Till now nobody has experienced reboots so no reboots yet

Is random reboot fixed in new update? Does anybody tried it

SIM toolkit is not available
Hi I have downloaded and installed carbonrom on my redmi 1s mobile and its really very smooth and fine. Ihave facing some issues:
1. Mobile Data connection is not establishing
2. Missing sim tool kit
I have tried all the solutions for installing sim tool kit but unfortunately still its unable to install.\
Can you provide a stk.apk for this custom ROM and a brief tutorial for installing into system directory.

Redmi Note is MTK based device hence expect least development over such devices has MTK Based Chipset Development is least due to fact that no Kernel sources and MTK are not developer friendly whereas Redmi 4G is Qcom based device hence developer friendly but until sources release its still long way to go

no recording sound problems like roms based on cm!!!
very fluid and no lags
only the camera stoped and i had to reboot my device once and minor bugs when unlock with the home button
ART working fine and would be well that add themer or something like that

More users solve this problem installing Boeffla kernel for Omnirom (u can use 2.4 beta7 NG)
For other features we have wait that Lollipop sources become open.
Why the f*** are the I9300 roms threads are in I9305 section?

Solve camera problems and personally I use Boeffla. Stock kernel is poor of improvement and no more stable for aosp based rom.

Default is good but if u download boeffla config app too, u can menage kernel like u want.

Please install again the rom with full wipe and if the problem persist, flash other kernel (the best is boeffla 2.4 beta7 NG for Omnirom).

cm recovery not working
after flashing your latest build released on 1st jan 15 it still has got the cm recovery that dat doesnot let me flash anything as youve mentioned in one of your latest post that youve rebuilded the boot.img that includes TWRP but i found out that its not so plz guide me to a solution....and it still not supports the latest superSU version too

first of all thanks for this great ROM.
Overall the ROM works very smoothly.
I just want to report sometimes I am missing the sign for LTE, 3g, etc. If I have turned on my mobile data.
Also I can't flash superSU . I am getting an error report.

Yes, but..
You have to get your unlock-key from sony using flashtool before you can flash this tho.. Look at doom's guide..

Few mods might work. But not advisable.

You need the ROM package in the phone storage.
Reboot to CWM, make a backup of your current system (1 or 2) if necessary, then wipe data/factory rest (wipes data and cache), wipe dalvik cache, and wipe system (1 or 2). One that is done, install the zip. GApps are included in ROM, so after it installs, reboot.

Do not use powersave.
On demand - less responsive, saves more power.
Interactive-more responsive, uses more power.
In relative terms only.
Use the one you like.

Using Mokee ROM, i have a VERY SLOW charging 4-5 hours from 20% to 100% .Is it due to ROM or Kernel? In MIUI ROM i had like 2- 2.5 hours charging time.
i got no signal after flashing this one. i forgot that this is not compatible for aosp roms. am i right?

try stock kernel & see if you have same charging time
error while installing the zip!!
when i try to install the zip in cwm (r11) it is giving me error : "e:footer is wrong signature verification failed"

Download the latest build and twrp recovery given there and flash!

I have stopped development for now due to less time for it and also I don't own the device. Will think of it after we have Stable Pie and work on LOS 16.0 then. If I get some help then things can be better.

People generally don't think of that and most of the users won't do. Also its Mediatek the development process would be itself hard and also fixing bugs would be troublesome

its hard process i agree but not impossible bro, many micromax devices aslo run on mediatek but almost all hv custom roms thn why not our device?? due its new upgraded chipset??

Firstly, those builds are Ports and not compiled from Source. Also after Android 7.1.2 Nougat and Treble Enbaled devices things have changed and not easy as they used to be. When I worked for Meizu devices I was successful in booting AOSP ROM for 2-3 devices but that not how things work now!

I'd like to volunteer to contribute in the dev process. I haven't ever done anything related to custom ROMs but I'd like to try and invest a few weeks/months into it. Invincible-Venom, it'd help me a lot if we could connect via some IM service (discord? or smth).

Thanks for showing interest pal but I need some experienced guys to join me. Firstly, you try building ROMs for any other device which you own from scratch(Build trees, make them stable) then you will learn how things work. Also this is Mediatek device with Treble enabled so things are not easy here.
