I think moto g 2nd Gen is lacking development as compared to first generation moto g and the reason behind this is that no kernel sources are available for this device. What you guys think? Don't you think company should release kernel sources now?

Moto G's kernel sources came out after 2 months if I'm not mistaken, so we just have to wait

I've flashed customs roms on my stock without backing up the original ROM came with the phone , and now with Lollipop being almost released i wanted to know which version of MOTO G 2014 XT1068 do i have.
So is there anyway to know this?!
I've collected all of the official Moto G boot animations from Motorola and Lenovo (and their matching logos) and put them in flashable zip files. They should be compatible with all Moto G models.

So far I've tested with XT1034 (Moto G 2013 US AWS) and XT1540 (Moto G 2015 US). If it works for you as well, please post your model # (Settings → About phone → Hardware SKU) and which ROM you're using and I'll add it to my list.
