Anyone have the Casemate Naked Tough case? - Verizon Motorola Droid Turbo Accessories

How do you like it? Can it be removed easily? Does it scratch easily? Does Qi work well through it?

Duzign Slim Cases

Hey guys. I just received two Duzign valor cases (blue and red). These are seriously amazing in terms of look and feel for thin cases. The valor serious had a soft matte finish. The look is similar to seido surface colors. My cases are cut out perfectly without any random sharp edges.
I have two elago cases (hard plastic smooth white and soft matte black) as well and the Duzign feel and look way better. The elago cases are way more slippery esp the matte black (it also has bad cutting with two random sharp edges at the top showing that it wasn't perfectly cut).
I also own uag navigator, cruzerlite tpu, mercury tpu, fosman kickstand hb tpu, and cimo tpu. I just ordered the Spigen wallet posted in the threads. I want to test these Duzign cases in it to see how they fit. I will be posting detailed reviews of all my cases soon, but thought I'd share my findings for anyone wanting beautiful thin cases that really are on par/better than the big names.

Thanks for the heads up because I looked at other Duzign cases and spotted this beauty!
I haven't seen any reviews, but wonder if anyone has one?

awesome! i was beginning to think that my thread wasn't helpful, lol. glad you guys found something you liked. that case looks really nice/rugged. looking forward to hearing what you think about it .
ps: i'm not in any way associated with Duzign. after buying two of their slim cases, i was quite satisfied with the quality/price.

Got this in. Very nice and well made. My only issue with almost all the cases I have bought is it makes the phone unusable with one hand. I keep going back to not using a case at all.
But if you want good protection and a well built case this is it.

Just got my case. Very nice case for 9.00. It adds little more bulk cause I am used to tpu cases. All the holes match up perfectly. I will post pics later.

Then, you don't really need the outer plastic frame with kickstand to hold it together and can use inner TPU shell by itself? The reason why I"m asking, among other case I have a similar designed case but with soft silicon inner shell (first one in my post HERE) and it was a true garbage because soft silicon was pulling and I had to use outer plastic frame to hold it together from slipping of the phone. This Duzign case kinds of looks similar but sounds like a much better design!

I second that. I ordered at the same time that you did and just got mine here in CO. Black/black
It's so cold outside that when I got the case into the house I thought it needed to warm up because the inner TPU was hard. Little did I know, I've been dealing with soft style TPUs as mentioned.. This is truly a very nice case for $9.
Also, the exoskeleton shell fits on my cruzerlite circuit case! Win, win.
The Spen cutout, speaker, mics and usb ports are all perfect. Very happy customer (even though it took too long [by my standards] to arrive)
I saw it on ebay $6 shipped, local US seller. Very tempting. How is button response, too hard or soft? How about color of white inner case, how close is it to white of the phone?

Don't trust pics because of overexposed flash My cheapo ebay case with silicone inner shell had perfect color match. UAG Navigator (white) is a different shade of white, although not a problem because of black bumper thus white part of case doesn't come in contact with a phone.

Lab.C Smart Wallet Questions

Has anyone purchased this case?

I'm interested to know if the magnets in the case cause any issues? Anyone know if they are sold anywhere else?

Guess nobody has this case for the Note II. I think the OP was concerned about the magnets interfering with the S pen which obviously the iPhone review wouldn't cover at all.
How does it stay in the case? I don't see any bumpers or sticky tape.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using xda app-developers app
It has magnets and if it doesn't interfere with your s-pen it will mess up the magnetic strips on any cards you're foolish enough to store in it. Stay away. If you want a case like this get either a Spigen Snap or Spigen Valentinus.

T-Mobile.com Cases

Hi,
Has anyone gotten the D30 case from T-Mobile? Is so how is it?
How about the BodyGlove Fusion? I am looking for something with a nice sized lip around the bezel to protect the screen in case of a drop.
Thanks
Somebody posted that fusion case in the cases thread. I almost ordered the d3o case but it's not fully clear and doesn't look good imo.

Absolute thinnest case?

Anyone know a case that's little more than a thin plastic shell? Any TPU car would be too thick. I got a Quicksand case, but it's a mm thick (digital calipers read 1.06 mm). That's still too thick. Something less than 0.5 mm and hours up to the glad would be great.
I don't need any protection, I just hate the glossy plastic. I've got a Slickwrap, but it doesn't cover the edges and looks crappy. I would consider a skin or wrap that goes as far up the sides as the gray plastic line bisecting each edge.
I don't want to paint or sand down the plastic because I'm probably going to sell this phone if there's a Nexus phone this year.

It's exactly what you want. The grip is fantastic. The material has some weird matte/fabric finish and is the best grip case I ever had. On all phones. It adds zero bulk, trust me.
My 5 times more expensive and durably, but bulky as hell, Spigen Slim Armor is collecting dust in the drawer.

I don't understand. Do you realize I'm looking for thin cases? Almost all TPU cases are going to be too thick because TPU would be too susceptible to tearing if molded so thin.
Now find me the TPU case that is susceptible to tearing due to thinness and I'll probably buy it. Like I said, protection means nothing. I just hate coming into contact with the glossy plastic.
Have this and love it. Barely adds anything to the phone.

Was just trying to help, this case is very thin imo. I haven't had any issues with tearing and the glosssy back is the same reason I bought it. Why not get a skin if all you want is to cover the back.

So we just need one specific for the VZW version.
I have a similar material one for my moto x and it's the best lightest protection ever! Very light weight and protects against scratches and mild bumps.

For Verizon, just use the Incipio Feather case. That is what I have, looks just like all these posted, and is designed for the Verizon model specifically (you can even buy them in any Verizon store).
I've had my incipio feather case on since day 1. Still looks great. My phone has had a few nasty spills and never had any damage... even the case looks new. It has a soft "rubber" like coating on it, but the case itself it hard and snaps on. Never had a problem with it coming off (it is actually quite hard to come off. It also has a TINY TINY lip that when facedown, will keep the screen off the surface.

That's what I have, and it's slippery. It's nothing like the blue/green textured ones that we were discussing, which aren't (today) avail for the VZW version.
edit: will also add that the incipio has sharp edges at the corners. The other one is not sharp like the incipio.
Try Body Glove skin, not a case but textured, comes in metallic, wood, carbon fiber, etc finishes. Its should be useful gor what you want/need and it covers the edges.

Case with Kickstand?

As that title states, are there any good ones out there currently? I enjoy this type of stand so I can easily tilt the phone on a flat surface to watch videos and whatnot.
I bought some Seidio stuff back when I bought my first EVO and otterbox had not yet developed an otterbox case for it. I've found all of their stuff to be A1 quality.

I've been using seidio cases ever since the treo pro and loved them but with the Note 5 the magnet that holds the kickstand in place seems to interfere when using the Spen. I thought it was just me until I saw someone else post about it.

I picked this one up at a Sprint store, it doesn't have any magnets or anything keeping the kickstand in place it just snaps down. And it's the same price in the store. Case-Mate Tough Case with Stand Galaxy Note5 Black/Titanium https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0147M1XAM/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_kmj5vbW7PQVNC

I got the Spigen Slim Armor but haven't tried it on since I don't yet have my phone. The kickstand is a little flimsy but should be a little more stable once the phone is actually in the case. It's reasonably priced as well.

How much thickness does this add to the phone? I'm searching for a thin case with a kickstand. I just ordered one off Amazon but it has the magnet in the case so I'm probably going to return it because of the magnet causing issues with the phone.

I prefer cases with a kickstand that can be used vertically and horizontally. It makes it easy to watch video as well as making the phone easier to handle with one hand.
