Nexus 6 Canada - Nexus 6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

If Google ever sells them in Canada think I may buy one.
Google say 64Gig Black is out of stock (they all are)
Question
I know they cost $799 plus tax, S/H if Google sell me one; does Future Shop or Rogers Plus sell them now?
I would hate buying from my Carrier.

Looking for a Nexus One in South Florida

Basically i want a nexus one, not interested in paying 500+ from someone on ebay/craigslist/scammer
if you are in the south florida area, ( I live in lauderhill), and have a nexus one for sale at a reasonable price( new or used) let me know, pm me for personal contact info or email me at [email protected] thanks in advance
att or tmobile?
AT&T nor TMO sells them in the store. I live in South Florida as well, and found a new one in the Doral area in some mom and pop phone shop on Friday. If you're looking not to pay 500+ your best bet is ebay, Clist, and whatnot. Like you I don't trust those sites, and dished out $600 for mine, but I sold my MyTouch Slide for $400, so I guess I really paid $200 for mine.
If you need the number to the place where I bought mine, just PM me. Just know that you will be paying $600 for it.
Since Google still sells them on their website, why not buy it through them? You know where it is from and still have a warranty that way.

O2 UK Pricing

If anyone is still considering the Nexus 4 on contract while O2 have their month of exclusivity, don't.
Went in to sort a micro-sim and even their salesman said their prices are going to be ridiculous!
Disappointed with pricing outside google play

[Q] Contract pricing across all carriers

The way I understood it (which admittedly must be wrong), Google sets the contract pricing across the board. So far I've seen contract prices all over the place. I'm waiting in particular on Verizon, but I'm curious if anyone who's pre-ordered or actually purchased a phone on contract can comment with their 2-year contract price. I was expecting to pay the usual $200 contract price but now that doesn't seem likely. Here's what I've seen at the time of this post:
Sprint - 32 GB Midnight Blue = $299.99 on 2-yr contract
AT&T - ?? GB = $249.99 on 2-yr contract
T-Mobile - Coming soon
Verizon - No info
So the only two that show contract pricing so far are nowhere near the $200 everyone seems to think. With competing phones like the Note Edge being $429.99 on a Sprint contract and $399.99 on an AT&T contract, something makes me think the Nexus 6 will be pricey on Verizon too. Is there not some kind of control Google exerts over the pricing?
Att had the 32gb model
Carriers set whatever price they want ....not google ...the carriers buy the phones from Google and subsidize them to customers ....it's up to carriers that is why nexus is 50 bucks more from Sprint full retail because they have to make money on it

[Q] Where to buy the Nexus 6 in London?

Hi.
I'm planing on visiting London in the new year, and I want to buy there the Nexus 6. Buying it in IL will cost much more... So where could I find it? How much it'll cost? As a tourist, will I be able to get the taxes back? And does the phones sold in the UK are unlocked, off contract and international?
Thanks. (and sorry for my bad English, it's not my native...)
Carphone warehouse would most likely have it in stock by then in white black 32/64GB These are internationally unlocked . However that being said you need to check what bands your network uses but the N6 is a band powerhouse .
It costs £500 and £550 respectively depending on the GB variant, see below for different currency conversions:
INS: 3103.15 3413.46
Dollars: $779 $856.90
Euros: €634.06 €697.46
Regarding getting tax back after a quick Google it looks like you can claim back the 20% as you live outsite the EU. Please see http://www.heathrowairport.com/stat...ual_PDF/VAT_Refunds/vat-refund-leaflet_EN.pdf

Where to buy S2 8.0 in Japan?

I really want to buy this device, preferably the Wifi T713 version.
I'm currently in Bangkok but they only sell the LTE version here and it's still comparatively quite expensive (~$420 USD before tax). Not sure why? In Singapore for example it's $290 USD (Wifi) and $340 USD (LTE) before tax.
I'll be heading to Japan soon so was thinking maybe I could purchase it there but having done some research it seems Samsung devices aren't really sold there in the stores except some newer devices rebranded by the telcos.
Does anybody have experience buying Samsung products in Japan (Osaka specifically)? Other option is to import from Amazon or Expansys but then I would have to pay tax and run the risk of getting a defective unit.
Thanks
