Hey,
can anyone help me with AT&T 8925 Tri-colour screen problem?
msn please @ [email protected] because I have no idea how to read the reply to this post, I'm new to all this..
It froze one day, soft reset and it came back in tri-screen. I plugged it into the charger and it worked..
Did that a few times now it won't do anything and it is stuck in tri-colour with:
KAIS1*0
SPL-1.93.000
CPLD-8
i didn't instal anything, it just locked up and not nothing I do, soft or hard reset will make it come back.
I also wanted to install an Australian OS to Telstra maybe, but not sure which ROM or RUU to download.
Can anyone help please, this is extremly important... and donations will be paid on completion of problem.
Thanks

Please Help Quickly!!

Ok so tonight i decided to update my phone with a few new apps, games, panels etc. Last thing i remember installing is the r3a camera. I go to run the camera and as i put auto flash on screen goes dead, completely blank. Leave it for ten minutes and still nothink, hold down power button and it made the noise it does when the power off notification comes up.
So naturally i removed the battery put it back in and turned it back on, but still nothing comes on screen.
Tried hard reset through pressing both buttons and power AND through pressing the stylus button located near battery. But nothing works!!
Please help quick!!

If I were you, I'd use the RUU to reset everything back to stock. If it still doesn't work, then you've at least narrowed your issues down somewhat. I wrote a guide to RUU that might help, although you may have to adjust it to your particular situation: http://forum.xda-developers.com/spr...de-reset-phone-using-ruu-htcfastboot-t2876110

Strange screen after reboot

My P9 got a strange screen recently after a restart, only half of screen showing the UI (please refer to the attached photo). However, I am unable to unlock the phone (nothing happen when touching the screen). The most strange is, the phone can receive Email and phone calls but unable to make a call due to stuck in the same half screen. How to solve this problem?
I know there is nothing wrong with the hardware, just problem from the software side.
Try to force reboot by holding power button until it reboots
If persist, try going to default recovery and clear caches
Looks like the sensor.is. faulty
The screen looks like using the huawei flip cover
If you can access the settings then try to disable the flip cover settings,i just forgot where it is

I will try to use a magnet to see if there is sensor problem, thanks anyway
Like FiKsTyLeR said try rebooting the phone by holding the power button for 10 seconds. Whent this doesn't work boot into recovery and wipe cache.

Tried but the flip cover mode still exist.
I searched from internet that maybe the hall sensor is not working, possible to fix it?
What I want to do is copy all the files inside P9 to my computer.
If its a software problem and not hardware (like screen protector, broken sensor) you could try to simply roll back to marshmallow and update again to nougat.
Does the problem exist in fastboot mode, recovery, etc ?

i think u need to do a factory reset
sound like a firmware problem
what firmware are u on
Mine does some blinks when i'm getting in or out of the always on screen display mode, but not everytime. got it in more than 1 rom.
I don't have such issues on my SE.
[/COLOR]Dang it. I'm experiencing the same issue for the past few days with my Global ver. Mi8.

This
Installed "dark mod" miui theme today and this resulted in a white strobe light screen after the first unlock attempt... No way to stop it's or access anything.
Slight panic since I'd seen threads about this issue and assumed it's hardware problem
Only way to stop it was a forced power off by long press of the power button.
Luckily on next boot the screen was working and I was able to Uninstall the theme again
Just when I was about to go to the service centre today, my phone becomes normal. Not sure why though.
How about you guys phone?
