Will definitely try this out - Omni 4.4.4 was perfect - I expect nothing less here (over time of course). Thanks Andi.

Likewise with a P5113 here, booted first time after clean flash with pico Gapps and supersu 2.40... but after first reboot and 2 force reboots... still hanging on boot screen with a blank faced android blinking and wondering. Black to SlimLP for now. Thanks again Andi.

Lolli!
I installed the latest build and its working great in my P5110
I didn't even had any major bug yet (Only clock app not working)

Reporting: Did an update from last years version.
Wiped C + DC
Flashed Rom + SuperSU
Rebooting .... took approx. 7 minutes ... done
Settings done,
Reboot,
Stuck at boot logo ... left for about 15 minutes
Wiped C + DC again,
Rebooted successfully this time.
Used for an hour or two, than reboot again, stucked at boot logo again...
After wiped C + DC again without no apparent reason: Booting successfully.
Restoring SlimLP with TWRP. Will test next build Andy when available.

@Gregzi thx for testing. I'll run new builds tonight...

Testing Build 20150107
Testing latest build:
- Clean flash Rom + Gapps + Supersu 2.40
- Boot time reduced to 3 minutes
- Setting everything
- Noticed that SuperSU is this time correctly pushed into the system (in previous builds I had two:
one in Launcher and one in Settings ==> sometimes problems with root - TBackup)
- Shutting down the tablet
- Booting - again stuck at Omni boot animation (left it for about 10 minutes)
- Force reboot to TWRP (with two button combo)
- Reboot into the system from TWRP without cleaning anything
- Booting normally in 1 minute
When OC the frame rate is now 32,8 fps (Nenamark2), so better than previous builds, so certain progress is done.
The tablet feels smoother - especially noticeable when opening app drawer.

thanks, but actually i had flashed Gapps (pico) already just after the ROM.
however, i'll try again later. :fingers-crossed:
in the meantime, i re-flashed gapps, with no change in behaviour.
for the time being, i'm back to 4.4.4.

only a question
I have a p5110 and runs pretty well but I've a problem with the minimum brightness it's very dark I can't see anything. any solution?

I loaded the 1/29 build last night on a clean install (with the latest Nano PA Gapps and SuperSU install zip, all on Andi's latest TWRP build). So far so good, here's a few observations:
-The first boot took a pretty long time but from what I've read this is normal. I didn't reboot again until the next day but for the second boot, the bootanimation never loaded, it just went straight from the brand logo to the launcher, long black wait in between. After that, all fine. Later I loaded the stock lollipop bootanimation I had been using previously (I do like the omni one a lot, though), and it used to lag a bit at the end on 4.4.4 but now it runs smooth all the way through, so that's encouraging.
-Turning the screen off (or letting it time out) is usually buggy, the screen flickers on/off for a second instead of any type of animation (I believe Lollipop is supposed to do a monochrome fadeout?) Edit: On closer inspection I see it is doing the monochrome fade, but then the screen flashes at the end of the animation.
-Re-installing apps was painfully slow and seemed to hang if I let the screen turn off (I'd find it sitting on the same install several minutes later). Downloading seemed a lot slower than KitKat ever was, too. I looked at the stats in settings->apps->running at on point in the process and the Play Store was listed as Restarting, perhaps this indicates poor memory management? Running the app in the foreground didn't seem to help at all, though.
-The material updates to the stock browser app are pretty swanky, I'm a fan. (I saw that in the gerrit and got excited. Not done yet but looks great.)
-Cast screen doesn't seem functional, doesn't find my chromecast. I've tested both Netflix and Localcast to connect just fine, LocalCast was a bit finicky the first time I tried but I think that may have been a network issue.
-I was testing a video call in in Hangouts and tried to mute the sound (was testing with my phone in hand and there was audio feedback loops because of that), but couldn't. Using the volume buttons, it wouldn't go all the way down, and if I dragged the bar the rest of the way it just wouldn't stick. Not sure exactly which volume control that was (lollipop's sound settings still confuse me in general), but I think it must be a bug of some sort that it wouldn't go down to mute.
-I had only just got around to trying to use my tablet's IR blaster (P5113) for TV control a few days earlier, and I found that the top several smart remote apps in the store don't work at all. Peel actually forces a soft reboot when it gets to the "push this button to test turning the device on" step, consistently. I did get one app working, which only includes remote IR support as a secondary function, TV Guide by Mini Group. Unfortunately the app isn't quite polished enough to be useful to me, but it was notable that it just worked where the others all get nothing. I didn't re-test all of the apps on lollipop but the ones I did(both of the ones linked here and a couple of the others that didn't work) behaved the same way.
-Visual performance generally seems a bit laggy but overall performance is fine (i.e. animations may freeze or lag but the tasks they're covering up don't suffer). Maybe all the animations in lolipop are just a bit rough on older hardware? I find them a bit overdone now that I've played around with things a bit more, personally (not that this reflects on the ROM). I don't really like stuff like shadows bouncing around as I scroll menus, though some of them are a nice subtle touch.
Overall I was happy with KitKat, but I think I'll let lollipop grow on me, these quirks are all minor. Idle battery life seems a bit worse but it's hard to make that call, I've been fiddling with the tablet more than usual to test things anyway.
Edit: Actually after letting it sit overnight unplugged, the idle battery is better than I was ever getting on KitKat. Granted, I made a point of closing all apps before and I think on KitKat I was having issue with casting apps holding wakelocks overnight and that's yet to be tested, but 1% over 12 hours is a pretty damn good baseline. Not sure what caused that wifi drop towards the end, after holding the connection (it gets a good strong signal) for about 11 hours, though.

Hey together!
Seems like we have some faulty eMMC chips, some reports of broken devices appeared.
I pushed a commit to address the issue and prevent other devices from damage.
I will recompile latest Lollipop roms and recoveries within 1 week.
For more information please read http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3016879
Follow the instructions please to check your eMMC information.
Best regards and wishes!

[Q] Tried Everything - Touchpad Screen Unresponsive (CM9)

Hi
Looked for this issue on the forum and can find instances of it happening occasioinally, but not with the frequency that i have. Symptomns are that the screen will stop responding to input. I.e the screen stays painted but does not respond to my pokes or pros. Flicking the screen on and off for a split second fixes it. I believe its related to software or resource usage -sometimes i can go for ages without issues, however in the last half an hour this has happened around ten times. please help!
I have tried isolating it down to a particular app with no success, and also changed the CPU governance settings, asgin unsuccessfully. I have no such issues in WebOS.
Thanks.
ps running CM9 alpha 2, but had same issue on 0.6
flash the latest nightly.
screen unresponsive281]flash the latest nightly.[/QUOTE]
Thanks for the reply. I may consider doing that, guess that with a Android backup I don't have much to lose. Would like to avoid it if possible as not being as widespread they aren't as proven and I've ironed out all other issues in alpha 2 such as wifi etc ...
Thanks
the latest nightly offers quite a few fixes.....
including vibration from sleep and tons of other stuff. not much can go wrong.

There has been loads of improvements in CM9 wifi has been fixed sound distortion when the screen off is fixed many speed fixes we now have themes working
Do a nandroid backup in CWM then copy that to your pc for safety then wipe system partition DO NOT FACTORY RESET OR WIPE DATA or you will lose you data, then flash latest nightly and latest gapps then wipe dalvik cache/cache partition's then in advanced fix permission's and reboot system
Well.... I dip my hat to you guys.
Went ahead and installed the latest nightly - even if it doesn't fix my issue, I was suprised by how polished it felt compared with Alpha 2. Typically with bleeding edge stuff I'd have expected to have more issues, but alls I had to do was reinstall YouTUbe and flash the gapps-fixer zip for my Calender sync, plus I see lots of lovely new settings to play with.
Will report back if the screen hangs again, here's hoping...
Frustratingly this issue has started happening for me again running 31 May nightly - touch screen has become unresponsive half a dozen times in the last ten minutes.
Maybe trying wiping it and doing a brand new flash from the latest nightly. (I know it sucks to reinstall stuff, but maybe there are some leftover codes that is causing trouble.. )
i agree either to wiping data or up your min cpu speed as it might the amount of apps you have installed that auto start/resume when turn on the screen..

I only had that problem once. Rebooted by holding home and power never had it again.
Sent from my YP-GI1 using XDA
Had this issue yesterday for the first time since installing cm9 6(?) months ago.
Tried a nightly build as suggested, but given the rarity in the first place, can't be sure it's fixed
This happens to me all the time across all ROMs I have tested.
This happens in OaT's and turning the screen off/on, fixes it temporarily.
This happens in Butta, but turning the screen off/on does nothing. I have to reboot using power/home.
I have also been unable to find a specific app that causes it, but it does seem to occur more often in graphic intensive games.
I can go for days without it happening, then BAM, it stops responding to touch, from that point forward, no about of reboots or full shutdowns seems to fix it for several hours. I'll reboot and sometimes it'll be immediately, sometimes it will be 3-5 minutes, but it will happen again.
Then a few hours later it'll stop happening and I'm good for a few more days.
Do those of you using CM9 find that screen off/on fixes it, or do you need a full reboot?
I am running the night lies and have to say that the only time I experienced this was with the may nightlies. I have not experienced any issues with the 7/04 nightly.
Sent from my cm_tenderloin using Tapatalk 2
Interestingly enough I think I found out what causes the screen to stop responding. When the TouchPad is locked in landscape and then I turn it portrait while its still locked, then the screen becomes unresponsive. Does that make sense?
Sent from my Touchpad using xda app-developers app
I take it back. The screen became unresponsive even in landscape mode. There goes my well formed and thoroughly investigated theory.

I've been using Nova Launcher ... I switched back to Trebuchet and it appears to be working normally. Of course I may be spouting this half-cocked like I did before. What launcher are you using?
I run SPB 3D launcher and do not experience any response issues with the latest nightlies. I use my touchpad constantly as a laptop replacement so mine gets a workout every day. To my knowledge, no one was ever able to find any one app that was responsable for this behaviour but it was noted in earlier builds.

I too still have this issue - as per others, fine for days, then it will occur consistently and I keep having to screen off/on and eventually it stops of its own accord. Am sure its a software issue, but someone here says they also had it in WebOS and HP provided a replacement.
http://rootzwiki.com/topic/20740-screen-unresponsive-in-cm9/
For me as simply flapping the screen on/off fixes it and I've never had the issue within WebOS, it has to be software - this started as soon as I first installled CM9.
Bump - still no fix identified for this by anyone with this issue please?
To anyone still following on, followed nevertells advise and completely started again from scratch and it happened after about twenty mins of using the stock browser. I think i've tried not using that app before so am just going to assume that this is either a software bug or a hardware issue that only manifests itaelf within Android

Invisiblek's 4.4 12-30-13 Nightly Impression

I can't post this on the Milaq thread (where most of the invisiblek discussion is) so I thought I would post it here to give anyone else a heads up.
The Good:
It's a fairly stable kernel and all my apps run seemingly just fine. I mean I've only been running it about 5 hours but not a single FC. I did have a weird bootup glitch that locked it up right away after install but after that I loaded all the apps just fine. Super exciting to see it so far!
The Bad:
Screen pixelation/tearing from left to right, especailly on grey backgrounds. Something is up with the video driver/gpu voltage. Certain icons like the Settings sprocket will have a few pixels that will flash and other times you'll see lines all the way across the screen. It might be color specific. I was playing Quadropus Rampage and never noticed it but then went back to the home screen or typing an e-mail and it's very much there.
Pandora plays music fine. If you turn off the screen while playing, horrific things happen like ZZZZZZZZZZZZ and then hard lock. I didn't like that station anyway..
The "OK Google" voice command doesn't seem to work though voice typing does. I'm pretty sure this worked on the Milaq build of the same date.
It's a bit slow and CPU is stuck to 1188. There is a bit of a lag switching apps but I don't notice any core functions slow.
The Different:
The home button doesn't wake up the TP. Only the power button.
Can't say anything about battery life quite yet but I'll keep a gander on it. Battery hasn't been a super concern of mine because I plug it in ever night
The Different:
The typical 15 second reset switch mult-button key is more like 3 seconds now. I like this a lot better.
Positive:
--backup and restore work
--it is getting much better.
Negatives:
--Microphone does not work, so I could not use any vioce search or voice dialer/sound recorder.
--Free game "F.S. Xtreme" has black box issue.
--Youtube still has reboot issue.
--TV streams app "syncbak" has similar reboot issue.
My wifi keeps shutting off and won't restart without reboot. Not even sleeping. Other than that it runs nicely.
Switched to milaq's 3.0 kernel.
The CPU is pre-configured to run at much higher 1.5Ghz, yet the 3.0 rom is still able to run very stable.
I am waiting for camera fix to enable video calls.
Since both 3.0/3.4 rom are using the same CWM, it makes 3.0/3.4 rom switch very easy.
Waiting on Flintmans as it is the only non data media rom. Not a big fan of all the repartitioning. For several reasons. Good to see choices still available. God bless the developers for all their time and effort. Wish I could do what they do.

I flashed 3.4 rom (0103) over 3.0, and tried briefly.
--3.4 rom seems running OK, except it runs relatively slower at 1.1Ghz.

--Free game "F.S. Xtreme" seems not compatible with 3.x kernel. It also cannot run on Samsung S3.

Same here. Also double check that the setting took. I swear I unchecked it and it went back or didn't take the first time. Perhaps give it a toggle or two. I also noticed that if wifi turns off, it won't turn back on.
Anyone else having a problem with rebooting from within CM and it just goes to a blank screen?
Dirty flashed to the 1/5 nigthly. Reboot issues seems gone now, or just that a reflash has fixed mine specifically.

Negative on the posting. I'm still seeing the bzzzz when the screen shuts off while playing music. Have disabled the mic (I think). Curious that nobody on that thread has reported that quite yet.
I'm very excited to see all of this development on our old TPs! I'm currently running Milaq's latest 3.0 kernel test build. It is running almost perfectly for me! I cannot wait for 3.4 to finish getting smoothed out. I've tried Invisiblek's builds out, and they currently seem a little laggy compared to Milaq's 3.0 test build. Great work all around though! Thanks to Invisiblek, Flintman, Milaq, JCSullins, Dorregary, and all of the others that I haven't mentioned who have contributed so much of their time and skill toward keeping our Touchpads relevant, even competitive with the current crop of tablets on the market!

problems with latest Mackay ROMs

Hallo,
I am sorry, to post it here, but I cannot post in the related forums below 10 posts.
So I had 4.1.5 and it was great. I flashed 4.2.3 now and it was great until after pretty much one day, when it becomes slow, had the same issues with 4.2.2 (becomes slow after a day until reboot or downgrade to 4.1.5) where I downgraded again, but it is not possible anymore without resetting the launcher3 due to some changes.
It will crash repeatedly.
Any help?
Kind regards
neox
I've been using CM based Mackay ROM for a long time now, updating to every new version as they have been released, and have not experienced anything like what you are describing.
Also, you should have really posted in the Mackay ROM thread...
Sent from my GT-I9000 using Tapatalk
@neox456! I am not sure I understand your problem fully. I have been using the same ROM since it came out for Kit Kat but never had a problem such as yours.
Could it be the no. of apps you have in your phone ? Or maybe because you aren't using low mem option (which was a feature of Kit Kat)?
It'd be good if you could explain your issues a bit briefly.

Did you install CM10.2 (stable) or CM11 before Mackay 4.2.3? This increases your partition giving you better performance and is recommended for KK roms. Try again with 3 wipes plus Format System first, then the CM11, 3 wipes and format again then the Mackay Rom. If you get into trouble, go back to GB 2.3.6 with ODIN like you did when you first rooted your phone and back up from there. Hope it works for you.
The difference was between 4.1.5 and 4.2.2/3. But I played around a little and the main difference was, that KSM was on with the later ones and not with 4.1.5 so I am pretty sure that slowed my device down after a while.
I'll try 4.2.3 without KSM now and see if it won't slow down.
I cannot answer on the official Mackay-Thread until I reached 10 posts!
neither can I yet...
Naaah, it did not really help...
But I guess it is the KitKat slow downs... it is not as horrible as 4.3, but still far from well usable.

Very strange.. I went all the way back to GB 2.3.6 then CM 10.2 (or 11) then SlimKat and it works really well with no FC or lags. (well maybe say max 2 second delay opening Whatsapp but I can live with that. Plus they all seem to have a 1 or 2 second delay when a call comes in for the screen to register.
Well... I am not sure... Maybe it is too many apps. At least they are not constanlty crashing like in JB4.3.
What about waking up the phone for you? Do you have a 2 seconds delay there, too? Well I sometimes have a more like 10-15 seconds delay. I press the power button and nothing happens and after a while you notice the phone is ready, because the LEDs are glowing and funnily you can already unlock it, although the screen does not show anything yet...
Well and sometimes it is only a few seconds...
I have always used CM or Mackay-CM... not sure, whether the other ROM will make such a big difference...
I had lags with CM in ICS so I went to Liquid smooth by aways .
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2223729
I like that one, no problems opening apps or answering phone call. Pkus he uses semaphore and the Nova Launcher which has a nice look and feel. Pluis customisable.
Then after to SlimKat, (after increasing partition using the CM11) which works pretty good. I will flash the mackay rom or the omni this weekend to see how it behaves in comparison.
I am down to CM9 (still Mackay) now and happy with it.
Some features got lost, but I am happy, because in general it is way more useable.

Read the instructions at the beginning of this thread. It's all there.
It is a little different to rxtreme.
You will need to download the ROM and GApps. I'd download Milestone version - read earlier posts for location.
Go to recovery, flash the ROM then GApps.
Hope all goes well.

Review of the liquid smooth i9305 ROM 4.4.4
I've been using this ROM for the last four months and my verdict is...
...it's ****. S. H. I. T.
So bad that I've gone back to the stock ROM. Maybe it's because the i9305 is a relatively unknown phone (compared to the i9300). Nevertheless it's evident here that little effort has gone into research and testing of this ROM. Here are all the issues I came across during my usage of what is the most terrible android experience I've had.
Battery life: This ROM basically chews up the battery faster than a fat kid in a candy store. Seriously sit back and watch, throughout the day, as battery percentage slips lower and lower until it knocks itself out. And then that brings me to the next problem,
The phone will not charge when the battery is completely dead (phone off): That's right the phone has to be on, before this ROM realises that it should be charging the phone.
Camera: The camera will take about 4 shots, sometimes 10, if you're lucky before it completely fails. The only way around this is by performing a soft or hard reboot. Super fun when you're at a party and when taking a group image, the camera ****s itself. Even with third party camera apps the problem persists.
Microphone: I don't know how a ROM could possibly **** up the microphone, but this ROM succeeds in doing just that. Any recording performed sounds like a 1950s CB radio. This is an experience that you force on everyone you call by having the audacity to use this ****ty ROM.
Multiple Application Incompatibilities: Several big ticket applications fail to run with LiquidCrap. For example Skype refuses to initiate and Viber will not make video calls. That leaves Google Hangouts which for some reason decides to induce a 4 second lag in every word in your conversation.
Video playblack: Wow a custom ROM that refuses to easily work with flash video. The developers solution here is to force you to use dolphin viewer to browse and run some flash mods to work. Unfortunately none of that works. And it's not just flash that refuses to run. Any HTML5 gif or video will not play. Then there are some videos where only the sound will play but nothing else. Good luck watching anything on youtube which is not accessible by the youtube app. Which surprisingly works well.
Random restarts: Oh were you typing in something important? Would be a shame if I just...restarted right now.
Screen Rotation: Lags.
So if you're 13 years old and get a kick out of changing colors in status bars; by all means get this ROM. If you actually have responsibilities and need your phone....to work. Then avoid this ROM at all costs. Hell, avoid every custom ROM for the i9305. Unless it's a slightly modified stock Samsung. This as this there's less chance that something is royally ****ed as in the case here.

Hi Guys! Im fairly new, I only flashed about 10 roms. Using this rom for 5 days now, I have a lot of problems, bugs. But I want to give it another try, because I heard very good things about this rom. so...
garbled "mosaic like" graphics on locksreens notifications only when Im moving them with my fingers
garbled notification bar icons when running tinder
strange scrolling in play/own apps during app updating - app rectangles in the listing seems to detach from the scrolling background, moving slower/faster.
various gfx glitches too fast or short to recall
camera is unusable, ugly FCs, "cant connect"s, even reboots, or phone freezed up for several seconds. using power button release seems to make it worse.
it was clean install, full wipe (FR), + cache before and after flashing. (Philz Touch)
installed:
LS-KK-MileStone-3.2-i9305.zip
Liquid_gapps.4.4.4.build.8.1.zip
I came from stock KK, it was the NEE version (I9305XXUFNL1_I9305NEEFOA1_I9305XXUFOA1_HOME). and some others before that.
Can I make an "even cleaner" install...? Can it be some things left from other roms causing these problems?
Or any advice, so it would work like on your devices?
thx in advance
ps: sorry for the previous post

Have you had any luck on sorting your problems out? I've found this ROM to be amazing.
It's fast, smooth and everything works well.
I've played with lollipop ROMs but they have issues so keep coming back. Though when aicp 5.1 is sorted, it is a decent option; very fast and smooth.
Anyway I am using TWRP 2.8.5.0 recovery and stock kernel that came with the ROM. I do a full advanced wipe them factory wipe. I also use SuperSU.
If you're still having issues you could store your files in an external SD card, totally format your internal storage and start again from scratch.
Hope that helps.

Hi! thx for the answer, but I did everything, apart from I left below. What do you mean by total format? How its done, with what app, and how the carrier/region etc related content is put back after that? I have latest philz touch, and I do dalvik+cache+full wipe before AND after each flash. Im not concerned about my files, everything is on ExtSD and cloud.
Yes the rom is much cooler than CM for the first look, but after 5 days heavy use I got serious problems just like the angry guy mentioned a few post above. after I moved in all my apps and stuff, it lost its smoothness, FCs, and hard battery drain with hot phone.
But the main thing was after I wrote my post, I realized that this rom is not maintained anymore, which is a problem for the 9305. U gotta use what is maintained, so the last day was so bad with this rom, I went back to CM immediately! Which is a dream in simplicity, speed, and battery life, and the latest only few days old!
of course Im still interested in the total format you mentioned, and in this rom, if it gets sorted out...

There are different ways to fully format your internal drive but you will need to backup any important data files to your SD card first. A full format will wipe it clean. I don't use philz these days but from memory you mount system, data etc and format them. Other options are files like those provided by Agni developer for F2FS will wipe it clean as well. As I use twrp it is different again.
I've been on this ROM for months now. It's fast, smooth, no FCs, and with decent use through the day I get 2 full days out of the battery before a recharge.
I use Greenify app, turn off fast dormancy and if there are drainage issues it's generally about finding the rogue app. Titanium backup is another must have app to backup and restore apps. It makes things so easy.
It's not maintained as you say but I don't see that being relevant; it's a well cooked 4.4.4 ROM! You can use other options such as F2FS +/- ART to tweak performance.
The only ROM I'm playing with at present is the 5.1 aicp which is super fast. Only had bug with Apex launcher my launcher of choice.
Have fun! Cheers

NEWBIE: What is the most stable build right now?

Greetings all, I installed CyanogenMod version 11-20141112_SNAPSHOT-M12-ovation way back. It has always been unstable and frustrating so I just walked away from the project.
Now it is 2018 and I'd like to take another crack at it. Last time I followed a guide I found online but this time I'm trying to put a bit more forethought into it and want to start from the ground up.
So first things first, what is the most stable, responsive build for the Nook HD+? I don't think I need the latest and greatest, I just want my Vudu to not crash, be able to start the dang thing up, and not have my battery drain randomly.
Thanks in advance!
amaces Lineage OS 14.1 lnos_ovation-ota-NJH47F.171021.zip - You must install pico gapps to get through initial setup easily. Apart from that, this rom is very solid. secretwolf98 is also posting builds, but I have not tested them yet.
Unlegacy-Android Nougat ua_ovation-7.1.2-20180111-0528.zip - Has a wifi bug where you lose settings after reboot. The easiest way to work around this is to connect to two wifi networks, and then disable and re-enable wifi two times. You will autoconnect to the first network automatically from then on.
amaces Marshmallow aosp_ovation-ota-MOB30Z.160820.zip - This is the most stable and mature rom in my opinion. The one major bug is that for wifi to connect on boot, you have to pull down the notification bar completely and press the wifi button to show available networks.
Edit: Forgot to mention that all these recent unlegacy-android based roms are much more stable than roms of the past. No more ANR loops, random rebooting, and the need to disable hardware overlays. Everything is generally working and stable.
amaces Lineage OS 14.1 lnos_ovation-ota-NJH47F.171021.zip looks to be the way to go, Thanks!

AFAIK HDMI output does not work in recent years (unlike with CM11). Or did it change?

Yes, afaik that is still true. I haven't got around to testing yet, but I think cm11 is still being built and is probably quite stable now days. I don't think I'd recommend buying that hardware as even the Nook's own screen is too high a resolution for it's own processor and graphics chip. I'm amazed it plays YouTube [email protected] as well as it does.
