Hello, I would like to ask you if Motorola Droid Turbo has build-in SIM card or you can remove it. This mobile phone has great specs and I would like to buy it. But I need to use this phone in Europe. Thanks for answers.

umm your service is disconnected?????
no,its not reading the card slot at all
This may be a stupid question- is the SIM card in the proper way? When did this start? What changed? Did you drop the phone?

When I first bought my Tilt used, I had the same problem. I had to stick a tiny part of a post-it to the back of my SIM and shove it in there. It's like my SIM wasn't thick enough.
The best way - to try with another SIM (maybe your friends have a mobile-phone )
Sometimes the old SIMs don't want to work with modern devices....
well heres my 2 cents as i just fixed it, my issue at first i thought it was the sim slot (replaced...) then found out the ribbon was damaged a crack occured, after another week of waiting for a package (today) i replaced it and now its running fine
Same here
My Sim was no longer available.
Kaiser had "sim card is missing", but the sim was in there.
I disassebled it and found that the main flex cable was damaged.
Now I'm waiting for replacement.
So, When the phone shows up "sim missing" it's an flex cable matter not the sim card flex or the sim card unit.
same problem here
I'm having the same problem here. thought that it was the flex cable of the sim, but when I disassambled the Kaiser I found out that the main cable was slightly scrached from a corner, and the sim's cable was there pluged well... I'm trying to fix it..gonna post the result for "sim card failure"...

[Q] SIM card tray stuck in phone

I just got a Moto X, and put a nano sim card in the phone. It was quite easy to get the tray out, and put the SIM card into the tray and back into the phone. However, now I can't get the tray (along with the SIM card) out again. I really need to get the SIM card out of the phone. Can anyone please help me? I've already tried using the SIM card eject tool and sliding paper above and under the tray. I've also attempted to jiggle the tray, but cannot, as it will not come out at all.
Can anyone suggest some advice for me? I would be willing to go to a store to get this fixed, but that would have to wait until the end of the day, it would be really helpful to get the card out now.
Better go to a store than damaging the slot. :/

Sim Tray disconnected?

Is the SIM tray supposed to be disconnected from the latch?
Just bought the phone and the SIM tray is not coming out when pulling the latch (the SD card tray works fine)

That's normal.
The SIM tray is not connected to the port cover and must be pulled out separately.
This allows you to eject and get physical access to the SD card without needing to power down the phone.

Less root/ROM(s) that address this, you're SOL.
It's been a thing since about June of this year, starting w/an update to the S9/S9+ lineup & of course,Samsung included it in the Note 9.

Dual SIM physically blocked.

Hello All,
I've been looking to add a 2nd SIM to my wife's phone as she'd like to have separate numbers for work/life.
When I opened up the SIM tray I saw that the tray has an empty slot for 1 SIM card and another for SD card. there is a shape of the 2nd SIM slot on the tray, but it isn't fully cut out.
So I went to a few mobile repair shops around my area and was told they can order a tray for us, but it probably won't work as the phone is probably locked in software.
I know the phone isn't carrier locked, since I can switch carriers freely, so what can be the reason some unknown entity went out of their way to lock this phone to a single-SIM only?
And is there a way to unlock the 2nd slot?
Thanks!

Hi
I would take A gable and get a cheap sim tray of the bay and see if it works.
I have 2 sim and Micro SD in mine. If it is software lock i think you could flash A different region software to unlock it. Or It could be blocked as the sim reader only has the pins to read 1 sim card witch could be need hole new sim reader slot.
You could try cut out the plastic blocking the second slot
