I was on CleanROM 1.5 for AT&T, but decided to switch to ARHD for continued updates. Flashed the ROM and the problem began. I've since tried to go back to cleanrob via pushing the rom with adb, no go. I've wiped the phone countless times. I've erased the fastboot cache. I've switched TWRP/CWM neither changed anything. Fixed permission, flashed the boot images associated with each rom. Let it hang on the HTC screen for 30 minutes. I've exhausted the extent of google. Can anyone help?
Hi

4. Use abd sideload to install new downloaded(download again even if you have) ARHD rom(check md5 sum of the newly Downloaded Rom before instaltion)
5. Reboot into bootloader

All steps complete, stuck on HTC logo screen. =( I didn't get any errors during any of the steps it went smoothly. Just doesn't work..... am I the only person with an unruly HTC One?
Hi
Greetings,
Hi the HTC logo means
1.White screen with green HTC logo and quietly brilliant.
2. Or the screen when beats audio comes and ONE is written that screen
If its 2nd screen that means it is Rom problem
If it doesnot pass the HTC logo I thing its kernel issue ( at least I have been using this in my sensation)
Have you flashed the kernel
Your option is to try stock Rom search it in development sector
Can u access the sdcard memory when you connect .possibility is rare as the phone has not booted

No error booting into recovery, I'm using the newest version of CWM (non touch). Sometimes in recovery the cache doesn't mount properly, restarting seems to fix this.
ok, we will start fresh just to make sure that everything is allright... re-install the CWM recovery by typing
Code:
fastboot erase recovery
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot erase cache
and then reboot into recovery

No it flashed fine. I'm sitting in recovery now.
ok, if it gives no error then proceed with the installation of the rom
first flash its boot.img and then flash the rom in recovery...do not install any mod or anything that could compromise the correct installation

Rebooted into bootloader. Flashed boot.img, rebooted
Now sitting on the "HTC Quietly brilliant" screen. Not moving.
While on that screen it still shows up under ADB devices. Should I try relocking/unlocking the bootloader?

Hi all,
Recently I accidentally wiped every partition on my htc one device, including the system partition, thus deleting my OS. My One has lost its ability to be recognised by any computer i plug it into, however it still charges fine. I have tried plugging in my USB-OTG cable with a Sense Rom, hoping to install it.(I dont actually know if that is what I should do with no OS) No Rom I try to install has worked. Any help is appreciated
Thanks in advance
PS I am on TWRP Recovery v2.6.3.0
Thanks again.

try to flash your rom.zip from recovery with OTG cable
or push it to your SD card and install from recovery :
adb push rom.zip /sdcard/
or you can sideload your rom.zip :
boot to recovery mode > advanced > ADB sideload > swipe
adb sideload rom.zip
wait for complete > reboot to recovery mode > install your rom.zip
if not, flash it from RUU mode :
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip rom.zip
fastboot flash zip rom.zip
fastboot reboot
if not, be sure your rom.zip meet your phone CID & MID
be sure your phone is LOCKED
try to flash rom.zip with HBoot version higher than your 1.44 ( e.x 1.54)
Also to add. Your TWRP is out of date. Install 2.6.3.3 or newer

I would recommend 2.6.3.3 (or .4)... seems 2.7.0.0+ is still having issues.
Assuming the phone is an m7_u or m7_ul model!!! if it's not, then i would reconsider.
we all know what they say about assumption right

OTG -> okay
adb push -> okay
adb sideload -> okay
you cannot flash a custom ROM using ruu mode!!

Hello everyone, im new to these forums (and new to android) so nice to meet you all!

im getting a fail on the last step when it checks signatures.

after some surfing on the forums i found out that i need S-OFF... and mine is S-ON but i cant seem to get if off,
the phone bootloader shows this:

**relocked**
m7_UL PVT SHIP S-ON RH
HBOOT-1.55.0000

you dont need s-off, however, if you want s-off it would be advised whilst your on a low HBOOT before you update, but thats a different story.
your re-locked, so do you know if it has a custom recovery on it, or a custom rom, or is it 100% stock, to be sure, unlock your bootloader, because if it is running anything custom, it wont boot with a re-locked bootloader, unlock here:
http://www.htcdev.com/bootloader
just follow the instructions and report back when done, it will give you some adb and fastboot files, keep those, you'll need them and will also teach you how to use them if you dont know. :good:

what you need to do is flash TWRP 2.8.5.0 from here: http://techerrata.com/file/twrp2/m7/openrecovery-twrp-2.8.5.0-m7.img
Code:
fastboot flash recovery (name of recovery).img
fastboot erase cache
fastboot reboot-bootloader
enter recovery and create a simple backup, just something like the boot, then plug your phone into the computer, whilst its still in recovery mode, that recovery supports MTP so your internal storage should open up on your computer, if it doesnt, you have a driver problem, but if it does, then navigate to TWRP/Backup/Phone serial number/todays date and some other details, delete the backup files out of there and place the files inside this zip in there instead, files only not folders: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23622183712459333
unplug your phone and restore that backup.
once restored, restart your phone and just do a basic setup.
then put this on your internal storage and again boot into recovery mode and flash it: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23622183712459512
once finished, do a full restart of the phone, your now nearly full stock, one last step, your need to flash the firmware which is here: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95747613655045066 once downloaded just name it to firmware for ease and put it in the same folder as adb and fastboot on your computer, reboot your phone to the bootloader and lock the bootloader (required to flash firmware as you are s-on), issue these commands.
Code:
fastboot oem lock
fastboot reboot-bootloader[I] (should now say relocked at the top)[/I]
fastboot oem rebootRUU[I] (screen turn black with silver HTC logo)[/I]
fastboot flash zip firmware.zip [I](failed is normal the first time, it will say please flush again) soooooo[/I]
fastboot flash zip firmware.zip
[I]as long as it says successful at the end this time your good to go, if not, report back here before the next command, if all is ok then:[/I]
fastboot reboot-bootloader
fastboot reboot
when you restart your phone will be full stock and you should now be able to update, recommended as your firmware is quite old, however, I would recommend before updating that you try and get s-off, for this you will need to use rumrunner s-off tool, you can find it here plus the instructions: http://rumrunner.us/ (you might want to try this after: "once restored, restart your phone and just do a basic setup." before flashing the firmware and preload data part)

to clear those errors, in TWRP recovery select wipe - format data, this will wipe the entire phone, then reboot back into recovery.
The internal storage popping up on your computer only works when you are booted into recovery (main recovery screen only) and only with TWRP recovery 2.8.5.0 or 2.8.4.0.

Hi everyone
I stuck with root procedure (first link when you type "htc mini 2 root" in google)
I did unlock bootloader with htcdev, I am able to run adb and fastboot - meaning I can restart my phone into fastboot loader but I cannot run TWRP recovery, I dont know why. I downloaded few versions of this .img file, I run command fastboot boot recovery xxxx.img, with some files there is no reaction at all, with file recovery-twrp-2.8.5.0 phone is restarting but into normal function, there is no twrp screen. I have CWM-SuperSU-v1.30 on sd card in the phone
Does anyone have clue what can be wrong here?
Thank you
