I'm running mythis latest build, incoming calls aren't working. Seems to have been a problem with jflte as well. apparently has been fixed by now. other than that no bigger problems.

bugs i found :
*cannot hang-up calls.
*no incoming calls while talking with somebody.

I love this stuff! This is a very great work. Thank you!
I am on build from 24.11. and i miss the reboot options by pressing on/off button. I must use a extra app to boot into recovery.
And my 64gb sdcard is not readable.
Something is draining my battery. I will take a look on it, and then I will report.
Greetings from Germany.

My bugs:

- could not change ringtone (same like notification)
- could not access 64gb sd-ext
- IR without function.
- found no cm option for customizing xD
I will change this post, if I find something more.

Screenshot as usual in android 4+, Volume down+power.
For IR, mine works (i use app "samsung ir universal" whit my dsl camera )
Switch tones? I use an mp3 like ringtone or nitification sound, no problem at all.
I don't know if it's the problem, but in the original thread of the porting, it's written that from last version it's necessary format system before flash.
I do it, and all works well except mic in handsfree mode

To root you have to flash supersu from chainfire. Except for mic in handsfree, all seems to work well for me (oh, i can't use ncf in Italy, so i don't know)

How can I install the latest build? I download it but it is .md5sum, I only managed to install cm-12-20141122-UNOFFICIAL-jactivelte.zip with cwm, it looks great but i can't receive calls.

All working. except for bluethoot in car (some lags) and speakermode (there's a way to fix but only for user whit experience in android)
I assume you're on stock Rom, right? And you have int version i9295 (nor i537)
There are some passages to do:
1)download and install CWM recovery
2)download and install Rom
just follow this guide to understand Recovery mode and download mode
http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...to-start-recovery-mode-download-mode-t2949209
to flash recovery follow this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2752469
To flash Rom, simply download Rom and Gapps from thread, and grab supersu from this link
http://download.chainfire.eu/636/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.37.zip?retrieve_file=1
Then copy all file on sd, go in recovery mode and do
1)Wipe Data / Factory Reset
2) Flash Rom
3)flash gapps
4)flash supersu
5)reboot and if recovery ask to fix root, tap NO
Enjoy (and don't forget to thanks all people in thread above, and me of course )

How is the battery life compared to the stock?

This is a general discussion thread for "Cyanogen Mod 10 (CM10)" for the Sony Xperia T (LT30p) aka "Mint"
Original Dev Thread Here
This is NOT for cm10.1 (4.2+ JB). A discussion thread for 10.1 is HERE
Credit to FXP team Bin4ry, Defer, Kali, Jerpelea
Also credit is due to many other Devs for their tireless work on CM and specifically for Sony devices including but not limited to:
Codeworkx, Androxyde, DoomLord, tilal6991, Entropy512....This list could go on but I'll stop here for now - pm me if you think i should add specific people.! (I don't actually know who all these wonderful people are!!!)
I have mailed people from time to time and found everyone here at XDA to be very helpful, but I have also seen people asking the same questions as me, just in the wrong places or without searching.
So this thread, like any other of it's kind, is just to try and direct a bit of this traffic away from the Development thread.
Please use this thread to ask questions, share knowledge or just state an opinion - so long as you are not inconsiderate, condescending or outright rude - anything goes!
We would all welcome insights and advice from seasoned users or indeed veteran developers, although FXP will most likely not read this often, if ever - so please don't ask them direct questions here!
Personally I don't know much at all about CM10, I am only on my 2nd smartphone having come from an Xperia X10 running CM7.2 - so I hope to learn stuff here too!
Thread Basics:
~~can I install this rom with a locked Bootloader~~ ~~NO~~
~~can you tell me when **** will be fixed~~ ~~NO~~
~~slow download, can you mirror?~~ ~~NO~~
~~can i use sony launcher/timescape/fb intergration on this ROM~~ ~~NO~~
~~can I ask a question?~~ ~~YES~ as someone once told me "Posing a question per se is not stupid. Posing a stupid question is"
Always back-up your current ROM
Nobody here is responsible if you mess your bond phone up, all ROM's, even the best ones, are used at YOUR OWN RISK
Logs, Screen shots, ROM version, apps used or conditions underpinning any questions usually result in quicker answers!

FAQ:
1 where can I download the latest FXP release? download page on FXP site
2 How do I install? FIRST TIME : Follow this instruction
information about flashtool, fastboot, cwm recovery are widely available. you could Start here
__ 2.a If you already have unlocked your bootloader (which you will need to have done to use CM10 Duh!) AND already have a working Recovery, you only need to use the "install from SD card" option in recovery to install this Rom - thanks to schaggo for pointing this out. However:
__ 2.b It is known that if you are coming from a Stock based ROM you will probably need to format your SD card(s), apart from being time consuming this is not a big deal - just have a back-up of your card contents on your computer, format your card(s) from within the rom or with recovery, then copy your contents back to your card(s)
3. Where do I get Gapps? Try here, you need a 4.1 apps file
4. What is CM, where can I find out about it? Start here and use google for further information.
5. Where can I find more info about FXP? Here is their homepage
6. Where is the Changelog? Here, lists current release and progress for all supported devices
7. How do I report a bug? Here, device, release and issue will be useful information
More to be added as and when...

Good initiative! I installed CM10 after one month of using original ROM and after almost 2 weeks of CM10 I can say it was a wise decision. I am on FXP 150 and most of the issues are fixed. Still waiting for NFC (though I don't have the tags yet) but everything else is OK. What I miss is the original Album app of Xperia T from latest firmware. I tried to install it but it's not working for me (run the installer, the app is not seing the sd card, through CWM or copy to /system/app and changing the permissions, the app stops). Anyone tried? Any hints on how to make it working?
Battery is OK but I am using Google maps that is eating 40-50% of it. Any hints on how to decrease this and still use Maps?

Thanks for getting things started!!
I will update posts 2&3 in the next couple of days, especially with any fixes that are found for things like album..
I would also suggest checking out other Xperia forums of cm10 for app ports, for example the S forum might have already managed it, I just haven't had time to check!!

Ok, If this is not answered soon i will re-flash cm and check - i suspect there is an option in CMsettings, also is possible with apps like titanium backup.

have you formatted your SD card for use with CM? I read that people were having problems with ext.sd card storage and that you needed to back-up your files, wipe and format card in cwmRecovery and then transfer your files back - then you should be able to move apps to SD

Hello all.
Quick question about flashing the kernel.
When I first installed the rom I used the fastboot.exe in command prompt to install the boot.img file as per instruction on op.
Am I right in thinking if there's an update to the kernel I don't need to go through that process again because it will be flashed in cwm with the rom? Or will we be told to flash the new kernel using fastboot.exe in the changelog?
Cheers,
Lunar.
Sent from my Xperia T using xda app-developers app
You usually are told when there is a new kernel to flash, changelog will say something about kernel update.
Cwm does not flash kernel, only Rom

Thanks for the info.
I just thought I remembered when I had the x10 the fxp were trying to work out a way of flashing kernels without flash mode. It was quite a risky process though.
Also it looked like fxp151 had a different boot.img to the one included in fxp148 (the first one I flashed), so I flashed the boot.img again from the later release and it had 141212 as the date.
Maybe just me.
Cheers for the info.
Lunar.

No problem, I too came from x10, I remember I think fxp bricked one by trying it!

Auf few questions:
Fxp is not official Cm10 right?
Where is the official thread with a buglist / changelog of the stable Cm10 Version for example?
On get.cm I can download nightlies every day and the stable version too but I have no idea who is working on it and how the process is going...
I'm a bit confused since I thought codeworkx and others own this phone and are working in Cm10 support??

[ROM] SKINNY KAT 4.4.2 I9505G ML4 [GOOGLE EXPERIENCE]
Welcome to the Skinny Kat ROM for the I9505G Google Edition Galaxy S4. This ROM is a lite version of ML4 based off of SamuriHL Odin package. ( Thanks SamuriHL ). Skinny Kat includes the Google Experience Launcher with Search, “Ok Google”. In order to package this ROM I used disk internals to unpack the system.img.ext4 from the Odin firmware package and then made my cuts and additions from there, everything else was packaged up in Dsixda Android Kitchen, thanks dsixda, also Thanks to wilbarger for his tireless help in resolving issues and testing.
PLEASE NOTE: I have not tested this myself because I no longer have the I9505G, I am running the N5 now. I am planning on adding some custom features and modifications to Skinny Kat so if you are interested in being a tester please let me know. occuapational_hazard & SamuriHL have been helping out but its good to have a few more because we all have busy lives.
[ PLEASE DO NOT ASK IF YOU CAN FLASH THIS ON ANY OTHER PHONE BUT THE I9505G]
[Disclaimer] I nor anyone on this forum or XDA is responsible if you brick your phone; lose your job, or life as we know it ends. Modifying any phone comes with risk. You assume all those risks so please read and review the instructions carefully and if your still lost then use the search button. If your still lost ask someone we are here to help.

Merry Christmas RESERVED. Screenshots coming
Thanks for the Christmas present. Am downloading and will test. Glad to see some of the junk removed.
On first glance, when I tried to check an voice mail message, the screen goes black and it never goes to voice mail. This may be an issue with my phone as I cannot get rid of the voice mail notification icon no matter what I try. I do not have any messages waiting, but the icon will not go away even with other ROM's now.
EDIT: Just did a full wipe of phone and reinstalled your ROM. I tried to make a call and get black screen followed by short vibrations and after 20 seconds the screen comes back on. Cannot make calls. Still working on the VM icon. EDIT: Got rid of the VM icon. Phone dialing still borked.

Is it possible that you can Odin back and delete the apps only ( not the wallpapers ) from TB then install GE launcher ( not search ) and convert it in TB to a system app. Then create a folder on your desktop and open up a command prompt inside that folder and type "adb pull system" ( without quotes) and upload the file and send me a link? Lmk. Thanks Wil.
Oh and before you pull the system image and after you delete the apps and install GE launcher you would make sure everything still works this would help me figure out what's causing issues on my end.

I think TWRP is breaking some things during install can you try cwm recovery from the I9505G thread and see if it is causing the same problems
Seems 4.4 keeps having issues once it's installed and it varies as the problems are reported. Please post in here

I did a full wipe and tried with both TWRP and CWM recoveries. Both went into a loop at the Google logo. Restarted in recovery and wiped again with the same result.
By the way, the issues with the boot loop that I am having are NOT with the ROM posted in the OP. That loads and boots for me, but I cannot make or place calls with it.
If anyone can try the ROM in the OP and report back your results, it would be greatly appreciated.

the boot.img and /system/lib/modules folder.
You can pull the folder via adb or use a root explorer to copy it to your sdcard.
For the boot.img you can use adb
Code:
adb backup-f boot boot.img
Or as far as i know flashify is also able to make a boot.img backup
The network disappears and log back on for a few seconds Later..

Okay i will do a factory restore when i have time for the d950.
I'm pretty sure Playful God got a recovery to work on KitKat with his app but not sure. If so can you just flash back to a 4.2 backup if on KitKat or should I just use the LG Tool. Been awhile since I've done that. Heck been a little while since I flashed anything. lol

So far the recovery on kk only works with his specialized ROM CM 11, a WIP meant mainly for developers, and very advanced users at this point who can contribute to the development process or at least effectively troubleshoot problems.

Yea I've been following his thread. Just wasn't sure.
I see finally some developments in ROM custom versions for this phone either on CM 11 or some other as this one...
It seems that custom recovery TWRP and Freedom Flex are giving us more custom Roms now, and hoping that it will expand on AOSP and Omega Roms as well...

I'm using the latest build and even if I dont have clock freezes, I have another problem. The clock seems to be "slow", in about 12 hours it gets out of sync with even 2 minutes... If I reboot my phone the clock is correctly synced, but after a while the problem repeats.

I have the same issue. Dis- and the reenabling WiFi brings the clock also back in sync, for me at least

ClockSync
Or you can use 'ClockSync' from Playstore. Here you can manual adjust the time (just by clicking a button) or you activate automatic mode where you can select how often ClockSync should correct your time.

I know about ClockSync, but it won't work without an internet connection. And that's not solving the problem, just masking it...

I agree. Since I don't have a permanent internet connection, this is no solution.

Golden-guy was write in his rom thread that this problem can cause if you have installed Greenify, I am testing last release without greenify and so far I have not this problem (NFC version of S3 mini)
I never used Greenify or similar apps .
An option would be to make this sync more configurable so that you can amend the sync strategy according to your needs. Will have a look at that, what would work out best for you guys.
PS: Like @benstyle1 has already mentioned, enabling data (mobile or wifi) does a new time sync. So, there's no need to reboot to get a fresh time.
Update withouyt flashing?
Hi,
is there any possibility to update to this versión without having to delete the previous versión?
I currently have the omni-4.4.4-20141011-golden-HOMEMADE
Do i need to rep[eat all the process from the begining ?
Or is there an easyer way :?
I am not having that prpblem .... I had stock rooted by me, than full wipe, and cache +dalvik, install omni and its all ok. The only problem is that i cant see nor add new contacts to SIM.
Is that normal? I did not see that on the description...

Best way (to be sure that everything works) is a Clean install. But you can try also this "dirty" installation:
- Wipe Cache, Dalvik and system
- Flash OmniROM
- Flash actual GApps
- If you have installed other Apps/Prog's as flashable ZIP's via recovery (for example KERNEL), you have to install them also again.
With this procedure you will keep your Apps with all data's and settings.
Works for me all time. Only after the 3rd or 4th "Dirty" installation I make a clean install again.

It's also possible to flash without GAppas:
- Wipe Dalvik & Cache
- Flash OmniROM
- Reboot
But it increase the risk that something will not work properly...
The developers from SlimKat recommend also to wipe system: http://www.slimroms.net/index.php/installation (see item 2)
And I think this is teh same for all CustomRom's.

In TWRP it's correct: Wipe / Advanced Wipe / System
It will be mounted again automatically.
But then you have to install GApps and other ZIP-files which you use.
Ok.
Dirty wiped.
Gapps installed and removed enoyings like games and music, videos etc from google.
I did that because i wanted the apps to be integrated.
Also kept messages and hangouts.
Seems good.
Rom is wonderfull.
Battery increased life. Nice.

[MOD][UPDATED 09/05] Smooth Scrolling Mod for COS12/12.1 Roms

DISCLAIMER
I'm opening this thread because the author of the original Scrolling Cache Mod thread seems to be inactive.
Though I always provide a flashable zip to revert the changes, always do a NANDROID backup FIRST! Consider every zip file I provide as untested. By using this mod, you're doing it at your own risk!
This mod is intended for COS12/12.1 *only*. Please, don't ask me to provide this mod for non-COS12/12.1 roms.
Also, please don't ask for ETAs.
Click to collapse
WHAT IS THIS?
If you feel like your device is lagging when scrolling an app or else, it is because Android uses a cache to store info related to the "Smooth Scrolling" function. This mod aims to remove those lags by disabling the Smooth Scrolling Cache system-wise(read more about it HERE). Don't expect miracles, but you will slightly notice the difference.
HOW CAN I INSTALL/REMOVE IT?
Download the 2 files related to your firmware to your internal sdcard. Reboot to recovery and flash the corresponding zip file. Example:
COS12.1_XXX_SSM to install the mod
COS12.1_XXX_SSM_Revert to revert the changes (e.g. if something goes wrong or to clean up the system for an OTA update).
Where XXX is your firmware name (or the latest 3 digits, for older releases). Then wipe cache/dalvik-cache and reboot.
!!!ALWAYS INSTALL THE MOD CORRESPONDING TO YOUR FIRWMARE!!!
WHERE CAN I FIND THIS MOD FOR OLDER FIRMWARES?
Look for it through the original Scrolling Cache Mod thread.
THANKS
zephiK for providing the mod thus far.
fix-this! for providing a comprehensive guide on how to make this mod on your own. You can do that too. Yes, YOU!
UPDATE 09/05
Uploaded mod for YOG4PAS1N0 (COS12.1).
I've decided to change zip name to include full firmware name to make it more clear (older release still has the latest 3 digits). I'm also willing to inform you that, as I'm typing, this mod is totally untested. I'm still providing this mod for those of you who might want to try it, but I felt COS12.1 to be sort of "snappier", so I'm still not using this mod. Let me know if you notice improvements in scrolling or if you still sense lags (especially in your browser).
Cheers! :highfive:
Oh yea! Grabbed

Here! With the linked guide, I put together the scrollercache mod for the official Oneplus CM12.1s ROM (YOG4PAS1N0) using the zips provided in the first post as the installer of choice. Works for me, but I *may* always have messed something up. Follow the rules in the first post!

@Jadelor Thanks mate! I haven't read your post in time, so I've just updated mine.
Feel free to use Jadelor's or mine in the first post.
@thunderteaser I got a problem! I succesfully flashed COS12.1_YOG4PAS1N0_SSM and suddenly WhatsApp doesn't work anymore along with other apps, so I flashed the revert zip to fix that, nothing goes wrong during the operation but the result doesn't change! Any ideas? I'm on CM12.1 YOG4PAS1N0 modded by @Sultanxda

I assume what you mean by the Sultanxda mod is his unofficial Cyanogenmod 12.1 ROM? It is a completely different ROM from the perspective of this mod, and its files likely differ, so you probably messed your ROM up and the revert zip can't help you, since it only works for the official ROM too. Sorry.
Wow, I was really sceptic about this mod and I thought that the 1+1 didn't need it. But now that I have installed it, I regret that I haven't installed it before!
