Custom rom lollipop - HTC Desire 500

Any chance to see Lollipop release on this device?..or any other custom rom anyway?

No official release for sure, and most likely no custom ROM past 4.2 with acceptable GPU performance.

but another plan is to further investigate Sense 5 android 4.3 kernel, which is stucking on boot still. It would be great to break through that problem, so we can provide custom kernels for 4.3 Sense 5... hope i can find some time for this soon, as it will take months till htc will release kernel sources after they roll out the 4.3 update for sense too.

[Q] Kernel for stock lollipop rom

Hi,
Is there any specific reason that no custom kernels have been developed for stock lollipop rom similar to furnace and pinkman for kitkat? The cm12 builds are not 100% stable yet and stock lollipop rom with xposed can give similar customizations while being more stable.

Not possible to fix stability unless Sony releases their binaries for the Z1. If you want stable MM or N, move to a different device.

Which is the current best stock-based rom for an update

Hi,
I've been on 6.0.1 with kernel 3.10.84-OM5Z (rooted) for about a year now, but would like to update to the current best rom for fully functioning camera (with DRM patch), battery life and heat.
Have been watching and waiting regarding Nougat. What's the opinion? Which is the best stock-based rom/patched kernel combo to go for at the moment?
BR.
