Any news regarding an updated Galaxy Tab S? - Galaxy Tab S General

As topic. I've heard rumors about an updated slate released in Korea, but no news if it'd be released in the rest of the world. Is this correct?
Is it worth buying a 8,4 LTE model today, or should one wait for the Korean model to (hopefully) be released in my country (Sweden) in the near future?

$949 its very expensive than note 3. I remember i bought note 3 for $740
Sent from my SM-N9005
No, it's cheaper than the RRP of the Note 3 which was $999AUD. That means stores could potentially sell it even less at launch than what we paid for the Note 3 if you look around and find the best deal. And no offence but I doubt you got the Note 3 on launch for $740 without a trade-in or staff discount at a store, maybe a month later when the price dropped perhaps.
guys you were right, Australian site is selling it for $969.99 and has in stock while samsung is planning to release in Australia on 17th October.

Not anymore, the latest big little set up from Samsung now supports lte cat-4 and yes it will support all AUS lte frequencies.
EDIT: So what will everybody choose, Snapdragon is the default Aussie device and supports the upcoming cat6 4G?
On the other hand it is speculated that the Octa version may be able to utilize 64bit processing which may be usefull for Android L.
4G. (LTE Cat.4 150/50Mbps) Octa or 4G (LTE Cat.6 300/50Mbps) Quad Core.
My contact says Intellichoice will stock for RRP of $999.00
but also said will go on sale on the 22nd...

thanks for providing such useful information, i am shocked if 64 bit is coming in note 4 then it would be increasing speed than snapdragon one and its going to be a big deal
note: Price drop on provided link now its $929 lol if price drop remains in the current ratio i bet, note 4 would be around $650 in near future lol just kidding
Samsung have pulled a UK on us.
Note 4 Delayed.

Telco plans are finally up! (Have updated second post in this thread)
Grey import is around $900 to $930 from kogan, shoppingsquare. There is not any major price difference between official and grey import

which version you got? I have heard exynos is 64bit chip, is it true?
Sent from my SM-N9005
No its the 910G as are all australian releases
Got mine on release (via Optus - too poor to pay for one outright).
No complaints with it. Just hanging out for Lollipop though (or CM12, whichever comes first).
Ive got exynos model not 64bit enabled yet but can/will be soon hopefully

I am using SM N920I frim Singapore. I am currently in Pakistan and reading sbout updates being pushed to N5 but I havnt recvd any update.
Is this a model issue or is my set region locked thats why?
I spent a lot of money but i hope it was not a bad decision to get thus version.

You can always go to sammobile site to check for latest firmware. As far as I know you can flash different region as long as it is for your model such as n920i. Also u have to understand just because your phone doesn't have any update yet that would mean it is bad. I think it depend on the carrier to release them. As rule of the thumb u don't fix something unless there is an issue.
I believe android 6 update is just around the corner so I think that is why some carriers maybe waiting to release all at once. But I doubt it will come this month because of the holidays coming soon. I would expect them to be released early January.

Finally it's here!

6GB RAM/64GB storage version on sale on Monday 18th June. If you want 8GB of memory and 256GB of storage then the release date is Wednesday 4th July.
The price and Al build with Snapdragon 845 and 6.2 inch screen and stereo speakers is a major major major go for me. MicroSD slot is the icing in the cake. I can just fit a glass screen protector on this baby and it should be good to go. Also Asus will be doing a 50 pounds/euro promotional rebate for all pre-orders and all sales on their website up til 15th July.

Anyone heard when it may be available in the US? It can be bought on ebay now from sellers in Taiwan and China but I'd rather wait until it's released in the US so hopefully it'll be the variant with more US LTE bands (assuming it's actually getting officially released in the US).

I'd love to see them shipping on 4th July in the US.
Based on one or two sites, it'll be released mid to late August in the US, which is utter crap.

I've been saying August in the other thread! Their poor strategy tells me they've given up on competing. By the time it releases in the US a lot of people would've forgotten about it...

In two months? The only people who (IMO) are really looking forward to the phone are people like us (Android "enthusiast") and I doubt we will forget in that amount of time. I'm just hoping Best Buy carries it like the 5Q. I prefer their warranty on phones and I get double-points on my BBY credit card

I am on a vacation in India. I bought it for just €330 (6GB/64GB) with a free case (yay!) . Best deal ever!!

When is the release date for the S10?

Having a hard time finding the actual date? Saw they were on display at best buy but didn't ask for availability
