[4.4.4][Stock][Noise Cancelling Works] [Fully Pre-Rooted] - Xperia Z2 Android Development

Intro;
Hello,
I tried the "niaboc79"'s stock 4.4.4, first of all I want to say "Thanks " to him. Thanks .
Some unlucky users like me, experienced that the noise cancelling is not working in that ROM. But the rest, everything works like charm.
Then I started to search a solution for Noise Cancelling issue, then Luckly I found one, I Guess.
I said I guess, because, For now, I tried my method on only my phone.I want to emphasise that, I'm not absolutely a developer of XDA, or something. I just somebody who has a computer knowledge, and that's all.Linux... It's not my thing..
So, I'll take NO responsibilty. Don't blame me. I just want to share that thing to you, because I took results
And please, Read the thread completely.
Installation:
What we need is ;
1-)Install a DualRecovery..Here If you already have, don't need. Thank you, @[NUT]
2-) You can create your own Pre-Rooted firmware from : here Thank you, @zxz0O0
Or just download the one that I made.
http://www.mediafire.com/download/io3c28y393x31kv/flashable.zip
Based on Official Honk-Kong ROM. 1281-5476 Nothing touched, I don't even know how to extract apps or smthng I Just converted TFT, to ZIP with PRF tool.
Everything what we need is included.(Dual Recovery, And Others.)
3-)Flash ZIP through your recovery.
4-)This step is for who is encountering problems with getting FULL ROOT.I found it thorugh completetly by coincident. At First, I coudln'T install XPOSED, It was saying something like that "It couldn't mount /system Because is not writable" . But root checker was saying that I was Root ? WTF ?
Now, we need "Easy Root Tool" Download it thorugh here Please Don't Ask me How it's gonna work .It's for old version, I know. and it's lame, I don't know why I thought that It'll work, but It fixes our root problem.
Connect your phone to the your PC, Make sure that USB Debugging is ON and ADB drivers are installed
5-)Click "Install.bat", Wait for the that screen;
Code:
.....
libzxploit.so created
doing the magic
creating vm (loljavasucks)

When you see this screen, press "CONTROL + C" and say "N" The process will continue,Like this;
After Sony RIL killer has been installed, reboot.
Congratulations!
You will have Full Root!
My best advice, If my flashed.zip is not working on your phone, You should create your own Firmware from your own Software CID! Right now; I'm in Turkey, Using Honk-Kong based firmware, No issues so far.Noise Cancelling working, Fully rooted...
As I said before, I'M NOT DEVELOPER. I CAN'T GURANTEE THAT IT'LL WORK ON YOUR PHONE.
I'd appreciate feedbacks!
Cheers!

thanx very much
I'll back to you later after trying it because my connection speed is only 1MB
what recovery I should use ? twrp or cwm or philz??

One more thing about Xposed framework installing issue.. did u try to install it in recovery method?
I think this rooting method has some problems with system files R W permission and u fix it by easy toolkit

Take your time.
-I Used TWRP
-I didn't wiped absolutely nothing from the begining. I flashed my rom directly into the older Niaboc's one. My appllications works without problems.
-Yes, That method works too, But I wanted to have full root just in case because my some other apps need that.
-And yes, you've got it correct. R-W permission fixed at Step 4.

Well Im on 4.4.2 now, what exactly to wipe in twrp before or after flashing ur rom?
I just wanna be sure 100%

Has anyone dirty flashed yet, and has NC fully operating? I won't be able to download until I get home from work, but wanna know.
Currently, I'm on rooted stock ROM, from my provider. I dirty flashed the Russian one and it was all stable, so I'm guessing it's the same here?

That's what I wanted to hear. Gonna report back later, whether it's working fine or not. If so, this will do well until Android L is out on our Z2.

It worked bu t i had to full wipe, can i restore data from existenz 3.1.5?

Pretty pleased that it works for others. Downloading it right now, so will be a little bit before I get to flash it - 1GB file and MediaFire do take a little bit longer, even with fast internet.

@shockss If I understand correctly, including the patched Dual recovery from @nortis thread here should remove the need to use easyroot to mount system r/w.
Also bear in mind if you have a less than stellar spec pc completing the task with PRFCreator will take considerably longer than 7 minutes (took me 30, but hey).
I'll let you all know how I get on after flashing my zip.

This rom from SHARP is amazingly quite stable and fast. I have been using this rom for last 4-5 days & never faced restart except once. And I am getting better battery backup since i have rooted it n reduced cpu clock via set cpu. Do u have any more suggestions...so that i can get maximum out of this ROM. but really thanks to the person who uloaded this rom and helped us to enjoy this amazing Fb variant. And also thanks to TJ sir for providing recovery which enabled me to root this ROM.
Sadly I'm not having the same experience as you. There have been constant phone freeze, random loss of contact information and occasional self restarts since the last weekend.
Can you explain how exactly you went about updating it?

Sorry bro i really cant remember what steps i followed to install this rom but i think i reseted my handset cleared cache, cleared dalvik cache and restored factory settings. Then i just executed "download nb0 from sd card". But i think stock recovery of MI 410 does not help installing this rom. I used "napstar touch recovery" to install this rom. Which has option to boot into system recovery. But don't forget to backup the original image folder of stock MI410 rom before going for this Rom. Coz this step helps a lot, if anything goes wrong. If u have already installed this rom just factory reset it clear all caches.
Good Luck... We have so many experts on this forum some one will definitely help u.

Actually I made it for myself ..so it was made to remove both bloatwares n gapps ....since I had the latest gapps link. If u update gapps from market again it makes one more app in data section so only use latest gapps zip . I had plan to create a new one which is useful to remove unnecessary apps n other files from all available roms ...sharp,wellcom,Spice, etc. Its not a big deal ...the script actually mounts the system partion n deletes apps ...but the hard part is finding names of apps you want to remove and flash it again and again to see it wont mess up the rom.
Now ppl r looking at ics n am wondering should I spend time on this .. now am learning about compiling kernels n all

[FIXED][Q] How to fix my phone after installing custom ROM.

Hello everyone. I wanna ask what i've done to make my phone unusable. Here's what happened two days ago.
I have with me a LG Optimus 2x P990, running Android version 2.3.4. I have decided to root it using SuperOneClick. The root was successful. I wanted to try some custom ROM. So I searched on Google for some custom ROM and I picked the CyanogenMod; and I followed the steps written on the site (except for the rooting). I cannot post the link, go to "Google" -> search : custom ROM for LG Optimus 2x -> First link to appear that says "CyanogenMod Wiki". And after that, when I rebooted my phone, it was stucked up in LG logo. I did remove the battery and put it on again, and the same thing happened.
I don't know what to do and I am looking forward whoever knows how to fix my phone. Any reply will be appreciated. Thank you! More power!
Hmm... we might need more details.
What was the version of clockworkmod you used?
Did you do a nandroid backup?
Which CM rom did you installed (I tried googling you search word, but it didn't work, I dont see cyanogen wiki as 1 of my results)
Also, CyanogenMod's 1st boot takes quite some time. maybe 5minutes. How long did you wait?
On the bright side, this is just a softbrick. And your phone is still very fixable.
The clockworkmod was v4.0.0.5. I didn't do any backups. Uhm, since I can't post the link here in some circumstances, I have tweeted you with the link. Woot! Is it just a softbrick? (Phew!! Cross-fingers!) Hope this will be fix soon.
wiki.cyanogenmod.com/wiki/LG_Optimus_2X:_Full_Update_Guide
@salisbury_steak : I think on the first reboot, I just waited for a minute or 2, and then got panic. I didn't knew.
Wow. 4005 is... really old. But... we'll update your CWM later. for now, what's the exact status of the phone? Is it bootlooping? at what part of the boot? (LG screen or CM circling animation?)
Life lesson: Always do a nandroid back-up.

Make sure the phone doesn't heat up too much btw. Keep checking the back of the phone after 5minutes.
Honestly, it was my first time to install custom ROM in my phone from the time i bought it. I really don't have the knowledge. My phones' status is stuck up on LG logo with the background animation. Okey, I just turned it on.

If you were able to successfully install CM, the LG boot will not be animated.
So are you seeing an animated LG or animated CM boot screen?
Also, how many minutes did you let it boot?
You get a animated LG logo after a successful cm flash..
First you get the white on black screen then with some blue stuff in the background...

Its an LG logo with a blue colored background screen. I think I only waited for 2 minutes or 1. And, as what you've instructed me last night to boot it up, and wait for 10 minutes, nothing's new, still the same thing happened. Stuck up on that part, until the battery drains.
Thanks for confirming. In that case, let's see if you can still flash the latest nightly...
Download the latest CM7.2 nightly from here: http://download.cyanogenmod.com/?type=nightly&device=p990 (It's the March 13 nightly)
Put that file in your sd card (You can use a card reader to do that in the meantime since you cannot boot up your phone)
Place the sd card back in your phone.
Boot directly into CWM. Do this by holding volume down and power. Do not let go until you see the CWM bootscreen. (Or once you see the 1st LG screen go away. Thing is, CWM boot screens are not animated, and may simply look like an LG logo with blue stuff behind it.)
Do the 3 wipes:
full (system) wipe
clear cache
go to advanced and clear dalvik cache
Install zip from sdcard, select your freshly downloaded CM7.2 nightly
Boot up

If that's the case, I recommend that instead of flashing a CM7 rom, flash Modaco's GR ROM first.
Modaco's GR rom is here: http://android.modaco.com/topic/343...-optimus-2x-with-online-kitchen-stockvanilla/
After which, perform steps 2 onwards please.
That should at least get you to a working ROM. (And not a bad one at that.)
After that, you can try Modaco's ROM first, or we can move you to CM7 if you really want to.

Are there any screenshots? Is this a Blur-based ROM based off of the Droid Ultra/Mini/Maxx 4.2.2 or is it a full AOSP ROM with everything working?

Any 4.2.2 gapps will work on this rom?
And...Thanks for the port :good:
Cool port :good:
To all: just for future reference, there are packages of official gapps for all firmwares since éclair days if you look fit it, and they work on all ROMs.

Hey guys, as of recently it has been tough to keep up with posting "OP Updated" whenever I update a ROM since I have quite a few ROMs I'm supporting on 3 different forums. So from now on, it is gonna be up to you to check the link in the OP for updates. I will be updating all ROMs regularly... So check back often. Thanks guys and ENJOY!

It's already included in the ROM, you just need to change it in the theme chooser. If you want it for a different ROM, I think the theme can be found on the Play Store.

Letting us know doesn't do any good, unless you post details. What were your installation methods? Did you try this on a lock or unlocked bootloader? Did you install GAPPs at the same time? See what I'm getting at? We can't provide help, if you don't provide details. 99% of failed installations are user error (I've done it myself, too). So, let us help you.
I installed this on my M with zero issues and many people have installed on other devices with zero issues.
i apologize i just assume that we are all on the same page i am 100% unlocked im using twrp i attempted flash just like any other rom, did a clean wipe of my device flashed rom by itself and it failed i never flash rom and gapps at the same time just a personal choice i guess lol

If you're flashing an AOSP ROM, you should always flash the GAPPs at the same time, especially on this ROM. This is SlimBean based and a lot of things aren't included in the base ROM, which are included in GAPPs. This usually applies to most AOSP ROMs. Sometimes, they won't boot at all without a GAPPs package because there are things in there that make the ROM work.
Check out the add-ons on the Slim website. I always flash the AIO package, but there are several to choose from. If you want just a basic package, use their simple GAPPs or you can use the Aroma AIO that allows you to pick and choose the apps that you want to install.

maybe i didnt explain it correctly or maybe i misunderstood what you were asking? ive noticed that when i flash a rom it gives me the option to flash multiples zip files at once which in my mind would be the rom and the gapps at the same time...i dont and have never done my flashing like that i flash the rom by itsself once that is succesful i then flash the gapps by themselves then i wipe cache then reboot:silly:

Yeah, that was unclear, but I'm with you now. With that being said, which GAPPs did you use? If all else fails, try to re-download and re-flash. Also, I usually use the multi-zip option and have never run into an issue with it, but I know how you feel. For the longest time, I wouldn't use it because I was scared I would put the wrong zip in the queue.

Hello i just flashed this rom and i failed somewhere, now i am stuck at the Sony bootup logo and i cant do anything. I have tried holding the power button but i wont turn off.
Can someone help me?
EDIT: Fixed it!
Please do not post reserved because you see others do so. This is the General Discussion, Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting thread for iHackers ROM and I presume the OP will be maintaining this thread to keep the development thread clean.
Anyone wanting the meaning of reserved this user pretty much sums it up:
TagEHeuer said:

retain for future use.
"roll out half the dough and reserve the other half"
synonyms: put to one side, put aside, set aside, lay aside, keep back; keep, save, hold, keep in reserve, hold back, retain, conserve, preserve, put away, withhold, earmark;
The reason it's all reserved it because they are writing a guide. The OP has reserved it to write a detailed Q&A support thread, and iHackers has reserved a post as he's the DEV who created it. This is so they can edit and write things later.

I can't seem to update the Supersu binaries... It fails every time. I've heard people mention a fix but I can't seem to find that zip.....
This might explain why I can't install xposed framework....
Would anyone know how to install the xposed framework? I am attempting to go into settings>ihackers>xposed
but whenever I try to install it I get the message:

need to flash i hackers kernel first?
or can we simply flash through TWRP? Many thanks - please be patient with me - I'm in transition between s2 - z1 and this is all way different and more complicated for a simple sammy user like me lol :cyclops:
also - when I have flashed the ftf with kernel/baseband will I lose TWRP recovery or will that stay so I can flash kernel from there?
I finally managed to flash ROM (I used monx recovery and it's all O.K) but....
My WIFI won't work now....
Anyone had that?
I'm flasing again but I remember someone mentioned bluetooth problem so ....
iHackers Pure Stock ROM 1.0
I successfully install the rom with full root and locked bootloader but my "File System Version in Software Info becomes like this Global-HSPA_14.2.A.0.290, it should look like this Global-LTE_14.2.A.0.290" my Phone model C6903...and Global-HSPA is model C6902.why is like that?
I get a force close when searching from Google now when I hit enter...
could use any help, thanks
Everything is working except su (binary not able to be updated even by using su-fix)!
XPosed re-install through recovery is possible and worked for me!
BTW:
ROM-thread still in USE by some People! I hope that dev-crew will have some looks into this post, too!

For Super user head over to the rom thread and check the last or second last page. It has Super user app which in zip format. Flash that in recovery and that should fix your super user issue. If that does not for some reason then search for my post in the rom thread and I have linked the Super user fix which also recovery flashable.

SuperSU zip package here!
Now we have it in this thread, too. Maybe iHackers or one of the contributors might link it in the OP to find it easier.
Dears!
Thanks for SuperSU! Will try it and hope that I won't lose (root, dual-cwm, data) something!

Question: Over in monx thread they also specify that you should flash latest sony ftf and exclude all except baseband and kernel, just as in this thread. Only there they dont provide the ftf in a trimmed form, like this awesome dev has My question is, if I were to flash monx rom, could I still use the ftf from iHackers thread?

I wouldn´t recommend it but you might try even if I wouldn´t. Just to be safe.. I don´t know if there´s a possibility to make changes to the ftf-files. If so, a dev might adjust some things needed for his ROM that could possibly cause errors in another. But that´s just what I assume.
M-Dawg said:
In other words, is the ftf from this thread basically the latest sony ftf in a trimmed form?

See above, as for me, I would not try. I guess that iHackers ftf just contains the needed parts (if so and I do assume that, then there would really be a possibility to change ftfs) as kernel, baseband and, for some reason, the bootbundle.
M-Dawg said:
And also: What is the "bootbundle" that is found in this threads FTF? should it be excluded as well if all you need is the kernel and baseband?
Click to collapse
Dunno what bootbundle is but I excluded it from flashing and just included kernel and baseband and v2.0 worked without any issues for me.
@DESASTER75
You shouldn´t lose anything. No data, no recovery (which can just be flashed via flashmode/fastboot afaik, not via recovery as it has to be included in a kernel and those need to be flashed using flashmode/fastboot) or anything else. I installed it when I flashed v1.0 as I had some issues, too (haven´t followed the OP exactly ). Root worked then, recovery was still there.

To be safe flash dual recovery zip after flashing Super user
Sent from my C6903 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
So Flash SU1.86 within recovery and dual-recovery directly After without loosing anything? Great, thx
Am I set up properly?
Basically I am running iHackers 2.0 on a locked bootloader which frankly, is running great.
Problem I have is due to Rom Toolbox, adaway and Viper4android not working, citing root access issues.
No such issues with GMD auto hide pro, which as most of you well know, requires root access.
I see a lot of talk on the Dev thread about full root coming on the next version for LB. Is this going to resolve all my issues or have I flashed wrong (which happened once so I wouldn't rule it out).
Other than these apps, everything runs perfect. I have access to both recoveries. Other than a monxdified screen popping up for a few seconds during boot, before the standard Xperia start screen displaying. I don't see anything I'd class as unusual. much love to iHackers for this ROM.

Firmware Update rolling out for AT&T Atrix HD (05/14)

RELAX!!!
Now I think they're releasing this update just to mess with us. Go to About Phone and check for updates. I haven't installed it yet, but most likely a patch for Heartbleed, or something.
Enjoy? :silly:

Unlocked bootloader patch as well as a heartbleed fix is my guess.....forgot to charge before bed last night and I only have 43% battery....Once I'm charged, I'll flash back to stock and I'll upload this new OTA for us all. Give me about 3 hours......luckily it's a rainy day and I don't have crap to do.

Probably just trying to prevent others from unlocking; like what the last Verizon JB OTA did to the XT926.
BUT
There's speculation on the RHD forums that the kernel used in the XT926 OTA will able to be used in unlocking the bootloader. Only time will tell, but that's good news at any rate.
now at 82% charge....
In any case i think this are good news, maybe the kitkat update its not that far away... update installed

That's kind of what I was thinking, but me using Philz to take the OTA lets me know that it does work as well as knowing that others shouldn't have a difficult time with it. Besides, if it did go bad I had a terminal open with all the fastboot commands ready to go...I was prepared for a soft brick.
