder structure like media/sounds/alarms on your sdcard.
I hope that helps.

Sorted

Thank you for the help!
The "Delay and timeout" setting kept getting FC, until I went into security setting and disabled all security (pattern, pin, e.t.c.).
After that there was no more FC, and I could change the settings in "Delay and timeout". This also fixed the other "bug" which was power button not locking screen. Subsequently I could again change back security settings to pattern.
The other things I can live with!
B.t.w. do you know any kernel that supports adaptive undervolting/overvolting combined with underclocking/overclocking? Also, is there any better governor than "ondemand"?
Suggestions for task killers? Many recommend Greenify but it won't run on android 2.3.x.
My aim is to have maximum battery life when on standby, while still having good performance in times of need.
Thanks again!

I will dig out my old mini and see if I can reproduce that bug. I never used any security pattern, so that might be the reason I never had any trouble.

I don't think that there is a kernel that supports custom uv for the galaxy mini. However I found that the ondemand governor works very well. I could never really complain leaving it on 600 mhz. I have to admit though that it is an old phone, so don't expect any wonders .
My battery backup was always a minimum of 2 days, but I don't do any gaming. I used my phone as a phone... ( And a bit of music and internet).
Taskkillers are generally a bad idea, as they will just cause a cat and mouse game between them and a dodgy app. I'm not sure if the xposed module (I think the name is something with service disable) was backported to gingerbread. Anyway I never used it and if you want to try something maybe go for "auto start disabler free" from the playstore. That is what I used.
I hope this helps to enjoy your mini a bit more

New bug
OK I guess I have to play around with settings and apps to see how battery life can be extended.
B.t.w. I found a new bug: Camera shutter sound can't be disabled. Even when turned off in CM settings the camera will still play the click.

This is the best rom i have been used
its light, fast, and very stable.
thats what i want

I have 2 questions,,is this rom for galaxy mini gt-s5570..and can i flash over jellybean rom with full wipes,or do i have to revert to stock first?

you can just wipe and then flash this rom..
i'm from jelly bean rom too, and i'd do that

Damn man! Your ROM is completely stable, really like it a lot .. I personally recommended this theme http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1499191 to you guys cause it is looks PERFECT to combine with the HOLO Launcher by Mobint, if you guys confront with lagging issue, just use this setting (Setting > CyanogenMod setting > Performance > CPU Setting & select Governors choose to PERFORMANCE and set MAX CPU Frequency to 806 MHz & reboot

ICS Theme that I found
This theme i found on xda is a great companion with this rom and HOLO Launcher

Bootsplash
Can I flash a "bootsplash.zip" in this ROM?

Make a backup first and then try...
Next time try to ask in a nice way and I might test it for you...

Wooaar? Its seems I can't flash the "bootanimation.zip" [installation aborted]
S5 bootanimation that I dig from xda website
you should reconsidered to place back the GINGERBREAD "Zombie ART" picture as it will brings an original ROM feels ... and sorry for asking that way the other day, it was a joke, sorry dude .. btw you did really a good job

Since when is a boot animation flashable anyway? You should just put it into system/media.
But I also deleted the script that executes the boot animation from /bin, so you would have to replace that as well.
I will not put the zombie art back in, as it is of no use, but just steals space.

Already tried to put it at system/media, but didn't works .. tell me about the script please? how to replace it
and take a look at this dude http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2708316

This is indeed a flashable zip. Two things come to my mind.
1. Your recovery simply doesn't like the zip. Which version are you using?
2. Your zip is broken. Maybe the download did not finish?
In either way you have to replace the bootanimation binary in /bin. You can grab it from any rom, replace it and give it the proper permissions. Our you wait till I come back home and upload it for you.

I use yagya CWM 5.0.2.8 Touch recovery and indeed I finished the download 100% using IDM .. really hope you can help me .. thanks btw

Ok, as I have no power for today and my laptop is empty I quickly patched something up in my phone. I'm not sure if that is going to work...
Give it a shot and let me know.
Flash via recovery.

Installation complete but still blank screen & about the binary you ask me to grab it on another rom, you mean any rom?? including other phone rom?? as I do not download any custom rom for Galaxy Mini other than yours & my internet is not as fast as light tho, could you upload the binary script?? then replace it using root explorer right? then what is the proper permission to put on that binary script later?

[ How to ] How to get the V6 supercharger to work on the 10.1 tab

What this does is speed up your tab. Its crazy how well zepplinrox got this to work, but it makes the tablet fly. It doesnt require more battery, nor stress the hardware any. It alters and fixes the OOM groupings, lowmemorykiller and the priorites. I don't want to get into the nitty gritty, but do it and I'm sure you will be amazed!
If you do not have the init.d folder, then you need to load a custom rom. Some custom roms will have this folder. Read on page two, zepplinrox explains it more.
Here is the process to get the supercharger to work and stick on out tabs. Its all spelled out on the original post ( by zepplinrox ) , but this is the short and sweet version.
You need to be rooted and have busybox 1.18.2 or lower.
First off go here and download the script : www.mediafire.com/?w6682pwu52ty5o6
Then download this app : https://market.android.com/details?id=os.tools.scriptmanager&feature=search_result
1. Then you run the script manager and find the V6 script that we first downloaded.
2. When you click on the script, the manager will open,( Make sure the run as root box is ticked under the "run" button ) just hit run in the top left of the screen.
3. Then, you have to just click in the black anywhere and the keyboard will open. Select a number 1, 2, or 3 , this is how fast the text will scroll. Being the screen is so big, select number 1. You will be fine. Hit enter on the keyboard, then lower the keyboard away.
4. You can now see a lot of options, don't get nervous. The script does it all itself. Being that we have so much ram already, the minfrees are already huge, but can be bigger . So options 1 - 7 are smaller than the stock minfrees. You can use either setting 8 or 9. I'm using the setting number 9. So to select the minfrees you want ( either number 8 or 9 ), click on the screen to bring up the keybpard, and hit the number you want ( again 8 or 9 only )!
5. Once that is done you will see the script run some info in front of you. It will say to reboot but don't yet. Type the number 17 in, and you will see it say bye etc. Ok, once it says bye, hit the back soft key in our launcher. Now navigate to this on the screen that in front of you. Keep hitting back until you get to the ''/'' of the tablet. Rom there you will click on ''system'', then click on ''etc'' and lastly on '' init.d '' . In there you will see a file called '' 99SuperCharger'' . Click on that and the script manager will open again, but you need to select certain boxes this time before hitting run. When the screen comes up hit '' run as root '' and '' run on boot ''' and hit save. Once that is done hit run ( nothing happens here, so don't expect to see anything scrolling) , then back out using the back arrow in our launcher. Then reboot your tablet, and that's it. The custom minfrees now stuck, and your supercharged!
Thanks to zepplinrox for this script!
P.s. to find out of the script stuck, reload the FIRST V6 script. Select your speed like we did, then once it is all loaded up you will see a line in there that says prior mifrees ( prior is still your current ) . Just match that up with the number you selected at first.
Thats it.
Here is the op on supercharging, from zepplinrox forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=991276
Sent from my Galaxy Tab!
so what does this do exactly?
In a nutshell, its a memory manager.
It will speed up your phone, multiasking etc. Its kinda crazy how well it works, and does not require more battery life like overclocking does. What it does it rearrange the OOM groupings, lowmemorykiller and priorties.

cool thanks for the quick reply, can this be used in conjunction with a Task's ROM and pershoot's kernel?
I think I'll wait for others to test this out first seems too good to be true

I use SAS, not USAS as it is just a script.
I've been using it for a while on my evo and the same with the tablet. All works well.

I'll follow this thread closely. It always amaze me how a small group of people working together can achieve things beyond what Google themself can achieve with their OS.
Im getting permission denied during the last step (run as boot etc.)
Any ideas? My tab is deffo rooted as other apps that require root work fine.
Cheers!
I haven't got the init.d? What's wrong? I'm using broadcom KH7.
Here is a screen shot.
same for me, i dont get the init.d folder. I saw many permission denied lines in the script, so i run the script again with root. It doesnt help and i restart my Tab... and now i am in a bootloop. So i restore my backup, but can someone tell me what i do wrong?
Thx in advance

Edit: same for me, like klass1 , i use the Broadcomb stock too

I also have the same problem, running stock rom.
Is root required?
Hey sorry guys, I'm out of the house. But yeah root required, I think. But not 100% sure as I have always been rooted. And as far as not seeing the init.d folder.. are you fellas all the way back to the '/' in the script manager? Go system, etc, init.d and the 99SuperCharger should be there. In sure why you can't see back that far. Are all or you guys rooted that are having issues? The ron type doesn't matter, as these folders are universal on all roms.
Also I too received some denied lines, but all is working as should. So that shouldn't be an issue.
Sent from a miui powered HTC Evo.
Yes, I am all the way back at / going to /system/etc and I could NOT find the init.d folder after running the script. I am rooted and using the Broodcomb ROM for GT-P7500. I have the same problem the other guys have. Help please!
i didnt have it either, the init.d folder, so i ran a kernel tweak from the creator of V6 scrpit and that created a init.d folder for me then i ran the script again and there it was the 99Suercharger file. So i think you can just create the folder your self, no need to run the kernel tweak, just ad new folder to system/etc called init.d that should fix it for thoose that dont have it created by the script.
And did you noticed a good speed improvment?
Sent from my GT-P7500 using xda premium
How do you create a folder?

Hell man, i was 50% done porting MIUI v3 to our tattoo and you do it . Good job. MediaFire mirror please...
I found a couple of annoying things in this rom,
1. The names of folders and apps in the launcher are ither too blured or too small
2. In camera settings, picture size there is lets say 2048 x 1536 (Chinese Stuff), I think it is saying 3M
3. In the notification bar, when you pull it down it says the date which is on the left enge end it`s sticking to it, maby to push it a bit right or even center the damn thing
4. When you take the Clock 2x4 and put it on your home screen it just says loading widget and it stays like that forever
5. Missing or I don`t look in the right way, Screen calibration app
6. The music widget has a big line across it, and a thin one going from the top to bottom.
Other then that, great ROM, blazing fast. Camera quality awsome.
EDIT:
7. Chinese text when adding a new contact via Dialer

Well, first when I flashed this rom and gapps, it booted to the setup wizard and told me to click on the android. It wasn't responding and it told me to wait or force close it. I clicked on force close and then continued to set up my mail account but my phone crashed and rebooted. After that, my phone skipped the set up wizard and booted to lock screen but becouse of a little bit higher speed, it crashed and rebooted. And after that, it could work for 2-3 mins. and rebooted again.
If I want to go to settings, it crashes(becouse of cpu speed).
I reflashed the rom and the gapps again(did full wipe) but after that I couldn't pass the android.
It seems it's a nice rom so I would like you to fix it and downclock the cpu @614 so people like me can enter the rom. I'm pretty sure that it will work good @614, 633.

The click the android thingy happened to me too, i was polite at first, waited. When i realised that he is messing with me, I said a few F words and clicked all over the place and i got around it somehow
EDIT. Had to reflash due to F****** Torch app, find out a way to bypass it, when it says touch android, hold the back button, it will ask to enable long press back to kill app, enable it. Then long press back to kill it, it should reopen, but when you click the android it should crash so FC it and viola you bypassed the F****** thing
I will release an update today removing the torch app, add HTC calibration, some build.prop tweaks...won't be able to do the resizing in this one...will do in next update.
Also can anyone confirm that long pressing the home button doesn't bring up the recent apps list?

I have installed Slimrom 4.3 from maclaw.pl and the setting to turn backlight off is invisible.
If you go with an rooted file explorer to /sys/class/leds/brightness and switch the value to 0, the backlight immediately turns off.
But if u restart the phone the value is changed everytime to 1 and the Backlight is back on.
So i thought i could write a script, that do this job for me., everytime i start my phome. The script is in the attachments.
Can anyone check if the script is okay? I dont want to brick my phone
And Do you know where the autostart folder for android devices is (like in windows), ive read something about kernel init or something.
And if i want to make a flashable zip out of this script, How to make it? because i dont want everytime i flash an update to work in the system.
Thanks for your time
Go to system settings-buttons-backlight & disable it. If that option it's not present on slim, simply download this. Don't mess with any system file cause this ain't a xperia phone:laugh:
Thanks, but my device is not listed under supported devices in this app and i dont want to keep a 3rd party app running that increases the battery drain and takes ram away. i prefer a little script at system start.
And no the option is not listed in the settings.

FYI, I'm using bln app & doesn't drain my bat nor ram (on cm11). Have a nice day
Okay i found that folder it is localized in /system/etc/init.d
I copied the file to there and it is workimg, on every restart the buttons keeps off.
But how to make a flashable zip with that file? is it enough to create a zip with the folder system and its contents are only th underfolder and the file?

I asume it works on all maclaw roms (cm11) too, right!? Can I add it to my FAQ here. Of course I'll give you the proper credits on the special thanks section.
Here we go.
One zip to disable them and one to undo the patch.
thanks for your time

Don't think so is good script, because when you got a notification than BLN turn on lights again and will be stay it on to second boot.
sorry my very first try.
i will look on my device, if this happens to me too
The only problem i had was with whatsapp, if u get a message there, the light keeps on till restart.
But in settings - notifications - lights in whatsapp u can turn off the notification lights and then the problem is solved. ( standard is white )

I think your only solution for that is to turn it off... Or to find out what to change to make it lower. You do not have an option in settings for that.

I can't remember where it was, but I did remove it when I used Omni. Try settings>more options - search there.

Hi,
Thanks again. I found the option to completely turn it off yesterday. Sad, there was no feature to reduce its intensity.
After turning it off, I realized the samsung JB always had a subtle vibration feedback when touching all this. Initially found it a bit weird getting no vibration but now used to it.
Another thing, in samsung JB I could sync FB contacts as well. In this ROM neither does the option in 'contacts' nor in FB app allow to sync contacts to phone book. Not a major issue though.
But, in samsung JB I could sync my calendar with FB, so that I could see all b'days etc on my calendar. No option here. Even though FB is displayed under 'accounts' in setting. There is no option to sync.
But the great thing about it is its speed. There is no lag whatsoever, very smooth so far.
Have a couple of free days in hand, so thinking of trying out CM 10.2 as well

Maybe some app can help you with FB sync.
Hi,
You may be aware of the problem with the dash clock. It force closes. And it appears partially cut in the lock screen.
After going through the OMNI rom, I found that you had mentioned in post no. #225 to go to system/app and delete dashclock.apk from there.
Since there is no file manager in this ROM. I installed ES file manager and tried to delete dashclock.apk from system/app
But when I try to delete it says "dashclock.apk can not be deleted". I don't know why ?
Is it anything to do with rooting ? I found some discussion in the forum about rooting as well. But couldn't make much of it.

Root it, set usb debugging on, in ES file explorer set Root explorer ON. Or use some other root explorer if that do not work.

I read in the OMNI forum that installing OMNI Rom automatically roots the phone. So is that not true ? If that is the case I will google and find how to root the phone.
I tried to turn on 'root explorer' in the ES file manager. It says 'Sorry, test failed. This feature can not run on your device". Is it an indicator of the the fact that the phone is not rooted ?
Edit: Temporary workaround: I found the post wherein you had told a user how to expand the dash clock widget by sliding it down and holding it and removing it by taking it to the 'x'. I removed it from the lock screen and added the normal clock in its place.

@metalhead.mechie Well I don't know what that means. I dont know much about tech stuff
From what I have gathered from the discussion in the OMNI Rom Forum, that I download something called 'Super SU" from http://download.chainfire.eu/370/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.80.zip .
Question:
1. Do i need to extract the contents of the zip ? Or just go to TWRP and just select install from SD card and select the zip folder like i did with OMNI and gapps ?
2. Will this root the phone or do I need to follow other procedure as well ?

[TUTORIAL] Manually port T-Mobile Alliance ROM 5.0.1 to Verizon Dev Edition (12/8/15)

** Got Verizon Note 4 Dev Edition to work with Alliance T-Mobile ROM!! Data, calling, sms, mms work ! I smell a daily driver! I am not a developer, but this manual port taught me a lot. This was a personal project of trial and error, and research that turned into a stable ROM. Thought I'd share how I did it. I do not take credit for this ROM or kernel**
DISCLAIMER: Your warranty is now void. Please be careful make a nandroid of your current Verizon ROM. I am not responsible if you break your phone or lose data on your device! Read this whole OP!
**This is using the BETA version of Alliance ROM for T-Mobile Note 4. Download the Alliance BETA and read the thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/not...-0-1-allianceromn910t-18-themes-huge-t3085560 to get an idea of the features of this ROM. Give lacoursiere18 and hsbadr a thanks and donate to them for making this great ROM and kernel.
Follow these steps one after the other and don't stop**
1. Make sure you are on a OAF Lollipop ROM without xposed installed. I think I used Rick's OAF Lollipop ROM originally. Download the most recent multisystem kernel. I am on BOG modem so I'm pretty sure any Lollipop modem will work with this.
2. On your Verizon Lollipop ROM make copies on your SD card of:
- system/buildprop.xml & cscversion.txt
- system/etc/apns-config.xml
- system/etc/permissions/verizon_net_sip_library.xml & vzwapnlib.xml
- system/lib/libril.so & libsec-ril.so
- system/apps/VzwActivationAgent, vzwapnpermission & **SecSetupWizard2013**
- system/framework/VZWAPNLib.apk
- system/privapp/VZWAPNService & secmms_candy folders
- system/csc folder
4. Reboot into recovery and make a TWRP backup of everything except SD card.
5. While in recovery dirty flash Alliance ROM BETA on top of your lollipop ROM OAF (Wipe everything EXCEPT data, internal storage, and SD). Then flash the most recent multisystem kernel.
6. Once booted up and apps are optimized wait until the screen turns off by itself. Download root browser and delete system/privapp/diagmonagent.apk and system/lib/libdiagmonagent.so because at startup it was sending some kind of diagnostics and thought it was messing with the data drop. Ever since these changes and a reboot data has been stable!
Reboot
7. Using root browser, swap those copied files in the appropriate file location. Change them to the correct permissions (the folders get 0755 and the files 0644, compare with other files and folders that are in place already. Make sure you change the permissions on all folders copied over and their contents. If a permission is incorrect or you leave a file out there can be issues and a restore might be needed.). Let apps optimize. **Longest Step**
Reboot
8. Edit feature.xml in the system/csc folder and add:
<CscFeature_RIL_ForceConnectMMS>true
</CscFeature_RIL_ForceConnectMMS>
Above the two bottom tags:
</FeatureSet>
</SamsungMobileFeature>
This enables auto download mms when data is toggled off !
Reboot
9. Perform a factory reset within the settings. Let phone relax for like 10 mins after it boots. Go through the setup wizard and then reboot.
Reboot into recovery
10. Make an backup in TWRP and you have your own custom ROM
I'm pretty sure this ROM is not compatible with xposed but it is very customizable, smooth, and it comes with a lot of features built in.
**READ ME**
Bugs:
- Silent mode is only available using the toggle. Volume down only goes to vibrate.
**
- Battery section in settings is missing
- No way to remove battery percentage in status bar
(Workaround: Download "Battery Usage Shortcut" from the Playstore to access the battery section and to remove battery percentage)
**
- No way to uninstall 3mint battery mod without messing the systemui up **(see update at the bottom)**
- Now that the mobile network settings are correct the advanced calling option is avaliable but it force closes and messes up your data connection. A reflash of everything will be needed so don't click on it! (I have a feeling a Verizon app is missing)
- My volume titles are not correct (Ringtone, media, notifications, and system.) when I press the volume buttons. (**Workaround download Noyze Volume Panel for free from the developer
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/app-noyze-volume-panel-replacement-t2875501
Give Tombarr a thanks for developing such a slick and customizable app**)
11/18/15:
- Just started using voicemail for the first time in 6 years. Good thing because today I experienced a glitch that it would not let me hang up the phone after listening to voicemails for some reason, but it didn't do that when I was clearing voicemails. (Hangs up automatically after a certain amount of time) Maybe it happens to new voicemails. Also I'm assuming since the verizon voice mail app isn't installed I get a weird unreadable verizon text when I get a new voicemail.
- One hand mode is not in the settings. Not sure why
Any suggestions or thoughts about these current bugs would be helpful.
I cannot guarantee all Alliance settings will work (stay away from performance), but most does work and it's awesome!
This manual port is now stable and buttery smooth! All basic phone functions work. Let me know if you come across any bugs or issues not related to Alliance settings. I will try to help fix it.
Thanks Stedrocklp for taking the time to try and get this working. Jal3223 thanks for sharing that key porting info!!! Wouldn't be possible without your help! Thanks hsbadr for developing Multisystem kernel ! Thanks lacoursiere18 for creating this ROM !
UPDATE:
To update Alliance settings to the most recent version and remove 3mintbattery mod download the newest T-Mobile Alliance ROM v1.1
1. Use ES File Explorer and click on the Alliance ROM you just downloaded to open the archive.
2.
- Extract system/privapp/SystemUI/SYSTEMUI.apk
- In the system/app folder extract AllianceControl folder (towards the top) and all the loose apps without folders at the bottom to a folder on your sd card.
3. Make a system and data backup in TWRP just in case things go wrong. Reboot system
4. Swap all those files and folders in their appropriate file locations and change the folder permissions to 755 and files to 644. Take this step slow and make sure the old files are renamed to .old or overwritten. If a permission is incorrect or you leave a file out there can be issues and a restore might be needed.
5. In system/app folder delete the old loose Alliancecontrol.apk, and delete 3mintbattery.apk
6. Reboot and enjoy!
This is the final release of this ROM so we are all up to date ! :good:

I'm pretty sure it would but you need to figure out the sprint specific apps to make the system happy. And flash your sprint kernel after you dirty flash. The dirty flash skips the setup which makes it possible to boot correctly.

Damn thats not good. I do not think I am allowed to share the ROM, as it's not mine. But I do not know how to share it anyways. I would just odin back to 4.4.4. and go through the upgrade process to OAF. Or you can try to de-xpose MoRom after a clean flash. I think there are two things you need to remove one being the xposed installer and the other I don't know the exact name but use root browser, search for xposed in the system folder, delete it, and reboot. No sure if it will messed anything up but I don't think it will. Then dirty flash the alliance beta and continue from there. Let me know how it goes!

Thank you for your response. I ODIN'd back to OAF and went through the steps in your tutorial. My phone booted up and I then proceeded to replace the files/folders and set permissions. I thought I was careful, but once I tried to reboot, the phone would not come back up.
Is there a way to make the changes (file permissions and replacing them in the ROM) on a PC?
Is there a way to share your edited files so that we could simply paste them into the ROM?
Just thought I would ask. Thank you in advance for your assistance!

Damn thats a bummer. Even if I shared the files you would still need to change the permissions. I think it is possible unzip a verizon ROM and unzip Alliance rom and replace the files and then zip it back up on the computer and then dirty flash that but everytime I zip it back up it never flashes. It seems that when I zip it back up it adds an extra folder that makes it unflashable but haven't taken the time to figure out how to make it work. Try starting over and getting the ROM to boot then make a nandroid of that so you have something to restore. This is what I did when I was trying to get everything working. Next time try not adding the camera files and .jar file and add them after a reboot. Let me know how it goes.
Added the setup as one of the files to copy over so a factory reset can be performed to make sure you're starting with a fresh system. This is the first day I did this and I had to pull the battery twice due to freezes after I factory reset. I didn't let the phone sit and let it settle. I would recommend you let it sit and relax for like 10 mins. I have not had any lock ups since this morning. Lemmi know how it goes!
After the factory reset the ROM is flying. As for the battery I cannot say yet but I know I did not have the best battery life on this ROM before. It did get me through the day so I was happy about that. I calibrated the battery but that is about it. If any devs knows any battery optimizations that can be made to the system without xposed please share!
I heard from a user that Xposed works on this ROM. I personally do not use it though. As for battery life I've noticed better results after I disabled automatic check for updates in the settings. Settings > About device > Software Updates and uncheck auto check for updates. This ROM for some reason does not have the audio issues that I experienced on MoROMs ROM. I am happy about that. Now that we finally have the 5.1.1. update I am going to try and port a ROM that looks good. If anybody wants to give this a stab with me that would be great to test multiple ROMs from different carriers and see which one gives us the best results. Thanks
Got something amazing in the works!

It's not that simple. A data fix would need to be made and that is out of the scope of my knowledge. But when I have some free time, possibly this weekend, I can attempt to come up with something for you to try.

I don't recommend dirty flashing from Kyubi. You should try clean flashing MoRom then copying those files from the system. Then dirty flash Alliance, then multisystem kernel:

And just follow the OP instructions.
