Well i wanted to try it for myself...and at the end of the story im too busy to care about my yuga lmao...so i build it and...will flash someday x) enjoy guyz!
But don't expect a build everyday or as i support validus...i made this one for fun and will try to give weeklies on it, i allow u guyz to tell me when there's no update since a while, cuz im focusing on validus and candy.
I missed RR after my galaxy s3 got stolen (I really miss it )

Very nice indeed. I'm on Paranoid Android 4+, so the installation is as simple as following the instructions, no fuss right? Just put on phone, wipe and flash?

Any music playback at all is force closed? With every app? Like Google Play Music, PowerAmp, Shuttle+, NexMusic? That's a huge deal breaker for me, and a lot of other people. Unfortunately, I can't get this till that's fixed. I should learn how to do this sort of thing so I can contribute to projects myself.

I haven't even flashed it yet, but I am strongly considering doing it this late still. If disabling nuplayer does work then I'm more likely to do so.
And I was curious as to why you insisted on showing so many videos on KitKat and lots of KitKat screenshots. I suppose your L ROM will look like every other one? If so, then I'm sure we all know what it looks like regardless.
It looks nice but I have no root. And all supersu zips gave me signature error.
Edit. Nvm. There is switch in settings.
But my music works fine for me. And RIL works fine. Good job dude

just flash this rom and so farno bug and smooth. i like it but one problem for me is this rom use cyanogen recovery.

v5.1.5 is the final build for RR. There will be no more updates as the developers have decided to call it quits.
Read more about the news here. Its sad, but you got to respect their decision.
This is the final kitkat release. They said they'll be back when v4.5 / 5.0 android comes out.

Yes. I don't remember , but somewhere in the resurrection settings, there is an option to change the height for the navigation bar to 0.

Since this rom is working without issues, I am gonna try compiling another one for you guys. Its called MAHDI ROM and is usually for NEXUS devices & SGS4, but it runs just awesome on my Mega. Anyone willing to be a tester?
Odex it, choose art and a custom kernel and this thing flies.
Unable to download this and would really like to try it out. I downloaded the Mega app, it doesn't launch when I click the link and I copy and paste the link into the app it says "folder downloads not supported".

- I haven't tested flashing the ROM using the automated scripts in the OTA updater. Use them at your own risk. I advice you to open recovery manually and flash the ROM manually. If you do decide to test the OTA updater scripts and it works, share with the community.

CM has removed radio drivers. I do not know the reason. If they fix I will add it.
I get an error at the setup which makes it unable to use, or even get past the setup screen:
com.android.systemui has stopped
I made a clean install, came from infected's CM Rom. I tried rewiping and reflashing, also flashing it, booting and then again flashin it. I still get the error. :/
Someone else has the same error? Right now i'm not at my pc so i can't check logcat, sorry.
Edit: Made it through the setup by wildly tapping on the next button and ok on the ok of the error. Seems like it can't get into the expanded mode in the setup and crashes the system ui. However after the setup it works

i think the issue is to do with a mod you flashed if no mod flashed then the gapps so far all gapps i try fc the torch and it is not only this rom which it happens. Use pa gapps or the gapps in the op and there shouldnt be any issues at all

However thx for the rom and for the help
Other roms work flawless, and i don't have the issue with the torch on latest nightly and m6 build of infected
When i'm at home again i will look further with logcat.

-OTA UPDATES-
- You will get a notification on your phone when a new version of RR ROM is available. You can download the ROM on your phone through the OTA updater.
- For now, I have made the link to open in a browser as direct links for the ROM zip on file host might not work at times. I might change this to direct downloading of zips in the future.
- Full ROM will be downloaded, not a delta zip.
- I haven't tested flashing the ROM using the automated scripts in the OTA updater. Use them at your own risk. I advice you to open recovery manually and flash the ROM manually. If you do decide to test the OTA updater scripts and it works, share with the community.
IMPORTANT: If you come from another ROM, have some issues or want a really clean installation then follow the 'Extended steps to install the ROM' featured on the General FAQ

Has a weird red border that flashes upon selecting an option or sometimes a random it seems to happen....looks like its loaded and awesome though

ROM is Flawless
I am the consumate flasher. I first came across your work on the SOKP rom (Flawless as well) but I have to say I've gotten attached to this one and have yet to restore the other. You are without peer in how clean but feature rich your creations are. I have yet to experience any FC's or glitches, so not only B-E-E-R-S, but CHEERS!!

I just downloaded this ROM few question I have:
1) there a red box that goes around the screen ever time I open a app. How do i disable it? i did try the previous post method, didn't work
2) I'm using buzz launcher and the screen size isn't full screen. How do I make it full screen?
Otherwise great ROM!

4g lte
So i have been running custom roms on my s2 (sprint) for a long time, as well as prior phones, and am glad to say that in the next day or so i am going to upgrade to the s4, this rom looks really nice. My question is that all the roms for the s2 going forward from 4.2 no longer support wimax, but with the new 4g lte technology, (as on the s4) will this rom still allow for 4g lte service? Sorry, kind of a noob question but couldnt find after reading thru some of these s4 roms.. Thanks

this rom is not finishet yet... maybe you will have some errors in build processes, I recomend you to wait until a stable release come out

OctOs is CM based so its as "stable" as any ROM is right now

I'll test out the Rom for you today, I'll have it running as my daily driver, and I'll make not of any bugs, stability issues, etc...

Can't get a boot out of the ROM, just hangs on ROM LOGO.

Rom has been tested yesterday, this is what I found:
1, Initial installation will have some phone FC's , but if I create a brand new slot to flash again, it is gone away.
2, LTE DATA connection on Verizon is very stable and no APN issue
3, I observed today that after you switch off airplane mode in the morning, I will see 10% battery drop suddenly
Not sure why, but this ROM can be a daily driver now except the battery life
Oka maybe he have to make a clean install with new slot, battery life maybe have to be an issue from the kernel or maybe the battery need to be calibrated(i don't know if this word exist sorry), if you want I can support the rom, I can't test it because I don't have anymore this phone :/ and if you find more bugs report here please so I think how to solve it for the next build

I think that the problem with your rom is Framework BASE related....

Ahh well I didn't change anything mine is a pure cm12 base. I'll have to clean build later and pull a logcat to see what my issue is

Our device does not have gyroscope, so this isn't fault of the ROM.
And, yeah, I know you are talking about auto rotation, and that is with accelerometer.
@magdeoz or anyone who flashed liquid smooth here please provide some screenies and OP sorry for spamming this thread with other Roms thing but for preventing further things make a new ls thread,would be awesome!

Please in new build You could remove notification to log on the network because it always falls the sign is there asking to login and if I did not do in the status bar does not show the H + or H signal

Lovely ROM, but I did notice a few bugs like:
Settings FC when you try to change the vibration intensity in the Misc. section. I had to use Kernel Auditor to do that; soft reset when you try to pin any app.
I will PM you a logcat for the Settings app. I don't know if I can get for the app pinning reset.

When I turn mobile data appears a notification "Accessing the Network" to log on the network I select the option "Use With You" more when the signal drops appears that notification, and if I ignore it in the network icons in the status bar not appear the sign H + or H, the Roms KitKat not have this problem if I ignore the notification.
Battery is being drained so fast...
20% drained in 1 hour, that's insane. The ROM is overall perfect and it's the best option for Condor, but battery life is really really limited. Please fix this, devs. I thought it was already fixed.

I'm using it right now, it have the same issues of CM 12.1, but every feature of RR is working fine, is much more fluid.
Just a few observations:
1-Battery bar is enabled by default, to hide it you need to select bottom of navigation or top of navigation in settings.
2-Clear all in recents isn't enabled, just disable and enable.
3-Just like CM 12.1, memory leak bug is present.
I'm not having any major issue.
