Hi,
I'm on b133 rooted, bootloader unlocked and set_immutable.list removed.
I extracted and flashed trough adb the stock recovery from B121, B126, B133, B135 firmwares. The flash is ok but then no one work.
I tried even this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=53980121&postcount=4
When the phone try to boot in recovery it gets stuck on the first Huawei Ascend logo.
The only recovery that work is TWRP recovery. What can I do? How can I restore stock recovery?
The smartphone by the way is fully functional.
I'm talking about P7-L10

need to remove the carrier branding logo. Can you please bit explain me where to find these firmwares and how to remove this thing.

Hello,
I recently installed the B609 update, but I didn't know that takes away the root acces... Now I can't root with RootGenius anymore.
So can anyone tell me how I can root my phone now? I know there are already some tutorials but they all use a fastboot flash file. I don't want to take that risk. That way I bricked my phone a mont ago.

oh it was long time ago already wrote in your rom post that everything works, i was just new to the fastboot adb commands, so i gave it a try and it worked on the first try still amazed how simple it is, but it just sounds like alot can go wrong in the cmd

try this... download full EMUI 3.0 B609 from
chrome://mega/content/secure.html#!BoUWjASI!PfSWMroeQB-QBAumV92qCaJ_QX6ln0avT3epXDwBm44, extract update.app to sd card/dload folder then try local update... this should work, but if not try force update!

is your phone branded? if yes mybe you have to first debrand in order to avoid problem like missing motion config voices...
otherwhise you first have to flash stock emui recovery and than download b609 fw (and then follow a guide here in xda to have full emui 3 function if you have missing features)

maybe here on xda.... but for sure downoload your fw rom (b121) and open update.app with huawei update extractor...select recovery.img, right click with mouse, extract seleceted... that's all, you can flash the recovery like you've done with twrp

Oh my bad, btw what is the difference in vodafone version? My phone is unbranded honor 4x and I didn't even realise that firmware was vodafone version.
Problem
I'm not on vodafone. I need the update to work on all cellular networks.
But I want to try still, maybe it works.
I downloaded the "update.zip" for my model, what I need to do with it???

I guess not, since it's official firmware and TWRP is custom recovery...

Yes, You can install from twrp, like other .zip file.
But, don`t waste Your time. This Vodafone ROM is bad - battery leak is very fast, even if phone is on stand-by.

For me there is no battery problem (Using esal kernel) drops only 3-5% over night.
If the update doesn't exist or it is just for vodafone, how XePeleato did make esal v2.2 for emui 4.1?

Well I think there is also emui 4.1 for huawei y6 pro II (can't remeber correct name) which is same phone than p8lite. Maybe it has unbranded version. Though if you take backup you can safely test does vodafone version work for your p8lite.

I tested vodafone version. I did how it said, I flashed the file, and I was stuck at boot logo. Almost killed my phone. TWRP, didn't work again, had to flash it again, and even stock rom was not booting after flashing it. Happily, a custom emui rom worked fine on the device.

Yes, nothing happened, still stuck on boot logo.

Install -> Install Image -> stockboot.img -> boot type
Via ADB

This isn't the whole OS. This is just the boot.img. If you are unable to boot into anything but eRecovery and TWRP, you will likely need to flash back the stock recovery for your device. eRecovery will then be able to salvage your OS.
I don't wanna be "that guy," but it sounds like you really are in over your head. You should not do things on your phone especially a Huawei if you do not fully understand what you are doing. Huaweis are notoriously easy to softbrick and potentially full brick.

-I make a big mistake on my honor 5c nem by flashing this version of firmware NEM-L22C636B355 http://www.stechguide.com/honor-5c-b355-nougat-update/ after accidently deleted os in twrp without backup. after that, I do adb flash and getting NDRM-testkey.The problem i get from this testkey is unknown emei other smartphone problem.I backup this version of OS.
-After that, i tried to flash nem l-22c636b140 i get from here https://forum.xda-developers.com/ho...lota-upgrade-packages-models-nem-l51-t3473110 using adb and getting (sparse write error). I don't really remember but i think after i tried to do restore my phone, my product and vendor cannot mount on internal storage.
-i don't know why but i cannot use dload method it says incompatible.........i also getting error:7 when i try using twrp.

-BTW,my phone is from malaysia
-Did my phone are unrecoverable??.TQ
p/s: i remember using lenovo phone using mediatek chip. It is so easy to flash the rom using sp flash tool. I getting softbrick/hardbrick tons of time but i could recover from that as long as computer could read your usb.

I did what you said...i extract recovery.img using huawei extract from b355 i mentioned in my post...i flashed it using adb.........and i put update.app(b355) file under dload file on the root of my sd card...... i do vol up+Vold down + power button to active the dload....and the result is i got software install failed-get help from huawei website.i cannot flash firmware other than nougat.....i do think the firmware is the culprit because it is not suitable version.......what do you guys think???

can boot guys thank you..... i extracted stock recovery at update.app and flash it.............after that put update.app on dload file at sd card root...............after that vol up+ vol down + power button...........it updated....you just need a right firmware....thank you ending my nightmare.............but the thing is i get NRD90M test-keys back with correct emei............how to solve this problem??tq.

Bro, you need go flash rollback package for Marshmallow, and then flash update.app via dload method, after that you will be able to install the N easily thru Updater.apk
