If a themed app that has previously worked fine, begins to force close, it was likely updated with a new design by the app’s developers. An update to this theme will soon roll out removing the app until fixes have been made.
If any part of the UI begins to bug out (e.g. System UI force closing), restart your phone. Most of the time, this fixes the issue.
Some, although very few, sections of an app may be hard to read due to text color issues. Unfortunately, these issues are unfixable. But fortunately, these issues have been minimized and should not affect daily use.

This is on the list as well. There are a couple of things that I'm trying to clean up with Google Now and the new Gmail design. Once I've finished with them, I'll be taking a look at the new Google Calender.
Update: Added themed Gmail with the new Material Design. Fixed some other little things here and there as well.

Hmm, not sure why it is not installing for you. I just tried to install it myself with the same apk I uploaded and it worked just fine.
Did you try to reboot and install again? If you are still having issues, post a log.
Same here. It says "installed" in package installer but then the error.. Its not under "Apps" in settings too.

I just tried installing again. This time with the downloaded apk from devhost, and it worked fine. Applied the theme and all.

Hi. This looks like a good theme, but I can't apply it. I checked md5sums, flashed it 3 times, wiped cache & dalvik cache and fixed permission. In theme chooser I only have system and achromatic theme options. Can anyone help.

I have within these hours installed the resurrection remix 2.6.1 ROM, and changed kernel to CM 3.0.32, using the the AROMA installer.
I am quite confident that I specifically marked "Pitch Black" during my custom install, but when finished, there where only "Acromatic", "Holo-Red" and "System". So I downloaded and installed "pitch black perfect", but no luck.
Any help will be appreciated.

Ok, firstly you appear to have do e everything correct. This theme won't appear in the theme chooser app. The difference of this theme are not dramatic in appearance, its all subtle.
In the last version, for RR2.6 i found i had to flash it twice, couldnt tell you why! In addition you can wipe caches prior to flashing and again after? This could help with this problem.
Be aware that I have not updated for RR 2.6.1 yet and it will overwrite the problems corrected by west in the systemUI. I will be updating as soon as I get my laptop fixed, having major trouble with it just now

Okay, so i gave it one more shot, wiping all there is to wipe... No luck. BUT!
1) as you noticed, I am NOT using the ROM which this theme is designed for, so that might have an effect.
2) As I rebooted my phone, I have a pin-lockscreen (not the sim-lock) which appears as the very first thing after boot screen. And that was what i would call pitch black. Then in a blink of an eye, the "system"-theme kicks in and changes it back to before i rebooted. (That is, if the thing I see really is pitch black-theme and not the standard "before-custom-android"-theme.

It required some time, but finally my Android Kitkat theme is at a good point and i wanted to share it with you!
REQUIREMENTS:
- You need a rooted phone to use this theme with Jelly Bean (that's a must)
- You need a ROM with the Theme Chooser Engine to apply it.
INSTALLATION:
1. Download the app and install it
2. Go to Settings>Themes (or the Themes section of your custom rom)
(If you don't have this option you are probably not using a custom rom)
3. Swipe and select Android Kitkat 4.4

Looks great on my LG with PacMan 4.3.1 only the battery symbol in statusbar doesnt change its color,its blue.

I tried to find a way to do that, but it seems that the status bar circle battery color uses the default holo blue,
and I can't change it to white because it would break the title text colors on holo white windows

I can't flash a 4.2 ROM as it is incompatible with my phone. tried installing 1.28, reboot. Uninstall, reinstall, reboot but it's still the same. I'm gonna test your new release now. If it still doesn't work. Well I guess it's really rom compatibility issue.

Just got a bug in the emergency dialer.
The number 1 and 0 are bigger compared to the other and also have that __ line after them.
Its not a major issue but just wanted to report it so the theme can be perfect.
I guess its because these numbers don't have any alphabets following them so leave a void space for that underline.

But one sucks - there is no cyrillic symbols into dialer =( Can you realize this? You can do separate resoursce for cyrillic (russian, ukranian, and other) dialer, how it was done into Betterbean themes.

But instead, it shows icons like this:
At this point it shows a H+ in the status bar, but the Quick Settings panel then shows a brown 3G icon.
Would you be able to take a look at this?

I think, this trouble of your ROM, your radio or your cellurar operator. For me (and others) all OK.
PS: You might want to change the first screenshot about the warning, because the error messages have changed: http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/c/54714/

HUH??
I am using CyanogenMod 10.2, when I use the System theme, I see H icons, but when I apply any KitKat theme, I see a 3G icon.
Icons are in the theme, not in the radio/cellular operator files. So I thought, it must be the theme.....
I am using a SGS2 which needs HDPI icons. I think that is the problem, because when I apply the theme, I get a warning about missing assets for my resolution.
I will wait to hear what the developer will say about this...

This is theme KITKAT, and it would be blue, not white. Use themes with white bars, not this.

These themes work on many different roms and devices, so If you find an issue post it and I will try my best to fix it, but i will need some details about the rom and specific apk... Really like this theme however i use either softkeyz or zip themer to theme my navkeys but when i install your theme it makes them go back to stock looking and they are unthemeable so if you could make this to where the navkeys arnt affected that would be great

@cerj, just tried your theme and you got quite an amount themed, good job!
One problem, animations are broken when you try flipping through settings. Not sure if these were your intentions though.

This is what my navkeys look like after ive themed them with the Softkeyz app or using zip themer. When i activate your theme it turns them back into the stock white navkeys and makes them unthemeable

The theme does not change anything in the notifications colors, this has been reported by only one other user too but i think its something rom or theme engine update related.
tested again and again with lots of apps notifications on euphoria and cm nightlies and no such issue have been seen on my side.

Problem in installing via playstore
Hey can you please mirror. It throws up an error
not installing via play store.. but congratulations on making it to the front page of xda..

It is acting very weird.
Installs from PlayStore with Home set to Trebuchet only for a Second or two (do receive Successfully Installed notification) but,
then the very next second comes back saying Failed to install.
Screenshots look great. But can't install via Play Store. Can you give a mirror or upload it to CM theme store too?

Looks absolutely wonderful...stunner infact...but it isn't installing for me too....It shows installed at first and then again says failed to install....No space problem as well...If possible please provide with a direct download link.....Thanks...Great work....

Please report me back, it it still shows the error, I'll rebuild the whole apk. Please dont leave negative reviews on play store, it worked for some and not for others. May be google play has some problem. I'll fix it soon.

iF IT DOESNT INSTALL, PLEASE REBOOT YOUR PHONE TO RECOVERY AND WIPE CACHE AND DALVIK AND THEN INSTALL IT.
