Definitely not.
I have the Korean Note SHV-E160L and am also having problems.
I'm not sure what custom ROM we can use.
As for rooting the device, there is now a solution that a few people on here have tried out successfully: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1421885&page=2

Try Galaxy Ace Unlock from PlayStore as long as you're rooted and busybox is installed.

I9305 vs. Galaxy POP

Correct me if I'm wrong: Samsung I9305 Galaxy S III also known as Samsung GALAXY S III LTE is similar to galaxy POP with only two differences:
1. the internal memory of POP is only 8GB compared to 16GB of I9305.
2. The screen size of POP is a little smaller.
Being that said, can I use the root methods of I9305 to root POP?
