That is the screen when the firmware is downloaded, and you get the option to install it
Could you make a screenshot of the about-screen, like this:

Here you go

did anyone flash yet?

I'm getting to via ota my phone is from Germany

This it what it says

Installed, rooted, debloated testing...
dank je wel!

Wish they would just release Lollipop instead of incremental Kitkat updates.

App list (left button) seems to be much faster now.
Also there are some reports about better reception.

Anyone else install then re root without issues?

Lollipop is riddled with bugs right now, I'd rather they wait for 5.0.1 or something like that, 5.0 seems to still need a whole lot of work.

I have install it and root and no problem here! In my opinion it's a little smoother

Hi guys,
bit of a newb question as this is my first phone with knox (come from Galaxy S3).
Does flashing the full update via ODIN trip knox and will it wipe all user data i.e pics etc..?
Cheers

Huh, maybe this will improve the lag issues some folks with 8.4s have been seeing?

The only improvement I've noticed so far is that youtube videos load instantly, which I believe you stated when you got your update. Maybe things are slightly snappier too, but that could just be in my head. Other than that I can't say I've noticed anything else.

It looks like the T705 is a revision behind, because I updated my 8.4 LTE to NF8 yesterday. And when I look a list of stock firmwares at Sammobile, it confirms the trend. Could be just the same update with different number.
Don't see any more improvement on the video playback.

Besides, would you mind sharing your step by step method to flash this stock firmware? Really apologize to bother you with these questions. Thanks a lot for your kind assistance.

OK, sooooo, I'm new to Samsung and Kies and Odin.
Have everything down, got firmware on Odin, press start and nothing happens.
Except on my phone in download mode there a big yellow triangle with à '!' On it that says, do I want to flash a custom ROM press volume up, down to cancel.
That yellow triangle is a frightening thing... Looks like a biohazard warning! I canceled. Am I supposed to say yes and press volume up?
Does the phone explode and release a sinister purple haze?
Please advise.

I did upgrading from stock kitkat using odin v3.09 (dirty flash). Wifi and internet speed feel much faster. If we upgrade with dirty flash method, our existing language still continue and it is upgrading only the system firmware. Will see the battery performance.

Should be a bit faster, but it is hosted out of Europe, so speeds will be subject to your ISP and their international data links.
I think the update was only a couple megs
Thanks OP for posting this. Yes this is the same firmware as the OTA update is when you first get your phone. Nice to have this firmware in case of any issues. The download takes 2 to 3 hours so be patient
Hola
Can someone please confirm that given that Knox is still tripped even after flashing stock firmware, what this actually means for warranty /returns?
I understand that Samsung Pay is unavailable and similar security features are not going to work with Knox being off when we root, but I do worry if Samsung will deny any support even if we go back to stock firmware.
"So what you want me to do 'bout that?"

As far as I understand from reading around on these forums, Tmobile itself doesnt care for if knox is tripped.. Samsung on the other hand is likely to not have any support for a "modified" device.
Now as far as warranty for Tmo, a nice "accidental drop" that shatters something will be under your warranty if you have insurance on your phone through Tmo.
T-Mobile or Assurant couldn't care less about a tripped Knox flag. However, it's always a wise idea to return exchange/ jump upgrade a phone with its stock recovery. Often times, they'll factory reset the phone in front of you and you really don't want TWRP popping up doing the wipe.
I have heard of people returning galaxy phones running CM, but again that is not the wisest of ideas.
How edge firmware gets released soon

Nothing in sammobile.com for Indian varient
Still waiting...
Thank you
The update is pretty good actually..i have seen some users saying that it's terrible...but in my opinion
The super slow mo is great TBH....i know there is no auto or manual mode....all you have to do is to tap on record button and it'll start recording and after 8 seconds it'll automatically stop the recording and save it(the slow mo will be recorded between these seconds)... it's good considering the fact that it was one of the most highlighted feature of galaxy S9 and here we're enjoying 90 percent of that feature.
Trust me....wait for an awesome moment and then tap the record button..and you'll get the best result..
AR emojis are obsolete tho..?
My emoji maker keeps crashing when I touch "Create my emoji". I am on Indian firmware, updated to September security patch, non rooted. Am I missing something?
Has anyone got this update yet? I thought 9.0 was supposed to be pie but it says oreo. Sammobile has CRG9 listed as the current version under the sprint model.
I want to take it but won't chance losing hotspot mod.

You're kind of reading it wrong it's android 8.0 and the Samsung Experience is 9.0 which is formerly Touchwiz just renamed.. Updating could cause you to lose your hotspot for sure!
