[BOUNTY] AOSP 5.0 system.img+boot.img with fully working RIL (calls, texts, data) - Xperia Z2 Original Android Development

OK guys, so I'm taking the plunge.
I'm working on this myself but I can't make it work and I'm spending too much time I don't really have on this (there's a job waiting for me).
I'm putting up a STARTING BOUNTY of
[MOD EDIT] These are not allowed. [/MOD]

Are this type of thread is allowed in XDA? Hmm

Sure, bounty threads are being made all the time.. just search for "bounty".

Closing this down. We don't allow "bounties" like this, especially where there is no developer or the "developer" does not have a track record, etc.

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ!!!

Hi folks,
I've spent a few days looking over the forum and have to say. good work
There don’t seem to be many issues, everyone seems to be getting on in the spirit of XDA.
I'm a firm fan of ‘if it isn’t broken, don’t fix it’ so I'm not going to be flying in making huge changes or swapping things around. this is your forum I'm just here to help keep things nice. if anyone has any ideas of how to improve things in this area - (not XDA as a whole) please drop me a PM, and we’ll put it to a vote. if it’s a good idea I'll change it if i can or I'll push for the changes with the senior team.
While this may be a legacy forum it’s clear there is still a lot of interest and a lot of life in this device still keep up the work and we’ll keep the phone alive I want to start on the right foot so a FEW IMPORTANT REMINDERS
please take the time to read - and for regular users - re-read the forum rules. it’s a good thing to remind yourselves of how we work http://forum.xda-developers.com/announcement.php?f=341
All the rules are important but to focus on a few.
we are here to help and learn. people do make mistakes. I don’t like users being flamed for asking a question. I'd rather we educated and pointed people in the right way to help them for the future. it’s OK to say use search - it’s not OK to abuse people
I also don’t like people putting a lot of work into something and getting flamed either - a lot of the work posted is a work in progress - people share this out of the goodness of their heart and also so they can get positive comments on how to improve. Again it’s not OK to abuse people cos they shared a work in progress.
sharing work - many developers are happy to share their work with others and in some cases one persons work is used as a base by others. - If you want to change someones work and then release it as your own - ASK FOR PERMISSION FIRST AND THEN LINK TO THE ORIGINAL DEV IN YOU RELEASE!!!
don’t post or link to warez - they will be removed.
Please report any issues or concerns to me as soon as you can using the report button or by PM- I'll deal with them.
Thanks
Chris

AOSP Rom's is there a point?

MODS PLEASE MOVE THIS POST. I AM SORRY FOR POSTING IT IN THE WRONG SECTION.
I don't mean to be a downer on people who've done the hard work in porting or making a working custom rom but is there point to AOSP Roms if there is no working camera? I mean isn't it a pretty big functionality that needs to be working for the ROMS to be actually released as working?
Perhaps maybe its just me who thinks if you buy the Z1 based on the fact that it has a good camera you'd want that one minor feature.
Just a thought I decided to share.
(PS: When I say camera isn't working I mean complete functionality not "It just can't focus. It does work!"
Now you have seen the point of the Q&A thread (i.e. its a place for posting questions that is better than the original dev forum) I think its time to answer your question.
the point is this is a developers forum, for developers and by developers. Not every single rom in this forum is a finished article but are works in progress. They are not here for you to be able to pick through and make your phone "cool"
They are here as on going pieces of work for people to help develop and work on.
Please read this
This is the highlight of that post and should be the last word in this thread
XDA-Devs is about developers & hackers helping each other and working together to get the most out of our devices by understanding them better than most.
XDA-Devs is not about helping everyone who wants a "Kewl bit of kit" make their phone better than the guy next to him.

Well, work done now doesn't have to be done in the future anymore so if they iron out all the issues already that saves a lot of time in the future right? Sure, without a working camera there will not be a lot of people using them, but I still hope sony fixes this issue in the future and when they do we at least have a bit to choose from already.
That and the fact that it might be more for themselves, to develop and get some experience or work on things, then for the end user.

Well said my friend.
THREAD CLOSED

[bounty] get HD voice / advanced calling working on aosp/cm

Want to start a bounty for getting advanced calling working on aosp/cm roms.
I'm sure I'm not the only person who uses this feature.
I'm broke so my pledge will be $10 (maybe more if I can swing it)
Who else?
(mods please move if this is the wrong section - I figured it was a developer level issue so I put it where the developers would see it quick)
Once again wrong forum. Post should be in general not Dev forums
I'd contribute too if someone got this working.
