I dont think they make any arm bads specifically for a said device. Walmart has some arm bands but they are universal for many devices.

For Droid Turbo / Moto Maxx is more difficult than others devices to find, because it's new and not very popular.
But I found an armband specifically designed to Galaxy Nexus one time.

No problem I was looking for one myself I do a lot of bike riding. I was actually looking at trailers last week on ebay then typed in droid turbo and stumbled on it gonna purchase it can't beat the price.

This is the one I have, just got it the other day from Marshalls locally. Fits the phone well, and my arm also. Haven't actually given it a go for normal use yet.

get a flipbelt you will end up thanking me. I love mine and have been running with it for over a year now. Half the time I can not even tell I have it on. http://www.amazon.com/Level-Terrain...=UTF8&qid=1424880896&sr=8-1&keywords=flipbelt

Look at the pictures. That is a universal one. It has an apple in one, and also a samsung in another. They put the title like that to sell. Again I repeat again. There is no one armband that is made for just one device. They all come universal depending on measurements for the arm belt and the phone itself.

I agree with @the_rooter when he says that the model of armband shared by @mdcowby isn't specific designed for Turbo/Maxx.
But it's time to repeat what I said too
Once upon a time I found an armband specific for Galaxy Nexus.
But it's very difficult to find, due to market reach differences between creating an armband for a device or creating a generic armband that fits in a thousand.

Tunebelt AB88 works well with my Turbo. I have a very minimal case on it and am able to slide it in/out of the armband easily with the case on. The fit is good enough that it doesn't slide around within the armband, though.
If you have a thicker case, like an otterbox, you'll need the next size up.
If you don't use a case at all, you can probably go with the next size down.

Laptop replacement

Just read a little about this product. Do you guys think this would be a good compliment to the Note 2. It's supposed to retail around $200 US.

I've been waiting a long time for this, I just don't know that it will ever make it to market.

Nice
Looks interesting. I'd give it a go for 200 bucks. The iPad version seem to be getting good reviews.
looks like a macbook
i like it
I don't know if I would call it a laptop replacement. The site didn't give enough details to make a decent guess
My guess, it would be what we see with the iDevice versions or something similar to ASUS Transormer Prime/Infinity Pads. What I think you're getting is just a device just brings an Android experience to a larger screen and nicer keyboard to use. I'm almost want to say it's just going to mirror your device display.
If you're familiar with Android and normal OSs for notebooks--Windows, OSX, various Linus distros--then you'll know they're not exactly the same. Android is very capable OS, but it has it's limits compared to other OS choices
That said, it could a good choice for someone, maybe a student, for two hundred dollars. A lot will depend on what you need to use.
Looks great to me. I'd be a buyer. Even better, they should make it with a space in the back that you can pop your device in... Just order the right spacers and it should fit snugly.
Swyped from the closest Galaxy.
Wow, holy ****. I'd buy one in a heart beat.

Did some reading on the Interwebs, and my enthusiasm is dampened. It seems that Clamcase is not a reputable company, and their products are of awful quality with nonexistent support. The idea is a fantastic one, I'd daydreamed of something similar (with a backlit keyboard and a big user replaceable SSD), but these guys are worse than vapor-ware, apparently.

disappointing to hear. I forget which company makes it, I think ASUS, where there is a smartphone and tablet combo. The phone actually goes into the tablet. This is similar except it's a laptop and USB cable or cradle.
It definitely could be useful for some.

Nope. Lapdock has two connections, one hdmi, the other usb.
I use to use something like this for Windows Mobile called a Redfly that was more like a netbook size. This would still make sense to me except my Series 9 Ultrabook is already a better option and as thin and light as i need it to be.
The main thing missing for me in Android/iOS is the multi-window support, but if a product like this would come out and still support multi-window like the Note 2 does, it would be a good solution for not having a super light/thin but expensive ultrabook.
Wonder if it uses the old 5 pin mhl or the new one that the gn2 and gs3 use.
Guess I'll get a bluetooth keyboard trackpad combo and wait for this:
http://www.medltech.com/product.html
I've got a lapdock and may get the Mhl cable to see if I can get it to work. The lapdock is just use and hdmi.
Sent from my SCH-I605 using xda app-developers app
unless both devices have MHL built into them, you'll need to get a MHL adapter.
I had no idea if the PadFone is available in the US either. I just remember the device existing and it's what device reminded me of. It's nice idea since most people are getting and using various smartphones. Why not trying to combine with something to be more robusts. I just see, as of right now, being limited because of the Android OS itself and how to apps designed and written. No mobile office suite compares to features and use to a desktop counterpart. Although, given the costs, it can me a nice alternative.
Personally, I would just get an older laptop if to fit the need. Other than maybe a need for bigger screen, I would just use a portable keyboard and stand for the phone and call it good. Not that I would recommend for writing a paper for school. I hold that statement for tablets too.

it looks like they'll be making docks for specific phones, so I imagine the note 2's dock will be the correct one. i'm guessing they'd also make a generic interface for non-so-popular phones, perhaps cable-only. In which case you can use the 11-5pin converter that Samsung sells.
i wonder how the keyboard/trackpad works. i'm guessing bluetooth?

Is the Pebble Steel worth it?

So, I'm really thinking about buying the Pebble Steel. Is it really worth the $250 though? Also, would you guys say this is the best smartwatch available on the market right now? Any feedback is appreciated!
Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
i can't say it's the best because I've used none others and i can't say u should buy one because i don't know what you're after.
the pebble steel is, imo, a watch-lover's smartwatch. it has the design of a quality watch (besides the cheap bands). i have no interest in having a computer on my wrist, but having a remote screen to view my phone? yes please, and that's exactly what pebble makes. the steel is priced like a typical quality dumb watch. $200-300 is a good price for a well made watch with accurate time keeping and solid build quality. there does not exist another smartwatch that looks like a regular watch, that I can wear with a pair of cargo shorts, a suit, and a tuxedo. hell I don't have a dumb watch I'd wear with all attire. I basically wanted a better watch, and the steel, along with watch apps and the 3rd party pebblebits firmware has given me exactly what I want.
it's not perfect, but app and firmware updates are steady and bugs are being fixed. I don't think I could be any happier with it unless it took standard size bands.
Sent from Tapatalk using my xposed VZW G2
Yes it's worth it but better wait a little bit for the new moto 360. They say that the 360 it will cost the same as the Pebble.
Tapatalked with my "refrigerator look" HTC one M8
If know already know what the Pebble is capable of, and want to pay extra for the finishing (I didn't like the first version. It looked more like a gadget toy rather than a watch), then go for the steal.
The Sony one is also pretty cool, but the steal is the best looking (so far)
Sent by smoke signals, then translated to Morse, and digitized by Monkeys.
Given how easily my original Pebble's screen gets marked up, the Gorilla Glass on the Steel sounds like a good idea.
That said, I'd also suggest waiting for the Motorola 360. What you can do with the Pebble is (unfortunately) so limited.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
Thanks for all the feedback guys! So I went ahead and bought the Pebble Steel! I figure if I wait for the 360 then I might end up spending the money that I have set aside for a watch on something else. Haha. If I decide I want the 360 later I can just sell the Pebble and pay the difference. I'm an impatient guy. Haha.

looks great.
there is a lot of good info at the official pebble forums regarding bands and quality and such. there are a handful of kickstarters making accessories and even watch band adapters allowing for standard sized bands to be used. if I wear out the standard metal band I will probably buy an adapter and find a standard band to replace it. Joe Pesci knows I have enough unused watches to 'steel' a band from.

I would have to say its totally worth it. I wear it all the time.
Yes it is!
Sent from my Nexus 5 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
It is definitely worth it.
My dad and I own a jewelry company so I buy all my watches wholesale. I had 42 at last count and I'm starting to think I should see a counselor. I go to the closet to decide what I want to wear and I can make the choice of anything from a cheap Fossil to a Citizen Eco-Drive to a Rolex Deep Sea. I pick my Pebble Steel for regular wear 99% of the time.
That's not to say that the Steel has the same "quality" as the Rolex by any means but for every day wear and use the Steel is actually quite a bit better. It's right there with every watch in it's price segment and matches up quite well even with watches in the $600-700 range.
The only glaring thing I don't like is the band but it's no worse than anything else typical for its price point.

ClamCase for Nexus?

Hi there.
I was curious as to whether there was a product like the ClamCase Pro for the N7, or just 7 inch tablets in general. I know they're coming out with one eventually, but it's not available yet.
I know you can hack the Motorola Atrix to work with phones and all that, and possibly the Nexus as well, but am more interested in simply mounting a tablet into a laptop case.
Not sure whether you're still in the market for one or not, but this one from MiniSuit piqued my interest and seems to fit your description pretty nicely:
minisuit[DOT]com/p-1290-bluetooth-keyboard-stand-case-for-google-nexus-7-1st-gen-2012-rubberized-back.aspx
I don't post too often so it won't let me post the full link, but check it out. It beats the folding "rooCASE" I have now, which is a floppy $10 polyurethane nightmare.

The Nexus 9 is cool, but I really don't have any interest in buying one. I'm fine with my LG G Pad 8.3, plus I'm not so sure about the 4:3 screen ratio. Seems weird for an Android device.
The Nexus 6 or S or Shamu or whatever it'll be called, however, will be my next device. Coincidentally, my wage garnishment just ended, so I'll be able to save up for one without having to wait until next tax season.

You should take a look at the Samsung Note series. Yeah, I know, they're not the greatest when it comes to development and custom ROMs and whatnot. But the S Pen works great, and not only can it convert what you scribble into text, they have a "formula" mode that accurately converts your writing into equations and such. Pencil and paper is probably best for working things out, but once you're done, you can transcribe it to the Note and have it all nice and neat.

I know the Note 10.1 2014 Edition has what I'm talking about. I don't know of the Note 8.0, or the Note 3 or Note 4 phones have it or not.
Depending on price! I will be buying the nexus 9 on the release date. Hopefully next week 15th 16th and will be keeping an eye on HTC event today in new York! But I can not see HTC revealing a nexus project. Both devices look great on paper, the nexus 6 looks and sound great I understand there seems to be a large number of people saying its to large. I had a note 3 at 5.7 inches which I thought was to big but I was pleasantly surprised the nexus 6 is a most practically the same size minus the bezels of the note 3. Don't knock it to you have tried it in hand!

Nexus 6, or newer device?

I'm looking at upgrading my current device and have been eyeing the nexus 6 on that amazon sale for a little while now. I just want to ask for some opinions. is this device still worth a buy, or should I look at waiting for the new nexus devices (the 5x really doesn't interest me a whole lot, but maybe I'm missing something there) or should I get the moto x pure edition over the nexus 6? Thank you for any thoughts on the matter.

Since the N6 I do not use my N7 anymore, and hardly the PC.
Because rooting is easy and also customizing with the help of dev's here I choose the N6.
Some minor points:
- Magnet sensor can't be switched of;
- slippery; a (hard) case is need for better grip
- back is not flat, that's not handy when using qi-pad.

The Moto X that is $100 cheaper, is last year's model, the Moto X 2014. The Pure is the 2015 model, which is why it is more expensive.
Just got mine for 300€ - can't think of anything better at that rate. Predecessor was a Oneplus One, also cheap but total crap displaywise.

In the rom Cyanide-L you can shut off the magnet. Under display there are smart cover options that you can shut off.... I use it because I slipped some metal plates under the battery cover for my magnetic car mount and don't want it to shut off.

I have a magnetic car mount too.
About the rom. I am hesitating.
The coming update of Android M is using RRO/layers. CM has a different theme engine.
BTW I solved the 'magnet screen off issue' with an ultra thin case. With superglue I mounted a metal plate about 1cm below the M-logo at the back of the N6.
I'd say the N6. I had the Moto X 2015 which was about $450 with tax. I returned it and got the N6 brand new shipped for $300. Yes newer phones have newer stuff on them. But with that said the newer stuff is basically just a slightly faster CPU, and that is pretty much it. The N6 is a year old yet spec wise its still one of the faster and best phones you can get and at the current price its a no brainier...
