Half of reception icon and volume icon missing.

I just got my Kaiser today finally, and all of the sudden half of the reception icon at the top disappeared and all of the volume icon disappeared. Occasionally all of the reception icon will reappear but the volume icon doesn't, not even after a soft reset. I can still tap the location of where the volume icon is supposed to be and adjust the volume. Anyone know what could be causing that?
One more question, at first I thought it was the x-button overlapping the icons so I removed it from the start bar. Does anyone know how to get it back? - Nevermind, I turned it back on in the registry. Should have thought of that to begin with.
Here's a pic of the missing icons.
I have the same bizarre problem all of a sudden - were you able to resolve this issue?
Anyone? This is driving me nuts! I know the last thing that I did was to use CeRegistry Editor to fix/modify the Windows Media Player not playing fullscreen landscape issue! I've since changed back but my volume icon and half of my reception icon still missing!
Please help...
I had this problem once and I seem to recall using KaiserTweak to change the battery / time display, and/or changing the time control panel for displaying time on task bar.
Unfortunately, I can't recall the exact steps... Hope this helps.
Ah success! Thank you Alex! I used the Kaiser tweak to change my settings for 'Title Bar - Battery/Clock' to "Battery" and 'Title Bar - Clock Settings' to "Nothing". Not exactly sure what it was set to before but did a Soft Reset and all is back to normal! I'm still not sure what changed things in the first place but I'm happy now. Thanks again Alex!
It helped me too! Ty Alex!

Time on Today screen?

Just got my Kaiser yesterday and there's a slight inconvenience. There's no clock on Today Screen. I don't mean HTC Home plugin but the clock that was always in the top righthand side of the screen. It shows fine on any other screen except Today. Instead, there's a battery meter that I do not need.

Click to expand...
Click to collapse
with resco file explorer go
my registry/HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Shell
"ShowTitleBarClock"=1 (enable)
"ShowTitleBarClock"=0 (disable)
restart and ok
That worked just fine. Thanks a lot
You can also go into settings/system/clock the more tab and check "Display clock on title bar in all programs". to keep the clock visible most all the time.
Good info, but is there any way to take out the date and just leave the time?

Title bar messy on ATT Tilt

I installed HTC Home Plugin and the HTC Home Plugin Customizer and did a few things with it and my Bar status (connection bars with att network), sound icon, and time data is missing from the top of the screen. I went into customizer and said for it to display the time, but it doesn't work still and the weirdest part is is that the bar status icon is half there, you can see a little bit of the left side of it, but not any of the bars. Should I uninstall the Home Plugin/Customizer?
Thanks
Are you running any other software that might reconfigure the status bar display?

Weird black square blocking antenna and speaker icon

I just upgraded to the 1.93 ROM and I get this black square in the title menu that keep popping in and out when I tap the task manager shortcut.
Sometimes it just appears by itself, sometimes when I click the shortcut.
Anyone know what this might be?
i think this happens if both clock and battery icon is disabled, WM freaks out, i think that block is reserved space for icon that isnt there, then network icon moves to fill in free space but gets overdrawn :S try enabling clock or battery icons
Yep, that was it. I reenabled the battery icon in DiamondTweak and it went away.
Cheers.

Automatic dual zone clock when roaming?

Hi there, currently away on holiday and every android phone I've had automatically displays the time in my home country and the time in the country I'm in in the clock widget. A very handy feature.
The clock on my XZ2 hasn't done that and I can't find any option for it. I don't want a multizone clock because I don't want to set the time manually.
Wondering if this exists in the XZ2 or am I missing something?
The Google Clock has that setting, the stock Sony doesn't.
