I never updated my stock rom when I bought my phone although there was a tmobile update that wanted to push through. currently my baseband version is N910TUVU1ANIH. This isn't the ROM version you said I needed to be at. How would I currently get to the correct version needed to flash your ROM? I am currently Rooted with TWRP installed.

I'm interested in flashing this I didn't see any mentions in the OP regarding unlocked tethering? So can anyone verify if tether works and if the data is coming from your unlmtd data or Hotspot data?

If the next version of the rom had the ability to turn on both Wifi and USB tethering without the "Validation" check, I would be sooooo friggin happy!
There are 7 or 8 threads in the General troubleshooting sub-forum talking about this.
Just an idea for V2.

worked flawlessly for me besides a couple things, supersu is taking around 15 to 20 minutes for each app to ask for root privileges. I was so excited when I seen a custom ROM for the first time on the note 4 i somehow did a dirty flash being in a hurry. I definitely will be waiting for v2, Thank you much for hard work.

I've only found one problem so far, and it could absolutely be mine alone...but for whatever reason when I'm typing in a name to send a text in hangouts it takes like a full 2 seconds for that person to pop up.
for instance:
if I type "ry" to text my friend Ryan, it takes 2 seconds for the drop down box to come up with his full info, where as before this was instant.
anyone else having this issue?
When u shutdowm do u guys see words like radio off 1 2 as it shutting down is that part of rom or is something wrong?

no its because u changed ur type.build.name from user to userdebug im guessing to try new gmail app

sounds like it's a problem for some people even on stock.
were you also using the xhangouts closed module? maybe that has something to do with it?

Random rebooting.
I bought a note 3, n900a, off swappa.com.
It had firenote grand finale v16 ROM.
It's been randomly rebooting. 10 times in the first 24 hours.
I'm wholly unstudied on this ROM. I've seen that there's a v.17 out. But mostly I want to insure I didn't get a bad "mint" phone.
Swappa.com is recommended by xda.
sent using mobile data only. no broadband in Rural America as was promised by both Presidents Bush & Obama.
Problems getting phone to boot after installation
I installed version 6 and the latest and it says successful. But yet my phone boots to a black screen and stays black any help would be greatly a appreciated. Followed the instructions to a t. This is not my first flash so I'm not a noob..

Help with Note 3
I flashed a custom rom and it was a success until I reboot and then the phone just crashed. Now when I enter recover there is no system mount when trying to flash a different rom. What do I do?
V20 working wonderfully
I upgraded from version 7 to version 20 and flashed Walter's debloater script on top with the GPS fix script from Drakey since I have had problems in the past.
The upgraded version is really smooth. I run Aviate as a launcher and there is no delay. Battery life is great. 3.5% per hour with some pretty heavy usage. Overall I am super satisfied with the build. Glad to have stayed on 4.3 to be able to use this build.

I am still on v20 and loving it as well. From what I have heard you describe, there isn't much reason to switch over to Fire Kat.

Hello Mega, before I do an odin restore I wanted to see if you knew why my phone wont boot after flashing this rom. In the past with other roms I know it was the kernel and after flashing the correct one it would boot successfully. I have tried the same process here with no success

best rom ever but have some minor bugs. notification etc.
nice rom overall, quick and stable.
only thing that annoys me is data speed on left side of notif.bar .
it sometimes shows double speed counter with number overlapped, mostly after phone wakes up.
is there any way to remove it, or turn it off ?

Anyone else have problems with freezing screen ?
I've been using this rom for over 2 weeks and 3 days ago my screen started to freeze totaly after a few hours non-use. e.g. when alarm goes off and screen turn on , my phone instantly freeze, together with the sound and I can't do do anything but turn it off by taking the battery out. Happens when battery is low- under 30% or so. Not only alarm cause this problem, normal turning on as well. I ;ve already tried wiping all data and cache from CWM but I got those problem aagain. Only 2 apps I downloaded are twisted double- music app and 1 game 'Duet".
Any idea what causes problems? I may jsut have to switch to zaiben.

Installed Internazional ROM on n900a - some issues

I've successfully installed the Internazional ROM on my n900a. So far pretty stable. Have had only one issue so far. While capturing screenshots using the swipe from left to right hand motion. it crashed. I took alot of screenshots though like at least 10 or so and then it crashed. It happened with both versions. Could be just a bug in the international version itself. Love this ROM though exactly what I was looking for. Keep up the good work. Is version 4 still coming out?
A couple issues I had with Internzionale Rom
Just wanted to report a couple bugs I had with Internationale ROM. I installed the NEO version at the time. 1: Couldn't get it to save my WIFI passwords. Everytime I restarted the phone it would erase the WIFI password. Tried troubleshooting it but had no luck getting it to remember the passwords. 2. Movies on Disney Anywhere or Flixster apps do not play. They play for a few seconds and then crash. Just wanted to report these in case you were coming out with an updated version.

Fix for WIFI not remembering passwords.
Found the fix for Internazational ROM not remembering WIFI passwords. Found it on the Biggins ROM page. Do this to fix it:
Q:My wifi is not connecting!
A: Download and Install BuildProp Editor app from Play Store then change the line “ro.securestorage.support” value from “true” to “false” then reboot. That will fix the wifi issues.

Oh i find way to download,anyway tks ur rom,and i still download a nfc.zip which fix n900a builded by n9005 .nfc is ok.but baseband lost...no mobile network...i think some of files in vendor has been replaced wrong.i have no idea how to fix it

It took a little bit of tweaking to get things going. But, so far this ROM is running really well. GPS grabs satellites quickly, I've had no FC's, looking really good. I posted in the dev thread that after the install, I couldn't get my apps to update/install from the play store, and the APN was an old Cingular, not the current AT&T LTE, and I good none of the Google apps. Maps, Gmail, Hangout, etc
Still, this looks really promising. Nice work!

It starts in Vietnamese, and changes to English easy enough, Russian? Not sure, I can't read some of these:

Yes, it does support Russian. The rom is multilanguage support fyi.
Today installed this firmware ! Everything works fine , except for the proximity sensor !

When you flash the rom and boot up the welcome screen shows you a pull down list. Thats the language

Smart Stay and Smart Pause
firstly thanks for the rock solid rom. I find this one so far to be the best and the most stable rom available for N900A. However, with me Smart Stay and Smart Pause do not seem to be working, is it only with me or with everyone? Air Gesture is working perfectly. I tried using Smart Stay/Pause with stock video player and also without air gestures on. Any suggestions??

good job so far. Battery seems to be fine (1day as usual).
But i seem to have a problem with charging. It takes up do 5 hours to fully charge over powerline (not USB). Any idea why or where to change?

Hey thank you. Well if you have this issue too, i'll wait for further updates.
Tested the last version for a week , no major issues but I've noticed the following :
1- When turning the flash light from the notification bar , it doesn't but the notification immediately that the flash is on, but when the notification appears the flash light turns off although the notification says flash light is on.
2- While using Facebook & watching videos on it , the screen turns off although Facebook app should prevent the phone from sleeping.
P.S: @rodman01 the GPS is working without flashing the GPS fix file .

Its is working and it is awesome I must say. Its very smooth stable. In the starting I was facing many glitches. But then I gave it another shot and did not flashed update.zip for my user apps. installed them manually though. Its working. Thank you soon much: again. you are doing an excellent job bro!
