Hi all, in Portugal there are 3 Main CellPhone carriers, 2 of them sell the Galaxy Tab and thy dont require a data plan but they lock the galaxy to they SIMs.
Is there a way to unlock the carrier?

You can try this but there's no guarantiee it will work.
Probably depends on if it's locked from factory or locked by software.
Just go to a phone unlocking store and pay 20 euro to get it unlocked. I got the official Samsung unlock code for my mini today..delighted I am. A Phone unlocking store will have access to Samsung servers to sort you out.

There is plenty ok UK sites that will sell you the unlock codes for any country s3 mini. Just yahoo it and find out. £15 or £20 is all it costs. I paid €20 from an irish site which had the same database as the UK ones.

i ve wait 2 month since i have the phone for an app to unlock like on GS3 but untill now nothing
i ve seen a lot of site to unlock and someones ask for a cable to do it and other no
i m from portugal and i ve used this spanish site
search for "movical.es"
it s very fast and almost the same price on the other sites
i received my unlock code in 7 mins
i recommend this one fast and secure
SGS3 mini from SFR france and now on TMN portugal

flashing firmwares won't get your device unlocked cause simlock is stored on other partition,as i know we can't unlock this device for free

I had a hard time getting this Vodafone.ie phone unlocked until I tried your suggestion. Movical provided me with a code in less than ten minutes for 12e.

I have read the sticky thread "Galaxy s3 mini unlock jellybean WORKING!!!!" and it does NOT work for my Galaxy S3 Mini GT-I8190N and seemingly, niether does it work for many others.
I am running Samsung Stock android 4.1.2 with the I8190NXXALL3 stock ROM (not rooted).
It is locked to the UK O2 network and I wish to use a UK Vodafone SIM. When I boot it up with the Vodafone SIM it asks me to enter the SIM Network Unlock Code.
Many websites offer the code for various extortionate prices but this is a spare phone I wish to use for work and has a cracked screen so not spending money on it.
Would be grateful if anyone can help.

I have a problem with my samsung g. S6 and its that after been traveling abroad for 3 months, now that I'm back in the UK, my phone wont connect to the mobile network.
I searched in the internet for all the possible solutions but none seems to work.
I bought my phone second hand on march, it was network locked and i unlocked it with the unlock pin from a trusted site on internet,it is not blacklisted and I rooted and installed tyranus rom in it. since then i have been using it for several months without a problem, on september i went travel to spain and the us and the phone worked fine in the uk, spain and the us.
But when I arrived to the UK a couple of days ago is when the problem stared.
I tryed all the possible solutions I can find in the net but nothing did works.
Any Ideas? Could it be a rom problem? Shall I try a difernt rom?

Samsung Pay finally released in the UK with more than year delay.
I have a Galaxy Note 5 which I bought from Dubai (Version SM-N920CD) , this is the dual SIM version.
I am trying to activate Samsung Pay to my device in order to pair it with my card from Santander but I got the message
" You cannot use Samsung Pay with a SIM card from other countries. Insert a SIM card from Korea"
What type of joke is this???
How can I use the service in my phone??
Device is stock and never rooted. Downloaded latest version of of Samsung Pay .apk manually since it is not allowed to do it through Play Store.
