Hey I just rooted this phone. I don't know anything about rooting but I did manage to successfully root the phone without bricking it. Do you know of any custom roms for the device? My main reason for rooting was to install cyanogenmod 9 on my phone

you cannot for the love of you phone flash back to 4.4 , there is an line people who have bricked there device going back to 4.4 in both moto g 1st gen and here in second gen.
I regret to announce i am one of them from moto g 1st gen , still waiting for blank file to review my device !
Thread in the wrong section. There's a Question and Answers section within this sub-forum. Read the rules and use your common sense. But to answer to your question, yes, you can go back to KK by flashing stock with mfastboot, I've done it multiple times in the past coming from Lollipop.

I actually downgraded from android 5.0.2 to 4.4.4 just flashing the microcat rom and do a clean install

Appreciate the thought, but the LG G Watch R not only has an existing WiFi mod for it's stock ROM (thanks to Tasssadar) , but LeeDroid and intersectRaven have already produced a fully working port of the LG Urbane ROM for the LG G Watch R
I've been running it for a few days now myself!

How to root LG Urbane ?

Hello,
Is there anywhere where I can find complete binaries for a root device ?
I have seen here and there partly images (boot.img, recovery.img and system.img), but on trying to flash these images the watch does not boot.
Currently it boots with Google's factory images for LG Urbane:
https://developer.android.com/wear/preview/downloads.html
Whatever I did to try and root it failed.
I am not sure why I have troubles trying to root this device (LG W200 , starting with the above factory images).
I see there were others who did it, but with their binaries nothing works on my watch.

Any suggestion will be appreciated.
Regards,
Ranchu

no..no rec available and I can't root it from PC.
i found myself getting an easy and successful root with these images:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/watch-urbane/orig-development/rom-ext4all-skin1980-t3341598
even though they are like a minor update behind, the performance was better than stock + being able to disable stuff was good. just went back to stock awaiting aw 2.0 update and i am not too happy about the stock performance :/

Thanks,
but I think it's ROM for LG G, - not for LG Urbane.
So I'm not sure it will work with LG Urbane, Right ?
